Orphaned high school student Rick Riker is bitten by a radioactive dragonfly, develops super powers (except for the ability to fly), and becomes a hero.
It was a pretty nice movie, didn't except it, it was a parody of a lot of superhero movies such as spider-man and X-man and did it pretty well, it had a lot of "puns" that made it even more amazing, for the people that do get them. It even had casts from the famous parody movies "Scary movie",It even has Kevin Hart in its cast However, i t kinda sucks that this movie has only 4/10 rating, i think that it deserves way more than most of people think. I feel bad that there are movies out there that people give 10/10 ratings because everyone does, and no one even rates this amazing movie, i laughed at least 30 times, more than when i watched "Deadpool" Highly recommended
I Loved this movie.. I don't know what else to say.. I love all the movies that make fun of other movies. When I looked at the rating it said PG on it.. (Maybe this is just in Canada?) When I went into the Theatre there was a row of about 7 10 year old boys. I Went with my best friends and they loved every minute of it. The Humor was the best thing about it.. and Drake Bell's performance was great. I definitely will be buying this movie when it comes out.. I don't know why everyone else had a problem with it.. I recommend this movie to anyone who is at least 13 and can handle joke about sex,drugs, and swearing. For anyone who didn't like it.. they really need to learn to laugh.. :P For anyone who did like the movie thats great and I'm glad you have a sense of humor. :D
No real mockery is intended by this harmless, mindless grab bag of slightly used gags, which lampoons some of the conventions of recent comic-book epics and adds the expected staples of juvenile humor: urine, vomit and intestinal gas.
The Extended version of Superhero Movie features not only some more violent scenes but also several new dirty jokes that aren't included in the theatrical version. Altogether this adds to a total difference of approximately 6 minutes. Just in case you're a fan of this movie the Extended version is worth a try.
