(I don't have the start of this log, but Daiua was asking if anyone had seen Lanni and saying he had gone missing. Thus sparked a search!)

(Yneli): Kaiel (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Oh?"

(Yneli): You say, "I am still looking, but...have you all seen the orchard here?"

Lost within the orchard.
Dazzling designs of petals eddy through the air, creating patterns of intricate forms far too complex to be born of a random breeze. The barks of the many trees are wantonly painted with rich tints of brown, and the leaves adorned upon the branches exceed every color of natural green with hues of unfathomable shades by mortal eyes. Gazing beyond the horizon, the endless lines of the orchard's trees fade into a dissonance of exquisite pigments of swirling, painted brushstrokes.

(Yneli): You say, "Maybe he is lost amongst these trees..."

A spread of wildflowers.
Emerging from the trees, a patch of wildflowers offers a view of the valley, each bloom glossy as if freshly painted. Amidst the blossoms, a half-circle of seven stones, taller than any mortal, open to the valley below with each bearing an intricately painted orchid. The valley is laid out, surreal like an oil painting, with the waterfall slicing through the skyline and the eastern edge fading with smudges of color of unfinished brush work.

Gazing over orchard hill.
A solitary apple tree reaches towards the heavens here, its gnarled branches splayed out bearing brilliantly red fruit. The tree is the oldest in the orchard, with a hollowed-out base, it still produces an abundance of petals that glide down the hill. Looking out over the orchard, the shimmering petals swirl in mass, almost an ocean of color, that wave with the breeze. Her soulful eyes flashing between colours, a dryad wreathed in flowering kudzu waits here.

Reflecting a world beyond the humble temple surrounding it, a bronze mirror stands here. Resting heavily upon the ground is an enormous earthen bowl twined with living flowers that blossom from the clay. Daiua Greenthorn stands here, her midnight-hued eyes darting about in constant examination. Marked by a band of white feathers, a young eagle awaits its prey here. This section of the garden, the stone path continues, though it is difficult to distinguish where it begins or ends - most of the ground here is rocky, with pebbles mixed in with larger boulder formations. Iridescent muku pods in shades of greenish blue sprout from the stone soil, spreading tendrils over the every inch of the terrain. A few of the shining threads end in slender curls, creating strange, beautiful patterns of light on the ground below. Overhead, translucent green floaters bob and shift with the breeze. More lanterns are hung around the area, illuminated in pale violet. Bony and slender, Lanni Ahonen stands perched on the balls of his feet. An indecipherable muttering precedes the entry of Daiua Greenthorn.

Daiua Greenthorn's eyes bug out as she boggles in amazement.

Kaiel giggles happily at Daiua Greenthorn.

You nod your head at Daiua Greenthorn, showing your acceptance.

Lanni Ahonen makes gestures and speaks in a mellifluous tongue to Maylea.

You feel a slight tug within your chest and the air around you sparkles with motes of bright light.
You sense Aruokei pulling on the strands of aether surrounding you.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Lanni Ahonen, "Yes, I do believe it will work."

(Yneli): You say, "Verrix!"

Among the sparkling motes of light, a translucent figure appears in the air and then quickly solidifies as Aruokei comes into view.
She is followed by a hamster in a cage-wheel, a green parakeet, and a green parakeet.

(Yneli): You say, "Come to the inner sanctum?"

(Yneli): Verrix (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "On my way."

Aruokei grovels pathetically at Maylea's feet.

You have emoted: Lief's eyes sparkle, and she touches Aruokei's shoulder. "How are you supposed to see Her from down there?"

Maylea looks around at everyone gathered. "Hello, My dears. I'm sorry for taking Lanni away from you. But I do think that I've come to... some achievement for his request."

Aruokei quickly dusts herself off in embarrassment as she rises to her feet.

You tell Sower Verrix, "Come into the southernmost part of the inner sanctum...this is a garden I've never seen before!"

Lanni Ahonen exclaims to you, "Hal-lo, Leaf!"

Clapping her hands together, you say to Lanni Ahonen, "Hello, Lanni!"

With a flourish of his arm, Verrix bows deeply.

Looking about herself, you say, "Goodness...I've never seen anything like this before..."

You tilt your head and listen intently to Maylea.

Verrix kneels before Maylea, swearing his allegiance to Her.

Verrix stands up and stretches his arms out wide.

Giving a nod of agreement, Kaiel flits happily about, taking a closer look at the muku sprouts. "It would seem so, my Lady!"

Lanni Ahonen slinks slowly behind Maylea, peering at everyone gathered from behind Her.

Maylea gently brings Lanni forward once more. "Lanni, My dear, none of them mean you any harm." She sweeps Her gaze over you all, a mischievous smile upon Her lips.

Verrix flashes Lanni Ahonen a joyous smile.

Grinning, Daiua Greenthorn says to Lanni Ahonen, "Well! If th'Lady took ye, Ah won't be mad nor nothin'."

You grin and nod at Daiua Greenthorn.

Over her shoulder, you say to Daiua Greenthorn, "He was in the very best of hands, I would say."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Lanni Ahonen, "Would you like Me to show them?"

Lanni Ahonen nods his head enthusiastically at Maylea.

Lanni Ahonen says, "Muku flower. Show."

Maylea bursts into laughter, causing wildflowers to sprout at Her feet and a fragrant breeze to dance through Her tresses.

Kaiel's ears perk up with a sudden interest.

You have emoted: Lief's wings hum excitedly, and she draws back, giving Maylea her full attention.

Maylea lifts a hand and draws from thin air a muku ball, which shimmers with many colours and casts a lovely light upon the area.

Verrix gives Maylea his full attention.

Her golden and blue eyes glinting, Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "It is not exactly a flower. Not yet."

Maylea proudly shows off a many-coloured muku ball:
About the size of a small melon, this strange muku ball is glowing like a small lantern, pulsating with a different colour every moment. The bumpy skin is translucent, splashed by haphazard streaks of emerald and azure across its bumpy skin that reflect light like lacquer. A tart, mouth-watering fragrance wafts off of the sphere, reminiscent of unripe berries.

Lanni Ahonen lifts his oval green eyes to stare upon the muku ball, his mouth slightly open.

Breathing out softly, you say, "Oh, goodness...it didn't glow like that before." She sniffs the air. "And it didn't *smell* like that before."

Kaiel flashes you a brief look of concern before turning his full attention to the muku ball. "Oh, my, how lovely!" he exclaims, eyes wide. (<--I had a plague tick go off. Never rescuing Aruokei again. D: Somehow I got incurable plague and she didn't.)

Sower Verrix says, "It is quite beautiful."

Bending to trail Her fingers along the wisps of thread upon the ground, Maylea elaborates, "I sat with the seed for many months, hearing its small voice, learning of its small life." The threads upon the ground glow and curl about Her fingers in joy.

Maylea smiles softly.

You have emoted: Lief clasps her hands together, listening, her eyes smiling as she watches Maylea and the muku ball.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "I could touch the essence of My sister within. Merely a drop, diluted over many aeons. But She was part of this." She trails Her fingers over the glowing muku ball. "And so, it was there I could begin."

Verrix listens intently.

Lanni Ahonen nods slowly at Maylea, mouthing, "Kaenalye..."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Lanni Ahonen, "Yes, My dear."

You have emoted: Lief raises her clasped hands to cover her mouth, her eyes bright.

The sweet voice of Kavindra rises through the Temple of Maylea, singing of peace and hope, joy and forgiveness.

Sweeping Her gaze slowly over each of you, Maylea murmurs, "I spoke to the essence of My sister within, and I called upon it." The threads upon the ground curl about Her feet. "I felt joy, sorrow, a thousand emotions presenting themselves, and I gave it also My own memories, My own stories." She lifts Her head at Kavindra's echoing song. "We communed."

Verrix sits himself down.

Glorious rays of morning light burst forth from Father Sun's crown as it peeks over the world's edge, announcing a bright and shining new dawn.

Verrix gives Maylea his undivided attention.

You have emoted: Lief's dragonfly wings are a blur keeping her aloft. She listens to Maylea, breaking her attention only once or twice to look at Lanni Ahonen before returning her focus to the Goddess's story.

Maylea places a hand upon the muku ball, which pulsates in Her grasp. "And so I infused this seed with a portion of My memories, as to awaken that of My Sister's. Somewhere, along the way... I think she understood," She indicates the seed She holds. "And She unfurled herself within."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Lanni Ahonen, "Lanni, I believe if one were to plant this Elder-touched seed, you will find the flower you seek."

Lanni Ahonen gives a many-coloured muku ball back to Maylea. "This is muku seed, for flower. Lady Maylea painted!" His face lights up for a brief, rare smile.

Maylea's mouth turns up as Her face breaks into a smile.

Maylea tilts Her head and looks about, asking, "Would any wish to do the honours?"

Kaiel glances askance at you.

Verrix looks to Lief.

You have emoted: Lief pats the front of her robes, her eyes bright. "Oh, I would love to, but I wouldn't want to take the honour from someone else who might!"

You ask Aruokei, "Would you like to, Aruokei?"

Aruokei nods her head emphatically.

You clap your hands together merrily.

Maylea gives a many-coloured muku ball to Aruokei.

Aruokei says, "But-."

Aruokei says, "Ah."

You nod your head affirmatively at Aruokei.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "I believe only the soil here, within My realm of power, will be sufficient."

Verrix looks to Aruokei.

Aruokei gets down on her hands and knees and begins clawing at the earth with her fingers. She soon stands up however, cursing a broken nail.

Aruokei shuffles her feet uneasily.

You give a hefty shovel to Aruokei.

Aruokei says, "I don't have a sho-."

Aruokei sets about digging a deep hole. She is forced to occasionally stop and rest, so difficult is the work. Finally, the hole is done, and she places a many-coloured muku ball inside of it, then fills the hole back in.
A slender tendril of blue nudges its way out from the soil, shimmering with tiny leaves of every colour.

The tendril grows larger and wider with every moment until it spreads outwards into a young muku flower.

You say to Aruokei, "It is faeling-sized, but perhaps it works."

The young muku flower unfurls five fleshy petals, which pulse with a radiant glow.

Lanni Ahonen blinks.

Aruokei says, "A trowel works, too."

Entranced by a young muku flower, Kaiel emits a long "Ooooh."

Lanni Ahonen gingerly crouches towards the muku flower, sniffing at it.

About a foot across from end to end, the young muku flower shimmers with colour. Its five wedge-like, fleshy petals bear a shimmering blue tint run through with serpentine lines upon their surface. The petals join together in a bowl-like dip in the flower's centre, which is slowly filling up with a clear, viscous fluid. Tender, curling tendrils of muku thread sprout from the blossom's base, reaching outwards to insinuate themselves into the nearby surroundings.
It weighs about 7 pounds.

Lanni Ahonen turns to Maylea, speaking in a flow of his native tongue, while pointing at the flower.

Maylea murmurs to the flower resting before Her, "I believe, little one, that you unfurled yourself at My request, did you not?"

The blossom curls and unfurls its petals even further, shimmering with a rainbow of hues.

You have emoted: "I think that's a yes," Lief says, lips twitching upward as she admires the new flower.

Maylea leans in and adds a dash of yellow to a petal, a smile dancing upon Her face.

She then breathes on the flower, causing lines of red to spring up among the blossom's furrows.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity smiles and says, "I believe that Lanni wishes for the flower to receive some nurturing. Nutrients, as he says, that he once gave to muku upon Lyraa Ey Rielys."

You tilt your head and listen intently.

Daiua Greenthorn says, "Wha' kinda nutrients???"

Lanni Ahonen points off into the wild blue yonder.

Lanni Ahonen exclaims, "Koi! Koi!"

Sower Verrix says, "Was it the Koi scales?"

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity laughingly says, "I would imagine so."

Verrix stands up and stretches his arms out wide.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says, "I didn't think anyone remembered My little koi. But it seems Lanni has been exploring."

Continuing the hunt for his dark mate, Father Sun presses forward in his journey, lowering himself in the sky yet still casting even, full light upon the land.

Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, Daiua Greenthorn says, "Bu', Ah dunno 'ow yer supposed t'rip th'scales off th'koi?"

Sower Verrix says, "I apologize but how would we get the scales from the koi without harming them. I am still quite young and know of no way to do so."

Daiua Greenthorn looks around at everyone and asks, "Yea, 'ow d'ye do tha?"

You look thoughtful and say to Verrix, "I've never done such a thing, either..."

You have emoted: Lief mimes grabbing a fish out of the air. "I could try to catch one!"

Sower Verrix says, "Maybe we could ask them for some of their scales?"

Sower Verrix says, "I mean they are m'lady's koi."

Maylea leans in to the young flower and adds a dash of green colour to its petal tips.

You ask, "Kaiel, Aruokei...any ideas?"

Kaiel ponders the situation.

Kaiel says, "I have no idea how to go about removing scales from a still-living Koi, no."

Kaiel sways back and forth.

Smiling, Maylea says, "If I remember rightly, I think they do enjoy worms." She clasps Her hands together, "But not of their own colour." She laughs, "Only of those colours that are a complement to their own."

You have emoted: Lief taps on her cheek, musing aloud, "Worms, worms..."

Daiua Greenthorn says, "Wha??? Ye mean all those colourful worms tha' crawl round yer realm, in th'ground?"

You blink.

You ask Daiua Greenthorn, "I've never dug about there...they like them?"

You work and pound the iron until it forms a hefty shovel.

Sower Verrix says to Lanni Ahonen, "Did you say specifically the Red Koi scales or any color?"

Sower Verrix says, "I will take one if I can help."

You work and pound the iron until it forms a hefty shovel.

Verrix nods his head at Lanni Ahonen.

Daiua Greenthorn says, "Ah'm pretty sure tha' means any koi scales."

You smile broadly and say, "Now, let's head into Kiunid Vruna and see what we can find."

Kaiel nods his head at you, showing his acceptance.

Verrix nods his head emphatically.

Attracted by the fragrance of the muku flower, a pollen-dusted bumblebee drifts into the area and alights upon the blossom, harvesting nectar.

Kaiel turns toward a pollen-dusted bumblebee and touches his chest in greeting, an array of prismatic colours briefly glinting in his eyes.

A beam of moonlight comes down from the sky and bathes you in light.
You sense Pysynne pulling on the strands of aether surrounding you.

You clap your hands together merrily.

Pysynne dances down a moonbeam and alights gently on the ground.
A handsome, pure black stag with black wings trots in from the ether.

You beam broadly at Pysynne.

Pysynne inclines his head politely to those around him.

In a gravelly voice, Pysynne says, "Hello."

Pysynne flashes Maylea a joyous smile.

You ask Lanni Ahonen, "Do we need any further scales to nurture the flower?"

A pollen-dusted bumblebee loses interest and returns to flitting among the flowers.

Kaiel ponders the situation.

Lanni Ahonen hugs a radiant muku flower compassionately.

Lanni Ahonen exclaims, "Big, big now!"

Several feet across from end to end, the blooming muku flower simply radiates with colour. Its wedge-like, fleshy petals, of which there are five, bear a shimmering blue tint while run through with serpentine grooves that rest along the petal's width. The grooves each glow with a different hue of the rainbow, filled with clear, sticky fluid that runs slowly towards a bowl-like dip in the flower's centre, which is filled with tiny organisms swimming in the viscous pool it holds. Long, curling tendrils of muku thread sprout from the blossom's base, reaching outwards to insinuate themselves into the nearby surroundings.

Kaiel smiles softly.

Maylea tilts Her head, as if listening to something that does not reach your ear. Her chestnut and azure tresses flutter back and forth with a fragrant breeze.

She is a radiant immortal and glows with effulgent life, a powerful sense of vibrancy emanating from Her presence. The flower's petals curl in on themselves, only the tips visible as the central sphere stretches longer and longer into an ovoid shape.

The forming shape become a bulbous muku fruit, shining with a thick, reflective rind and giving off a wild, tart fragrance that invigorates the senses.

Unlike the lighter-than-air floaters that muku plants normally produce, this Divine-touched muku fruit definitely bears some heft to its form. Ovoid in shape with mild ridges running lengthwise between two ends, the fruit gives off a wild, tart fragrance that invigorates the senses. Its skin is thick and shiny, deep blue in colour with prickles and spots that radiate in prismatic hues. A ring of circular concavities surround the base of the fruit, where it appears the rind may be easier to peel to get at the glowing flesh within.
It weighs about 5 pounds.

The soft inside is divided into wedges, reminiscent of an elongated citrus fruit, but with a wilder, more invigorating fragrance. Pysynne steadily devours each wedge, savouring every colourful bite.

The sky lightens and stars fade as Father Sun approaches the horizon in his neverending quest to capture Mother Night.

Lanni Ahonen gazes up at Maylea in concern. "Lady Maylea? Hurt?" He slinks over to you, crouching beside you.

In a gravelly voice, Pysynne says, "It was... a lovely vision if a vision it be. As one who spends a lot of time with the Spirits and seeing the past... I feel honoured to have witnessed this."
