- Taking a deep breath.
- Eliphas lowered his head towards the chest before him. Contemplating about his life's decisions. About his strengths and weakness, about his failures and victories.
- Everything that he has achieved up until this moment. Everything that he has done, was it worth it?
- A heavy breath escapes his lips as he opens the chest before him. Lifting it's lid to stare at the various items inside.
- "It's time..." he spoke softly as he unclasped the buckles that held his sword at his side.
- After a series of buckles was undone, Eliphas held the blade in both hands before placing the weapon back into the chest as he finally came to a decision that he has long been striving for.
- With his recent defeat from Seth pyr Docro, and the many defeats that plagued him throughout his life.
- Eliphas came to a decision that he needed to start from the beginning, to go back to the basics and master them to furtherhis strengths, his prowess. His determination and to keep the fire burning brightly from within him.
- He needed to start back from scratch one.
- It was clear from birth that he knew that swordsmenship wasn't meant for him. Due to his weak constitution from birth, he knew he shouldn't have picked up the sword.
- Saga and Ethric had drilled it into him that it was training, that it was necessary to aid him with his disability.
- In the end?
- It paid off, granting him strengths and powers that he has never found before. Enabling him to reach new heights and enable himself to be placed on par with others.
- For all and ever more, the training regiment worked.
- But throughout all this time, he felt that hold a sword wasn't right. It didn't drive him forward in battles, nor did it happen throughout his daily life. He needed something else, something to help drive him forward.
- So he made the decision to drop swordplay, to move on to something he felt more keen towards. To drop the fighting arts and press on to something that felt more... natural to him.
- Sighing once more. He pressed his hands against the top of the chest before sealing the chest shut. Moving to lock the box with a key before moving away from the chest itself. Eliphas made up his mind to never pick up swordplay ever again.
