2017 Plans

Update on 2017 for speedrunning

I've got plans for this year for speedrunning. That's it. Update over.

Anyways, real update. (Not posting a 2016 in review, because the year ended like shit)
I got an EZ-Flash IV after Christmas after some bad timing with my computer's processor/motherboard dying the day after I ordered it and the JP Gameboy Player. (Which is why I'm using my brother's shitty laptop, so RIP quality).
I'm using a Flash Cart because it's cheaper than buying carts, since it was the same price as a Pokemon FireRed cart. It also, doesn't emulate, so it's all good. Just tricks the console into playing a different cart.

Preface to this list:
I have no guarantees that I will get to all these games or learn them, but these are what I have interests in.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Eternal Duelist Soul All Cards (Gotta improve my WR, since it sucks)
F-Zero Climax (Very iffy, since it's fucking hard)
Pokemon FireRed Round 2 (Look forward to this)
Mega Man Zero (Don't know which one, but I like them)
Klonoa Empire of Dreams any%
LEGO Star Wars (Might not ever get to this, but it's p kewl)

So, I might be taking an extending break from Playstation runs to focus on this, which will be the first time I delve into another console. I'll most likely come back to any category that gets beat (which I don't see happening, tbh), or I get a PVM CRT and PAL PS2 with GT2 to destroy all the records and finish Gran Turismo runs for a long time.

UPDATE 2-17
I got an SP from a friend, so yay me.
The EZ-Flash can't seem to handle Yugioh 2006 well enough, so I'm going to have to buy a cart of it eventually, if I even care to return to All Duelists. Which means I would need to play through the whole game, which takes forever.

Pac-Man is going very well, as in, I could probably get WR from Joester98 (follow him, he does all kinds of Pac-Man games, and doesn't nearly get enough love as a speedrunner, tbh).

I'm crossing V-Rally 3 off the list, because I haven't even beaten it on my own, and I don't know if there any credits or an end.

There is something (casual) I want to do with a friend, whom I haven't mentioned anything to, or anyone for that matter. It's something really only related to our interests outside of speedrunning, but it's p kewl. I'll update on that if anything comes of it.

I keep getting sidetracked with other projects, so the GBA stuff is slow going, but I'm going to get to stuff sooner rather than later.
