- [07:51] Amaranth's appearance is genuinely androgynous, and so Adelera's guess is entirely fair. The redhead inhaaales. Exhales.
- "Great. I get th' weird, broke-ass pervert then.."
- The scruffy redhead looks to Falk, tension easing in her gaze as she nods to him. He's got this, right? They've got this, surely. Aaand then her attention snaps back to Adelera and Toratori. Suddenly, there's a big stick in one hand. Chunks of metal haphazardly studded through its length. She smacks the stick against her open palm as a metallic clinking sound echoes around the cavern.
- "Bring it, weirdo."
- (Amaranth)
- [08:11] Even drakanites now were joining the ranks of Achyon's military these past few years, it seemed.
- "--... I gave you a choice, kiddo." Her response to Falk's barking was short and as her own magic, aggressive.
- A bad match, she thought. The scales that protected a drakanite were sturdier than most armors and for Adelera who happened to be a blood mage, this would prove to be quite a disadvantage for her.
- However, she had no fear.
- With Tidebreaker on her hands, the woman dashed to the young man's direction and her intent was clear, she wanted to see blood.
- Unfortunately, he narrowly avoided her attempt of breaking through his armor and scales. But that wasn't everything she had on her arsenal. Swiftly, she changed her form to perform a wide attack, which connected perfectly and injured her opponent slightly.
- But...
- She continued to push forward, landing attack after attack with no care for her own well-being.
- "Tsk!"
- Even if her opponent was way younger, he's still proved to have quite the strength as each and every attack dealt a lot of damage to the woman.
- "You could've just let me use the mines, why stop me?
- Now, you're fucked."
- Her eyes now had a red shade on them.
- (Adelera)
- [08:20] Falk stood his ground, not faltering for even a second. "Tch...choice?" he wiped any stray blood or sweat from his face. It seemed like a favorable matchup for the Drakanite: an opponent that let him rush in head first and lash out with his magic arsenal.
- He noticed the effects of his attacks on the woman's body and perhaps became a bit too cocky. In those final moments, he charged in headfirst and took every hit right to the front. He had managed to block those attacks using his scales up till now, but his own inexperience got the best of him.
- "Some choice." he growled, building up into an outright roar. "It'd be pretty fucked up if I came and shit on your people's laws and customs with such a shitty excuse!" he could feel Arthur shouting at him for his inappropriate language, but his anger had gotten the best of him.
- The dragon picked himself back up and regained his composure, feeling a bit silly for losing himself in the moment like that. He raised his fists once more and sighed.
- "Let's see then..."
- (Falk Ebner)
- Falk slammed a fist to his chest. Red draconic eyes beamed across the field at his opponent. "Pretty FUCKED huh? Did that beat any sense into that thick ass head of yours?" he roared, again losing himself to his anger and again hearing Arthur shout at him to watch his profanity.
- (Falk Ebner)
- Klaus could not be more proud...
- (Klaus Ebner)
- Leon wraps his arm around the shoulder of Klaus, clutching him in close before cheering, kinda like one of those football games.
- "THAT'S MY BROTHER! LET'S GO!"
- (Leon Ebner)
- Klaus brought out a handkerchief out of his pocket, raising it up to dab at his eyes while Leon wrapped an arm around him.
- "Honestly, he's growing so much..." he said.
- (Klaus Ebner)
- [08:26] Adelera says, "okay i won"
- [08:41] Toratori moved to crack his knuckles as he approached Amaranth.
- "I promise you. That this is about to hurt. Like a lot." he said playfully before rushing Amaranth.
- A burning inferno engulfed the Ookami's form as he quickly fired off wave after wave of explosive attacks upon the teen. Moving in close to cut them off, giving them no opportunity to escape as he delievered quick blows to their mid-section before kicking them away as a chain of metal came flying towards his face.
- "Huh..." he smirked as he danced away, now looking at the he-she with promise lingering in his eyes.
- Magic similar to Thorn eh? Shows promise.
- "Come on now. I know you can do more than that. Think about this like training. Like what would you do if your life was on the line." he'd joke once more.
- Toratori bounced on his toes, shadow boxing the air as he waited for Amaranth to get back to action!
- (Toratori)
- [08:42] Adelera says, "."
- [08:49] Hurt a lot was right. Amaranth lets out a squealed "Uaa!" of surprise as the Ookami threw flames at her, kicked towards her unprotected midsection.
- The scruffy teenager stumbles backwards, chains falling to the cavern floor as she is caught completely off guard with the Ookami's energy. Oh. Her coat was on fire. The youth squeals again ("uaa!") and quickly extinguishes the flames with a rapid-pat-pat-pat of stone-clad hands.
- Amaranth wasn't a soldier. But even so, she was here, doing her duty to the motherland! Even scruffy so-and-sos like herself could play a part as a cog within the war machine of the Empire of Barsburg.
- The shadow-boxing Ookami receives quite the stare, but the redhead finds herself multitasking, staring AND drawing the heavy chain back into her left hand. She swings it, gathering momentum, and her focus, in the process.
- No words. No smack talk. Nope, just a teenager with a big stick and a heavy amount of chain, out to beat the Ookami over the head with BOTH.
- (Amaranth)
- [08:52] {Won Aggressive RPB against Amaranth}
- [08:52] ** Toratori has inflicted an injury upon Amaranth. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "") **
- [09:13] The dragonborn fought valiantly. He was proud of his brother. It was the greatest fight he's ever witnessed from his brother, so excuse him for shedding a tear seeing Falk's progress. It was just heartbreaking to see that the young Drakanite was finally growing up, even going as far as to take a match from someone as strong-looking as Adelera.
- But that's all it was, appearances.
- When he saw that Amaranth has lost, he quickly came to her aid. He would stand in Toratori's way, drawing his blade.
- "You've committed an assault against an Achyon citizen," he said, his eyes glaring towards the Ookami. "and on top of that, you've done it in the mines." he said.
- With a look over towards Leon, he said "Good luck, brother. Dp try and capture 'em."
- He didn't want to waste too much time, so with a push forward, he would head straight towards the tailed person. His blade ready, he struckat Toratori with full intent to harm him. After all, he attacked his precious brother's friend. He couldn't stand for that. Oh right, he also committed a crime against Achyon.
- (Klaus Ebner)
- [09:22] After leaving Amaranth with a concussive blast to her back, he spun on his heels to turn and leave before Klaus came to him with their sword drawn.
- "You must have me mistaken for someone else." he replied now looking at the beatened Amaranth. "Was probably someone else."
- With a shrug, he'd attempt to move on his way but was stopped once more. "So we're going for Round 2?" he asked before he raised his hands for the battle to come.
- (Toratori)
- [09:32] {Won Aggressive RPB against Klaus Ebner}
- [09:32] ** Toratori has inflicted an injury upon Klaus Ebner. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "") **
- [10:12] Capture 'em.
- Frowning, Toratori knew from the start that he had to take this fight seriously. If the two of them were captured it, it might've sparked a conflict of such. Forcing two nations to be at the others throat.
- There was a lot at stake here...
- The tom-boy was one issue, but the situation was different now. This meant death if they were captured. Or possibly worse.
- Doubt clouded his mind as memories flashed back to the horrific event that happened in Shadowmire, his friends falling one by one, then himself. Almost dying underneath the crushing force of the blue ogre. The only emotion he had felt then was rage, and he had lost.
- Breath. Breath. Remember what Azar told you.
- The Ookami's thoughts went to the elder man who stood before him many months ago. Proclaiming to him that the only way to achieve complete mastery over fire was to have control of your emotions, because without that. He'd just be throwing around wild fires.
- This time was going to be different.
- As he raised his fists, he went after the Achyon guard with all he had. His flames gathering collectively around his fist as he rushed them. The inferno around him burned brilliantly as tried his best to control his emotions. Analyzing the patterns of Klaus's movement before countering their attacks and returning with his own.
- Viciously, Toratori delivered quick and swift blows as he flooded the cavern with explosions and flames. Shaking the very chamber that everyone had stood in. It wasn't wild blows, no. However they were concentrate and focused. Every punch thrown, every explosion targeted, every flame delivered.
- The battle was close as Toratori almost took a fall after being hit by Klaus. But instead of falling, he remembered what had happened last time. The last time that he let loose and fell. The last time he let all of his friends down.
- The flames that engulfed Toratori burned brilliantly as he spun around, concentrating all of his mana into his fist as his circuits burned within.
- BOOM!
- The cave shook from the pure force of his fist as it connected against Klaus's face. Sending them flying back through the waterfall before crashing into whatever laid behind it.
- Toratori's eyes grew as he looked from Klaus, to his burning fist. "Huh..." he softly whispered to himself. Was he capable of it? Was he truly capable of protecting those he loved again? Protecting himself?
- Smiling wide, he clenched his fist tight before releasing the inferno that blazed around him.
- Now he'd be able to help Adelera if she needed help, and this time. He knew that he was capable of saving someone. He regained his confidence.
- (Toratori)
- [10:26] There it was, a decisive strike that he had to take. But before his blade could reach him, the boy's blazing arm would begin to head towards him. If only he had a bit more reach. If only he had a spear with him at this moment, then perhaps, he would be able to deliver that decisive strike. But, the reach of his knife alone would not close the distance between them.
- A strike was delivered upon Klaus' face, burning against his skin. He could not help but wonder how it ended up like this. The strike was hard enough to send him flying, straight to the back of the cave. If it wasn't for the waterfall applying some remedy to his injury, he would most likely have his skin peel off.
- Well, now that he had some time to think, he realized that Toratori probably had a better reason to win that fight.
- If he were to win, then all that would happen would be his capture. He was certain of it. Regardless, he closed his eyes for a moment. Another loss against a fire user, that was certainly discouraging. He could not even count how many times he lost against them on the fingers of his hand.
- Regardless, there was no need for sitting around for this long. He may have suffered an injury, but he would walk slowly towards the battlefield again. He wouldn't go down so easily, even if he suffered an injury. Though, by the time he actually got back, perhaps the duo would already leave.
- (Klaus Ebner)
- [10:29] Adelera hoped her bolt with Falk would be enough to teach a lesson to those pigs from Achyon, however, there was at least another person who desired to stop them from entering the Kaor's lair. In her opinion, in the entirety of Esshar, those brainwashed soldiers definitively ranked high on her 'Who's the most stubborn group in Esshar?' tier list.
- Before she could say anything, Adelera was met by an enemy who used the school of magic she hated the most, magma.
- Holding tightly her own blade, Tidebreaker, the woman charged on her oponent's direction. She hadn't heard his questions nor his insults, right now her mind was entirely focused in taking him down quickly so Toratori and her could escape this stinky place.
- Nature was conjured to at least try holding Leon down together with a combination of both water and blood magic, a vicious combination. Tendrils made out of the putrid and corrupted water and also from her own blood ripped through the man's magma shell. However, it wasn't enough as he invoked volcanos that made the entire cave tremble.
- "--what the fu-"
- But she also had a few tricks under her sleeve.
- Having injured the soldier and made him bleed, now Adelera most unique technique was being in play.
- Bonds of Blood
- Her injuries were healed using Leon's essence and not only that, his own blood was being used against him as it was empowering the woman's techniques.
- "Take that, fucker!"
- In a desperate attempt to finish her opponent, Adelera charged and with great momentum, pierced through the waves of magma and also the explosions conjured by the soldier.
- Swishssh!
- Leon's right shoulder was stabbed using her mythril blade, however, that wasn't everything...
- Basically copying what Niffty did to her, Adelera casted a powerful spell that rotted the man's bones!
- Surely he would feel a lot of pain!
- "TORA! TIME TO RUN!"
- Then, she ran.
- (Adelera)
