  1. "You want to see the boss? He doesn't see just anyone, he's a busy fella. In the mean time, you're gonna have to play some mini-games..."
  2.
  3. King Dice is a multi-character moveset like Pokemon Trainer. Thing is, he has nine different underlings and you can't switch between them on the fly. One henchman for each stock King Dice has, which is normally three as that's the meta. When one is KO'd, the next one spawns. King Dice doesn't give second chances, unless there are 10 or more stocks in a match. Choose which minions and which order they appear like one does in the 3 or 5 Squad Smash, or select random in the settings for true gambling fashion.
  4.
  5. Tipsy Troop
  6. A trio of glasses containing different types of alcohol. All three attack as one unit and share a damage percent and stock, but take knockback individually and won't be KO'd until all three glasses are. They have various attacks that have hitboxes that spill their alcohol (which never runs out) and foes who are hit by these attacks build up a level of intoxication. Drunkenness impairs their movement and attack abilities but improves their constitution and strength, and the more severe their intoxication is, the stronger the effect.
  7.
  8. Chips Bettigan
  9. A stack of red, blue, and yellow poker chips with a cowboy hat. Chips' body is segmented and he both uses it and spreads it around for most of his attacks. This makes his hurtbox smaller and also more spread out over the stage, but his attacks are stronger in power if not spread out. Considering also the idea of having Chips' hurtbox be knocked into pieces when taking hits just like when attacking. This moveset is mainly inspired by Rool's Skeleton moveset.
  10.
  11. Mr. Wheezy
  12. A giant cigar resting in an ashtray. The set uses fire, ash, and smoke attacks, and the main playstyle gimmick is smoke which I will try to utilize in a non-obnoxious way (as in, not Sandslash). Smoke also inflicts a coughing status effect on the foe, entitled Secondhand Smoke, which can interrupt their attacks or movement. Currently I'm trying to work out how movement will be handled, as Wheezy has no legs and moved in Cuphead by teleporting between ashtrays.
  13.
  14. Pip and Dot
  15. A domino with two faces on it, which is actually a married couple sharing the same body. Playstyle is inspired by Washizu and is all about the game dominoes. There will be payoffs for winning dominoes that make it a good incentive, and right now the dominoes will form a large hitbox when won that acts as a KO move among other things. I will also include setting up dominoes standing to cause a toppling chain reaction because even though that's not what the actual game is about that's what most people associate dominoes with and it would be pretty fun to KO someone that way.
  16.
  17. Hopus Pocus
  18. A rabbit in a hat based off of stage magicians. Will be basically using attacks inspired by iconic magic acts and having a heavy mindgame playstyle. Illusions are all about diversion and seeing what the magician wants you to see rather than what's actually going on, so that will play a part in the set. Very unfocused in ideas at the moment, will probably do this one last.
  19.
  20. Phear Lap
  21. A skeletal horse and derby commentator. References Derby racing, an example of equestrian sports which is frequently bet on in casinos. Phear Lap is the target here and can fly while a ghostly horse race goes on on the stage below, and the horses are used for the majority of attacks. Playstyle here will be forcing the foes to stay on the ground so the horses can hit them.
  22.
  23. Pirouletta
  24. A roulette wheel that takes on the form of a ballet dancer. Playstyle will be inspired by roulette and positioning, while using small roulette balls as projectiles and spinning as attacks. Foes will want to pick a spot on the stage to avoid her attacks, winning if they land on the right spot or losing if they don't.
  25.
  26. Mangosteen
  27. A floating 8 Ball. Playstyle here will be based on billiards (pool) and knocking billiards balls into the foe for attacks. Trying to currently work out how to incorporate angles into moves so the pool balls will have something to bounce off of.
  28.
  29. Mr. Chimes
  30. A chime-holding monkey toy based off of claw machine games. Playstyle is grab-based with a claw grab like Roller Coaster Tycoon's that can grab foes, claw machine toys, or Mr. Chimes himself, and then toss them offstage like traditional throws, re position them, or throw them at other foes for kinetic damage.
