  1. The eight worlds that are attached to the planet Corius are described below, starting from the Nexus, and progressing further into the strangest and most distant:
  2.
  3. ============================
  4.
  5. Nexus
  6.
  7. The hears of Corius, it is reached at the very center of the world, a large valley in the midst of the greatest mountain range of Corius: The Cordian Alps.
  8.
  9. While quite small at first sight, upon entering the mountain encirclement that protects the valley, it's size becomes apparent, a large complex, with tall buildings and walls, advanced technology, and even a river, which leads down the mountain slopes and out of the Nexus. Being a free-for-all location, where refuges of all sorts are accepted. The only force that maintains order, are the Guardians of Corius, who themselves are fairly fractured, yet by virtue of sharing similar goals an work well enough together.
  10.
  11. Typically, guardians gather into teams or companies, which typically have a set code of action, typically, again based around what worlds they act on the most, or what types of situations they intervene with.
  12.
  13. There is no typical hierarchy between the teams either, however there IS a clear distinction between members in charge, who are older, stronger, better connected, more experienced or otherwise superior in their ability to conduct their job to most of the others. These individuals take charge of parts of town, judge cases and organize city defenses, as well as help the installment of new technology from other worlds and with larger community events.
  14.
  15. In any case, these people tend to be natives of the Nexus as well, and belong to teams that tend to operate either in the Nexus or around the borders, being available often.
  16.
  17. The rest of the Nexus is in fairly good shape, with markets bringing in goods from all seven worlds, and the center of the city hosting foreign dignitaries and diplomats, generally being worthy of it's title: center of the world.
  18.
  19. Something of great importance to the city however, is it's Citizen's Code, a set of laws and regulations which are often very sternly held to, and anyone who breaks them often faces banishment or death. The Nexus is neutral ground, and no two people, native to different worlds may engage in combat, as a prime rule of the Citizen's Code. The penalty is often death. The reason for this is of course, an ancient incident at the very heart of the Nexus, where two important figures of two worlds engaged into a battle that damaged the city beyond repair, requiring most of it to be rebuilt.
  20.
  21. The location too was remade into a large forum for inter-world diplomacy to take place in: the Chamber of Great Voices.
  22.
  23. The other worlds, all link to the Nexus and are described below:
  24.
  25. =======~=======~=======~
  26.
  27. United Cities of H.A.T: A strange land, to the north, of large walled cities and the outside, a cold waste, where monsters and outlaws dwell. A disproportionate amount of conflict is resolved via battling it out with monsters sealed inside magical gems.

  32.
  33. Akala of the Warring Clans: Far to the south instead, a moving island-continent atop which twelve families have been granted power long ago, by mythical beings. To this day, their descendants wage war between one another, fragmented in small kingdoms.

  38.
  39. The Pandorian Empire: A vast empire, ruled by it's immortal emperor through the use of his fabled rainbow crystals. The whole world has been put under his reign, an endless age of order, prosperity and advancement for all of mankind. Some say that the law is exceedingly harsh however.

  44.
  45. Currod, Land of Rebirth: A very strange, eastern land, full of heroes and warlords and wanderers of any sort. A mysterious being periodically kills everyone but the greatest seven heroes and villains of every cycle, and elevates them as her followers. Every eight cycles, even these great spirits are replaced however. A hopeless, endless search for the greatest warrior.

  50.
  51. Horizon City, Gear: A city whose reach spans the entire planet, a vast spanning nation, that has even colonized the moon, and landed on distant worlds. Long ago, the world was assisted and ruled by the Ancients, yet humans rose to become too powerful and strip away the Ancients' power, and take it unto themselves. Suffering, death, starvation, hunger, all of these belong in the past. Yet even such a 'perfect' world has it's strifes it seems, internal turmoil threatening from the furthest edges of the planet. North of the Nexus.

  56.
  57. The Pit of Evil: A very unpleasant world. It is far to the east, and consists of the planet, marked by a massive pit, leading to the center. The land is unihnabitable, only the edges of the pit can support some little amount of life, but they are also the ones ravaged by monstrosities and inhuman creatures, an affront to the former existence of the planet. It is said that there is life, deeper in the pit, but only a native would really know and they are particularly difficult to come back.

  63. Land of the Battling Suns: Long ago, a visitor from the sky crashed on this land. The inhabitants took it apart, piece by piece, using it's flesh-metal to build their civilization, that spanned a continent, and even beyond. A great land, a greater nation, of tall temples and splendid buildings. It all came to a stop when the visitor awoke, and begun it's attack. It took over the towers and the cities, and all of the weapons. The only thing the people of the Land of Battling Suns could use at this point, were their souls.
