  1. Basically, I met her when she was in training at my work. I went in on Monday, like 10 min before my shift was to start, and as I had time to kill, I went to where my friend was. When I got there, I saw he was training this new girl. I instantly thought she was pretty damn cute, and kinda froze up when I was introducing myself. I fucking forgot to even say my name. I left soon after to go clock in, and didn't see her at all for the rest of the day. (Apparently she thought I was a racist asshole though, as I was kinda overly quiet and shy. She's black, I'm White)

  3. Like 2 days later we had a department dinner, and she decided to randomly ask me if I was doing anything for Halloween. That stood out to me, as she asked me only. Again, didn't talk to her much then. (Around here is when she asked my friend, the guy who trained her, about me, saying that I seem cool and all)

  5. Fast forward like 2 weeks, I am sent on break, so I decide to buy a snack, and I happen to go through her register, as she see's me approach, she smiles widely, comments on the stuff I bought, ask's what I'm reading, and makes the first reference to hanging out.
  6.
  7. We talk pretty regularly at work for ~2 weeks, but not to the point of appearing as a couple (Yet...) At one point she asks to borrow a book of mine, as she wanted to read more into that topic. I lent it to her, she finishes it within 2 weeks.
  8.
  9. At a point, I realize that I really like her, and decided that I'll ask her to do something the next time I saw her at work. The day comes, and we start talking about stuff. Somehow we end up on the topic of firearms, and she randomly asks for me to take her shooting one day. We agree to try and figure something out, we settle on trying for that Saturday after she gets out of work. But she had to cancel the day before. I see her that Sunday, and she asks if I want to go to this art museum with her instead. Obviously I'll say yes, we agree to go that Thursday.

  11. I picked her up from her place at ~10AM, we drive the 1.5 hrs upstate to Storm King, and spend a good chunk of the afternoon there, looking at the sculptures on display, and just talking. We decide to then drive ~20 miles to go to a nearby town for dinner. We get there and park on the main road, and begin exploring and looking for food. Ultimately we end up at some small diner, and luckily, Christmas music wast on repeat like most other places (This was end of November). I was actually pretty surprised by the fact that she didnt guilt me for ordering a meat based dish as she's vegan. By ~5:30pm we wrap up dinner up there, and begin the drive back. At around 7:30 we arrive back at our town, but really didnt wanna part ways just yet, so we spend a fair bit of time trying to think of something. Ultimately we decided on getting a few beers to share in a field. She also tells me that she was originally gonna go with friends to a party in the City. (We contemplated going together actually) Ultimately, she ended up bailing on them. We ended up not going back till like 11PM or so. So like a full 13 hrs day trip together as a first "Date"
  12.
  13. From here, we ended up going out ~8 more times, to Dinners, Arcades, Works Christmas party, drinking, and even took a 2 day trip to Philly with her and her sis. But, the trip was the last time I saw her.
  14.
  15. So, I'll jump foward ~2 months from the first date, to this trip.
  16.
  17. We went on a trip together for 1 night, 2 days (with her sister. I was invited after they planned it)
  18.
  19. For some reason she chose to sit next to me on the bus, instead of her sister. Slapped my phone jokingly. And when we got to the hostel she decided to dance in front of me while kinda shaking her ass. The sister questioned it and she said she just wants to get a reaction out of me, and commented how I never react. Also the sister constantly took the front seat while leaving us in the back while taking am Uber back from a museum. (her boot fell apart. Literally. Sole completely came off.) Walked back across Philly to a restaurant the three of us shared dishes, her and I tasted each other's drinks, and she ate my leftovers from my bowl (It was a noodle dish, with maybe 2-3 pieces left, so nothing much). Again, the sister made sure her and I were sat next to each other. Originally her and I were supposed to be getting drinks at a nearby pub, but she called it early that night, then again it was already like ~10:30 pm, and we were running around the city since 1ish....
  20.
  21. Then she was kinda cold and distant all of the second day. Later I mentioned how it was pretty funny with how I've known her for like 3 months and we went on a small trip together. But the she said I invited myself. Despite her saying it originally as something like "I'm going down to Philly with my sister, you can come if you want" later I mentioned the thing about talking more another, and she quickly said were just friends and that she thought it was clear. But in what world is."well talk more about it another time" a definite, clear answer? Especially since she seemed excited to talk about it in the past....
  22.
  23. By the time we got back to NYC, I wasnt really wanting to speak after that whole thing, so I just left her and her sis without saying anything. I ended up apologizing a few days later, but she didn't respond. Weirdly enough someone at work wanted me to message her for him, so I did. She then got back to me that night, and said "Ok thanks. I don’t mind that you just left. I need to focus on getting work/getting out of Long Island/getting to do more of the things I want to do. I hope you understand"
  24.
  25. I ended up saying that "I understand. If you want to talk, meet or hang out when things will be less busy don't hesitate to contact me." And that was like 5 weeks ago.
