  3. We’re using primarily American merit badges because general viewership skews American. Also Canada got rid of their merit badges in favor of a more 5e-based badge system. Go Figure.

  6. Athletics (Both)
  7. Athletics was one of the first Merit badges from 1911. Its requirements have very little to do with the D&D Skill though.

  9. Diplomacy (D&D)
  10. There are however various Citizenship merit badges- Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation and Citizenship in the Nation.

  12. Medicine (Both)
  13. The Medicine skill is closer to First Aid than it is to the Merit Badge- which is more of an introduction to the medical profession.

  15. Religion (D&D)
  16. Not a Merit badge, but there are some for looking at cultures and

  18. Basketry (Merit Badge)
  19. This is the first requirement- Explain to your counselor the hazards you are most likely to encounter while using basketry tools and materials, and what you should do to anticipate, help prevent, mitigate, and respond to these hazards

  21. Nature(Both)
  22. Nature is a knowledge type skill linked to Wisdom. It can be used to gather knowledge about the natural world. It’s also been a merit badge since 1952. It also has the most in common with the D&D Skill.

  24. Game Design (Merit Badge)
  25. Part of the requirements are to on the fly change the rules of a common game like basketball or kickball and see how that affects the gameplay. Live beta testing!

  30. Survival (Both)
  31. Teeeeeechnically it’s the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge but its the same thing and covers basically the same skills.
