  1. Here is the major lore map of the world you are in. This map represents the major towns and features, and also the main areas of the world.
  2.

  4.
  5. A few things about each place.
  6.
  7. The Stronghold - The center of the map, this city represents all that is good and fair in the world. On the outskirts of this city, the peasants and farmers work their land. As you get closer to the center, the residents appear more and more wealthy. The city is always alive, bustling with activity and street performers. Magic is very common here. Nearly every church (and cult) has their own building in the city. At the center is the King's Castle. This is the most fortified place in the entire world, with giant walls surrounding the king, the aristocrats, and the oligarchs. The government is run with the king as it's public figurehead and leader as one branch, the elected oligarch officials in another branch, and the wealthiest aristocrats in the third branch. Laws are passed and armies are moved, according to the things that go on in this castle.

  9.
  10. To the West of The Stronghold is Syatari. One of the most technologically advanced places in the world, this place is where scientific experiments are done and discoveries are made. It is run by a group of 7 scholars, and magicians and wizards are not allowed to take part in any form of government here. Likewise, magic is not very common and is often frowned upon.
  11.
  12.
  13. Further West, you will find Askratos. This city is very heavy on trade. Goods such as spices, plants, or herbs are often taken from the Drokehm Wilds and transported here for refinement and packaging. Many deals are made here, but the town has a dark history. When Rahota the Demon Lord rose to power thousands of years ago, he emerged from a giant pit a few miles outside of this town. He enslaved nearly every citizen of Askratos, and tortured thousands of them. He then began to spread throughout the land, taking over many other smaller towns until a coalition of wizards, scientists, soldiers, and nearly every soul in the land managed to defeat him. Legend has it he is locked inside a massive, magical coffin somewhere miles inside the earth.
  14.
  15.
  16. To the North of Syatari is Willsdale. Willsdale use to be a very diverse place, but once a cult following blamed a group of magical beings for the brutal murder of many local leaders, the town fell to chaos. Mobs chased out the magical beings of elves, dwarves, and nearly anything that wasn't human. Willsdale has since recovered, but the town is still incredibly racist towards anything that isn't human and nonmagical. Local rumors suggest that the cult who rid the town of the natural creatures who weren't human is still in power in Willsdale today.
  17.
  18.
  19. West of Willsdale is The Drylands, and the city of Duneshaven. The Drylands is an unforgiving, windy area with constant, scorching heat. Duneshaven was built around a giant Oasis, and the city is very primitive and simple. The more one travels into the Drylands, the hotter is gets and the more the unforgiving winds blow. Duneshaven has a problem with roaming caravans of thieves ransacking the village, as though it is a large city, it has a very unorganized and inefficient guard system.
  20.
  21.
  22. In the South is Eiaka. "Eiaka" means "home" in most monster tongues, and that's exactly what it is. All monsters in the land feel a connection to this place, like it has some historical importance.
  23. Vampires, werewolves, ghouls, demons, and countless other races of monsters all reside here. All non-monster types are killed on sight, but it's very unlikely that any non-monster would ever step foot inside the city walls.
  24.
  25.
  26. East of Eiaka is Shoatia. Shoatia is a place of mysterious activity. All the captured soldiers are taken there, but one can only guess what happens to them.
  27.
  28.
  29. Between Eiaka and The Stronghold is Hell's Edge. This is the battle point between the glorious soldiers of the North, and the evil, unforgiving monsters in the South. An endless battle rages on here, with war machines, giant behemoths, and any other method of battle imaginable. The war is an endless tug-of-war, and both sides have been suffering victories and defeats for a time that seems like forever.
  30.
  31.
  32. The lone island is the Thious Island, which is full of the banished ones from both monster towns and natural ones alike. Only the worst traitors and criminals get sent here. Boats full of prisoners are sailed near, then the prisoners are thrown overboard and forced to swim to the island. Not much is known about what goes on there, except that the banished ones have set up a mock city near the center, and that the island is the natural home of abominations that will prey on anything that moves.
  33.
  34.
  35. East of The Stronghold is Jomfara. This town is a sort of giant hub of drug trafficking and crime and corruption. It is a very dark place, and cults often gain their followers from here.
  36.
  37.
  38. Farther East is Grik's Grotto. This is a port city heavy on trade, with a booming fishing industry. However, no one has ever crossed the Vast Sea due to the amount of monsters in it, the farther out a ship sails the more Leviathans and Sea Serpents it encounters.
  39.
  40.
  41. To The North are the Scolation Mountains, steep, snowy mountains that ascend extremely high. In it lies the Shiaot Monastery, a place where many religions of monks and priests come to meditate, learn, and train. It is a very mysterious place, and few who have never been to the Monastery even know about it.
