  43. Bio: Born in the capital of Nelestia, Magecrown, Samedi spent his childhood and most of his teenage years inside his family's manor. Under the view of his parents, there was no need for him to bother himself with outside distractions, considering his family was wealthy enough to provide whatever was needed, instead making him fully focus on his studies to make sure their bloodline of barons wouldn't stop with him. As expected, his social interactions were limited, with Samedi mostly spending his time with his head buried in books, only with the occasional interaction with guests, slowly gaining general knowledge and related to magic. But what they truly were preparing him for was something that he only managed to understand during his teen years; turns out the manor that was passed on by generations have a library with books and tomes carrying forbidden and exotic knowledge-And during all those years, his predecessors had been trying to unlock the potential behind those books, as the process made by each generation only managed to scratch the surface of the power locked behind the library. Both with the tomes and the cursed relics, objects that could certainly make their family gain a proper position of power instead of just being seen as another wealthy family doing nothing. That lust for power was something that was soon passed to Samedi, both due to how he was raised and as consequence of learning more about these occult arts-The promise of power above what a normal spell linger could do.

  45. Samedi willingly sacrificed his teenager years to continue his studies in hopes of unlocking that hidden potential, while obliviously being affected by the cursed material he had been exposed for so long. His curiosity and eagerness became snarkiness, arrogance and indifference towards others as time went on, and yet the research continued. At least until they finally managed to get a lead on a grimoire that in theory could help them to get some of that power they so deserved; the Grimoire of Obeah. His parents followed the instructions that were given in another book in hopes of making the grimoire open, and while they did make to open it, turns out there was a price not listed in the book; life force. As soon as the grimoire obtained, two lives were claimed immediately, and before Samedi could even understand what happened the figure imprisoned inside the grimoire made itself visible; Kriminel. Turns out the grimoire was being used to restrain an entity with an appetite for chaos no matter the scale. Now stuck in a weakened shadowy form, Kriminel was quick to offer Samedi a deal; help him to find long forgotten knowledge to reach the position of power he desired and also more about the lesser dragons connected to Asharath, in exchange he would let Kriminel live in his shadow and be perform evil acts so the entity can feed on the negative emotions of their victims. Turns out Kriminel didn't even need to try too hard to get Samedi on board with it, due to both his interest on what was being offered and his indifference when it was about bringing inconvenience to the life of others, and so the deal was struck. From there, Samedi buried his parents and closed the manor to start his journey for knowledge and power-All while also making the life of other wealthy people miserable, whether it was indirectly by spreading rumors and lies to cause disrupting between ties...Or pushing people downstairs when given the opportunity.

  47. With Kriminel guiding him towards lost relics and forgotten books, Samedi soon found himself heading towards the neighbor kingdom of Hestia. Turns out an odd masked figure with a top hat with flames do raise a lot of attention even when claiming to be a 'scholar' of some sorts, especially with him being spotted in different libraries and carrying odd artifacts. This led to Samedi being dragged to a castle and questioned by King Asfalthe. During his stay, the baron made sure to share at least some of the less questionable things he learned with the intent of gaining his trust and keep that image of a scholar. During his stay and access to the library, he made sure to look for anything that could be useful for him, and with Kriminel's assistance seek for any sort of hidden artifacts to 'borrow' from the castle. But finally came the day his studies would need to be halted- as his presence was going to be needed somewhere else. While he wasn't completely sure about the details, this was still going to be a great opportunity to continue with his research-And of course, make the life of some people miserable again!
