A Talk of Wisdom

The drama

Sighing heavily. Kyo found himself outside of Nostvale's walls. He needed a breather. As far as he could tell. A war was about to break out. No. Not the common kind. Tottaly no, that would be terrible. But the kind against his kind. The one who they spoke of. Ladon. The father/grandfather who had pureblood of his race. Then there was the one they spoke of called Alia. One who achieved being a pureblood through some unknown way. How did he know? Simple. By staying quiet and listening. Seeing how most things are done around here. Kyo kind of felt that he had to play more of a defensive role in this part. It seemed that being the rather loud mouth type and sprouting off words and calling others out for what they did most likely got you in trouble. Thats what he observed of course. But as for the people who stayed quiet. They didn't draw as much attention to themselves. Surviving. That they were, as for the talkative ones. It was ending out pretty for them. The quiet ones. They lived.

So yay quiet side.

Shaking his head, Kyo needed to find out exactly what that one girl had done. What had she done to be looked down upon his kind. More or less. How Ladon left his daughter and abandoned her. Was that a good father? His race was known for being a noble and prideful race. So Ladon had to have a reason in order to not come to rescue his daughter right Right?

But in the end. He had no clue. Certainly he had to go speak to one of them about it. The others in the crowd seemed rather. . . Sadistic. Pissy. Annoyed at the littlest things where as Alia and Ladon, his kind, seemed to be diplomatic. Reasonable. So perhaps it would be best to go talk to them right? Right?

He sure hoped so. If not, he didn't know who he'd go to for answers.

As for which side he was leaning to more. Probably Alia's side. She seemed to be blunt about things and not hold them back. As where Ladon seemed to be the type to hide things away to not embarrase another member or prevent loss of innocence. So that was something that he could use. But then again, overall. He had to talk to both of them. Ladon claimed to see Ryujiin. Their god. As for Alia. He wasn't sure if she knew much about their god. But he was sure that he could count on her for information.

Sheesh.

So much happening in such a little time. Frowning, Kyo turned to the water that trailed the walls of Nostvale. Looking down into the water. He lowered himself to the ground until he sat down. There he sprawled out his legs and let them hover above the water. Looking down at his own reflection.

"How do I get to them though. . . . . I barely see them around anyway. . ." he said outloud softly to himself as he stared at himself through the water

After having gone to the edge of the ocean to practice his control over the element of water as Sylvia explained to him and to have fought against Isaac, Ike was directed returned to Nosvale.

The boy walked with slow steps, while he had both hands behind his head and looked around . The scenery was something impressive, the birds sang, the sun was at its point and the temperature was warm but those that are nice.

Upon reaching the huge doors of the entrance of Nostvale, Ike's attention went to see a young man who was sitting watching the water that was around the walls of the city.

It was due to his face down and as his eyes looked at the water, Ike could see that the young man was somewhat sad.

He approached the young man cautiously. '' Ikka ... Hello? Sorry if I bother you but it is something happens to you? "He said in a calm, patient voice as he reached out to touch the boy's shoulder.

Being rather startled by the boy who spoke out behind him. Even went so far to place a hand upon his shoulder. Which caused him to flinch at first. But he settled himself down afterwards.

If the boy was actually a threat, he'd be pushed down into the water already. Or maybe even attacked. So it was quite reassuring to not feel any kind of aatack approaching him in any way.

Smiling awkwardly, he replied to the caring boy. "Hey... it's nothing much. It just seems like people hate my kind. Which makes me wonder. While we are so hated, why do we fight amongst ourselves.."

Turning the boy looks great although his face was like a boy something younger than Ike.

The young sarradian heard what the boy said but did not really understand much. About his Kind ...

'' Wait, wait what are you talking about? What's your kind? '' He said as he looked directly at the boy and raised an eyebrow.

Then he remembered that he had not presented himself and changed his face with a smile, "Oh forgive me for my bad manners," he said as he scratched the back of his head. '' My name is Ike and I'm a saradian, is a pleasure to meet you, '' the boy said as he pointed to his chest with his right thumb.

Then he saw the boy again, "Now explain to me what's wrong with you?" Said the boy with a gentle voice and a smile on his face.

The talk

It was unexpected to see someone in such high hopes at a time as this. It was kind of crazy in his eyes but he kind of understood it. It seemed to him that the boy had rather looked at the good side of things. Not the bad side. Which he could respect. Smiling, Kyo turned to Ike and remember that Ike isn't him. Plus Ike isn't a mind reader. So he'd have to explain his situation. What made him remember this was the look that the boy had given him. It was one of confusment. Which he could understand now.

Chuckling awkwardly, he apologize for being so vague about his situation. Then on top of that. He forgot to introduce himself aswell.

Standing up so he wouldn't be disrespectful towards the kind boy. He nodded and smiled as he introduced himself.

"My name is Kyoya Kamikaze. But friends call me Kyo for short! I'm also a Drakanite. Part Dragon part Human. explains my slitted eyes." he explained as he pointed at his eyes with his thumb. Dropping his hand to his side. He rubbed his neck with one hand as he tried to find a way to best explain his situation.

"Well. . . ." he started off with. " The Drakanite race has kind of been divided. There was this war a long time ago. Which kind of broke apart my kind and sent them all over the country. My kind is kind of. . . becoming extinct now. . . . So many people say. I can't say for sure since I haven't been all over the country as of yet. . . but who knows. . . They could be right..." he went on.

"But now, I found a few of my kind inside of these walls, and for some reason. There's these two families. One's purely Drakanite, the other is alot of other humaniods and one Drakanite. But that one Drakanite isn't really getting along with the family of Drakanites for some reason. Even at times of these. They fight against one another, and I can't help it but to think why. . . Especially when people talk sick about the Drakanite race and the one apart of the humaniod family just accepts it and brushes it off as if it was nothing. . . "

Ike listened in silence, trying to understand what Kyo was saying. Drakanite, he had heard about that Race but had not had the opportunity to know any, until that moment.

Then Ike crossed his arms and scratched his head, trying to think how to help this young man. '' Ikka ... I really do not understand much your situation, things like purity and fights is not common in those who are like me and the truth is that in these places there are not many of us either. It's a bad thing that your peaple fight so much but what can you do? "Ike said in a calm, soft voice.
Then he looked at the water behind Kyo. Losing his gaze in the magnificent way that water flows through the canal.

''Well, there's actually something you can do, just like the water in this waterway that's find his path to be free, The water is the element of change, you just have to work and grow to change those things and be free, show the world that the Drakanites are not bad." he said while looking back at him, smiling and giving a look of confidence to the Young Drakanite.

At that moment he remembered why he was training so hard to become a great magician, to change those things that he think were wrong in this world.

Wisdom.

It seemed that the boy was pretty wise for his age. He looked at thing in a postive manner. Even though Kyo's explaination was quite complicated to understand. It seemed that Ike had listened to the majority of it and heard him out. Which was kind of amazing if you ask him. The boy was kind in everyway. Something that you don't really see often in these times.

Through his explainations. He saw how he kind of confused Ike in some parts, so he tried to explain it even more. Which didn't seem to working as Ike really didn't understand the situation but that was okay. As long as he listened to him it was okay. It was nice to chat with some one. He enjoyed it.

"Yeah. . . I guess you have a point. I guess things are just meant to be the way they are huh?" he responded as he looked out towards the water. That's when Ike spoke a quite inspirational speech. More wisdom in truth. Smiling, he kind of understood what Ike was saying. To be free, which made a lot of sense, especially when he explained that he himself, could change how Drakanites are looked at. Which made him start thinking. He could probably change the world. Which sounded like a rather fantastic idea.

Returning his attention to Ike, he returned the same smile as he nodded. "Thanks Ike. . . I really mean it. I appreciate all the help man. It's been helpful" he explains as he takes in the words of what the young Sarradian said.

"So what will you do now?" he questioned. Not knowing if Ike had even a place to stay

 Departure.

Frowning, just as fast had he came. So he was gone. It was a weird mix, but he wasn't too surprised that the boy had left. After all. It was getting pretty late. Which, in his case. He needed to get back within Nostvale's walls. If he stayed out side any longer. He wasn't sure if they were even going to let him in. So turning on his heels. He went straight for the gate.

Of course, being stopped by the guards. He had to explain his situation and why he was out so late.

Hesitiant. But truthful, the guards allowed him to walk inside without any problems. So thats what he did. He just hoped that he could somehow find those Drakanites who were going back and forth before.

Maybe they could give him some answers
