  1. Overlord Tournament...what happened?
  2.
  3. Once upon a time there was a man named Suranaku; he was born to the rare heroic lineage in a small country made mostly of forests, stone castles, and simple villages upon the planet Peres. This was a world where magic was real, yet it was almost subtle. A world of mystical mists transporting travelers to a fairy realm; a world of demon beasts and dragons being slain by heroes; a world of evil witches deep in the swamps casting curses upon towns people and princesses needing rescued from the clutches of ogres and demons. This world was gifted with a champion's citadel, a marvelous temple from which even greater heroes could appear; in truth a front for the inter-dimensional law enforcement agency simply called The Dimension Police. Suranaku grew to become a hero, a very gifted one who caught the eye of the champion's citadel after he imprisoned a powerful witch in a cave and returned to fight her when she returned. Suranaku was gifted by the champion's citadel with the truth of the cosmos, of other planets and with immortality. Overtime he'd drop his humble apperance and adopt a more look he picked up from an Earth; blue jeans, black t-shirt, and leather vest jacket; he felt it fit his unique blone with red tips hair better.

  5. Suranaku grew in power, possessing almost god like ki manipulation powers, flight, nearly indestructable, able to produce powerful energy blasts. The same witch he had once pursued returned and he learned what he had fought had only been an avatar; he learned of these beings that take on avatars with limited memories and powers to "play" with mortals and their worlds. Despite the danger he would insist upong continuing to hunt down and combat this individual and her kind. That was until one day he infiltrated an Overlord Tournament upon an Earth dubbed Midgardia. Here he was confronted by the being Yi-Natta, who was also the death goddess of Peres; he was killed; and his soul reincarnated to become a monk named Argon. Yet even now there is still a Suranaku in the Dimension Police; heading to a different Earth on the tip that some entities connected to the being he is always pursuing are there taking part in an Overlord Tournament.

  9. Suranaku finds himself mid-transport, not something that can normally occur, floating in a white/orange tunnel of light.
  10.
  11. "Why are you heading to Earth?" asks a voice he recognizes as that of the mysterious woman who had infiltrated their base.
  12.
  13. "That isn't your concern," growls Suranaku charging up spheres of blue energy in his hands.
  14.
  15. The energy fades however as he feels dizzy.
  16.
  17. "Who are you?" asks the voice.
  18.
  19. "What?" asks Suranaku, "I recognize your voice witch, I am Suranaku of the Dimension Police."
  20.
  21. "Suranaku died," comes the voice, "killed by Yi-Natta the goddess of death for the planet Peres. Even saved by the rules of the Overlord Tournament, in its aftermath his soul was released."
  22.
  23. A window appears in the tunnel of light showing a young man in yellow and orange monk robes practicing martial arts, "That young man there is Argon, training to become a warrior monk. When Midgardia was reformatted Surnaku's soul was declared by the Celestial Empress of the Void to requie returning to the cycle of reincarnation; so it was Yi-Natta gave his soul the rest and rebirth it cried out for."
  24.
  25. The Window changes to show a green coffin like chamber in what he recognizes as a Dimension Police facility and uniforms on those there, inside is himself, hooked up to wires and a device around his head, "A memory collector and inducer," comes the voice, "You are not the same soul, you are a stolen life, a new soul in a new body forced with the memories and baggage of things you did not personally experience."
  26.
  27. "A clone," says Suranaku, "a back up for when things go bad."
  28.
  29. "No transfer occured, you remember the Overlord Tournament, from a second hand experience, observing yourself; and like a story you were told, a book you read, a movie you watched. Not as a personal experience."
  30.
  31. There is a pause before the voice continues, "Besides the Overlord Tournament on that Earth is over, you have no buisiness there, and that Earth is within Ju-el territory; you are not permitted to go there without invitation."
  32.
  33. There is a flash of light and Suranaku finds himself back at the DP base before the gate; much to the astonishment of those there.
