- Character name: Oswald the Lucky Rabbit
- Series: Disney (Epic Mickey)
- Age: ???? I mean, if we're being technical, he was made 80 years ago but he's not 80. He's an adult, though.
- Housing: Snapdragon Suites
- Occupation: Mechanic
- Triggers: n/a
- Personality:
- Oswald is, with a lack of better words, bitter to no end and back. With a deep hatred for his predecessor in his heart(or lack of a heart, I should say-), the once mischievous and fun loving rabbit had turned bitter and in a sense, cold hearted. He has a short temper, getting frustrated at even the smallest inconvenience and wouldn't hesitate to resort to violence if he absolutely had to. He's a little bit distant from everyone, as well, preferring to take on problems on his own rather than ask for help for others unless he has no other choice but to. He chooses to approach his problems with a serious facade, and will almost never approach it in a joking manner. Times have changed for the rabbit, anyways - he can't help it if just wants things to get done. Besides, what else CAN you do when you've practically lost just about everything in your life? However, Oswald has a great sense of leadership. He can easily lead a group of people and know what to do and what not to do in any situation, and will unlikely break under pressure. What's one to expect out of a king, anyways?
- His hatred to his predecessor, Mickey Mouse, is no secret. He truly believes that Mickey had taken everything good out of his life, and would prefer to be stuck in a crowded room than be in a room with only him. It's no secret that Oswald is extremely jealous of Mickey as well, knowing fully well that he's living the life that he should be living, instead. Even if there's the chance that someone will recognize him as who he was, he'd instantly believe that they were comparing him to Mickey and treat them with hostility, under the impression that he's just being compared.
- Although it's rare for it to come out, Oswald does have a kinder side to him. He isn't a complete jerk, after all! He'll do anything he can to make sure that he can hand out help towards those who need it, and knows how to get things done should he ever be in a situation that calls for it. He does have his moments where how he used to act in the past acts up, and will have his moments of being mischievous and quite a bit of a trickster. Even though he does have this side to him, it's extremely rare for it to come out - in fact, it'll most likely only come out if he knows he can trust you with his life.
- Background:
- There was once a point in his life where Oswald was popular- an actor loved by millions for the work he's done. He had just about everything he wanted, from the love and affection to the man who he created him-- his father, to the adoration and love from the fans. In the blink of an eye, however, Oswald's shows and movies came to a sudden halt, and Oswald could feel the affection and love given to him by millions around the world come to an end. He could feel the beating in his chest come to an eventual stop, as he was thrown into a blank canvas of sorts all by himself. He soon came to the realization, that the love he had grown so accustomed to had been taken away from him in just the blink of an eye and he was no longer relevant to the media.
- "He was the first to rise to fame, and the first to be forgotten."
- Soon, other toons he had worked with began to appear in the blank canvas with him-- one of them being his wife, Ortensia. Not wanting them to feel the distress he had felt upon realizing that he was no longer relevant(especially his sweet Ortensia, she didn't deserve that), Oswald took it upon himself to create a world for everyone to live in - something that they would all feel comfortable living in. Oswald created the Wasteland for them all by himself and took it upon himself to become their leader, their king.
- Things had appeared to feel normal for a while, and Oswald had even felt comfortable knowing that he lived in his home that he had created. But just as he had managed to settle down comfortably and live a normal life - a giant wave of thinner came through his home and destroyed just about everything in the process. As if things couldn't be any worse, the event caused a giant creature known as the Shadow Blot to be created- who simply just wanted to destroy everything that hadn't yet been destroyed and claim the land as it's own. While Oswald was able to contain the shadow blot after a long and tiring battle, Oswald had lost his wife in the process after she sacrificed herself so Oswald wouldn't be hurt.
- Powers:
- Hovering: Using his ears like a propeller, Oswald can either float in place or float to a place that other's can't easily get to due to it being far away.
- Limb removal: Oswald can remove parts of his body at his own free will to use them to his own advantage, or to help him in a sticky situation.
- Luck: Luck is in his name, after all! Oswald's luck can go either one of two ways: bad, or good. When Oswald's luck is good, he has a higher chance to land a hit on his enemies or swiftly avoid an attack - or his luck could even lead him down a path that would treat him well! Though, when his luck is bad - it’s bad. It’s easy for him to get sabotaged and completely ruined when his luck leans more towards bad.
- Extra:
- Oswald's canon point is after Ortensia is taken away from him by the Shadow blot.
- I am fine with your character recognizing Oswald, however, don't be shocked if Oswald seems to treat your character with a bit of hostility. Things have changed for him ever since he stopped being an actor, anyways!
