  1. Online Petition: Wargaming, please fix the aircraft carriers in World of Warships!
  2. Discussion
  3.
  4. A global online petition has been created, asking Wargaming to finally fix the CVs.
  5.
  6. https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/wg-fix-cvs-in-wows
  7.
  8. While poll after poll shows the class to have a very low approval, and most players actively dislike them, currently almost every Random battle has one or two aircraft carriers in them.
  9.
  10. The petitioners consider two fixes acceptable:
  11.
  12. Either WG remove CVs from the game completely as a playable class of ships; or
  13.
  14. by whatever means WG consider appropriate and necessary, they limit the number of CVs in Random battles to a maximum of one per side across all tiers and bring down the percentage of Random battles with CVs participation, in line with the ships' approval rating among the player base, which is currently significantly below 20 per cent.
  15.
  16. Please support the petition!
  17.
  18. Here is what you can do:
  19.
  20. Sign the petition and share it across your social networks, web forums, clans etc. Hashtags #FixCVs and #FixCVsPetition - make it trend!
  21.
  22. Start exerting economic pressure on Wargaming.
  23.
  24. Show your support in public, for example by adding the prefix "FixCVs" to your in-game nick.
  25.
  26. Be creative - develop more fun ideas to nudge WG in the right direction and create publicity. And don't forget to share them!
  27.
  28. Always be mindful, respectful and goal-oriented. Every fellow gamer is entitled to his or her opinion. And in the end, it is Wargaming's prerogative to do what they please with their game. Hurling abuse or threats at WG or fellow gamers will not help our cause.
  29.
  30. Wargaming's business model rests on two main foundations: earnings from players who spend money on ships, premium time etc, and server population. There have to be enough players on the server to form teams and keep waiting times low. Free-to-play players (F2P) are therefore just as important for their business as paying customers.
  31.
  32. To exert pressure on Wargaming, you can take a break from the game, but you don't have to stop playing WoWs, at least not right away. You can stop playing battle types that have aircraft carriers and exclusively play modes without CVs, like Space Battles and Clan Battles. Should Wargaming fail to react within in a few weeks, we can always step up the pressure.
  33.
  34. Another idea would be to help create an unfun gaming experience in battle types with CVs. Belfast, Giulio, Kutuzov, Black, Asashio etc - use the "rare" OP premium ships. Go sealclubbing. Form cancer divisions. etc. etc.
  35.
  36. In any event though, you should stop spending money on the game until the CV issue is resolved.
  37.
  38. In this context, changing your nick by adding the prefix "FixCVs" seems a little contradictory since it costs 2,500 gold doubloons, which mostly need to be purchased with real money. It seems worth it though, for the publicity but also as a sign of good will toward Wargaming - and after all, the nick will need to be changed back again, once all this is over. In the end, our goal is not to push WG out of business but to improve the gaming experience for the majority of players.
