  1. [20:52:59] <Rydian> Yo.
  2. [21:15:40] <Gaz Lloyd> hi
  3. [21:19:47] Stinkowing has joined the chat.
  4. [21:21:27] <Rydian> Anybody here familiar with the makeup of the money making guide page?
  5. [21:22:29] <Stinkowing> can't say I am
  6. [21:22:37] <Gaz Lloyd> yeah
  7. [21:22:42] <Gaz Lloyd> what's up
  8. [21:25:25] Stinkowing has left the chat.
  9. [21:26:01] <Rydian> Well I'd like to update the page to include the initial costs as well as the expected profit, but I have no idea how the page is laid out. Most of the data doesn't seem to be in the main page and I can't find what sort of include/template it's pulling from.
  10. [21:26:20] Atheist723 has left the chat.
  11. [21:26:27] <Gaz Lloyd> its all done via dpl
  12. [21:27:02] <Gaz Lloyd> i don't know if the table really needs to be expanded
  13. [21:29:13] <Gaz Lloyd> also the profit is done in one direct sum, so we couldn't pull out only the inputs
  14. [21:29:47] Stinkowing has joined the chat.
  15. [21:34:13] <Rydian> Listing only by potential profit is a bit misleading though, as some of the highest-listed methods are the riskiest and need the highest initial input. Each individual page has a list of the input items needed, I could just copy-paste those as a sum or whatever.
  16. [21:36:10] <Gaz Lloyd> the table on mmg is automatically generated
  17. [21:37:19] <Gaz Lloyd> we'd need to reformat how all the pages store the profit to have the values separated
  18. [21:37:52] <Gaz Lloyd> its not undoable but it'd be a pain and take a while
  19. [21:38:09] <Gaz Lloyd> i'll pass on the idea to cook and stuff
