She's regularly organized events on behalf of the Ministry of Finance with the intent of helping the citizens of Arx keep calm and carry on, and seeing one of the most prominent nobles engaged it in has certainly helped. It also becomes known that with the assistance of the count and countess of House Riven, Thesarin and Mia, that house deepwood has supplied most of the prodigals that have bent the knee at Old Oak with livery and similar means to identify them in the coming battle... and a sizable force of former shavs sworn to Deepwood are coming south to fight, advancing upon the rear of the Silent Army.|/|/|-|h|!WCrown Princess Lark Grayson assembled an impressive team for fighting corruption and wielding the Crown's economic muscle during the ongoing siege to prevent hardship on the populace. She, Mydas and Karadoc all bring an enormous degree of expertise in economics that draw upon information provided by Gisele from her lifetime of research in order to effectively squeeze available resources. The Duchess Calista of Tor reaches out to numerous wealthy contacts to find additional support for the costs of the siege, and Juliet leans upon near everyone she knows in Arx for the same. The married duo of Laric and Cara research into any possible corruption, and while they only uncover minor cases, the high visibility of their policing abuse cases helps keep egregious violations to a minimum.|/|/|-|h|!WThe Iron Guardsman just known as Sparte has been attempting to popularize various drinking songs in the different taverns and inns of Arx and turn them into war songs, to show that life goes on. While the guardsmen himself doesn't have much talent in performance, his efforts do catch the notice of some Whispers who run with the idea, though the guardsman still gets credit. While the original intent might have been to mock the Silent Army and show them life goes on, it's unknown how the enemy views it. It does, however, help with morale in the city.|/|/|-|h|!WThe creation of the siege towers and scaling ladders and deployment of Brand's forces all across the spread of the North wall has not gone unnoticed by the defenders of Arx. The Silent Army intends to attack all three northern wards simultaneously and move over the wall and storm the Seawatch Gate simultaneously. When the attack comes, they'll be ready. (For Calypso, Artorius, Kima, Gabriel, Aiden, Aislin, Ailys, Barric, Peregrine, Eirene, Reese, Inigo, Estaban, Esoka, Caelis, Luca, Fiora, Ferrando, Dafne, Niccolo, Gian, Lucene, Zhayla, Tikva, Costas, Dante, Maude, Rymarr)|/|/|-|h|!WThe skilled apothecary, Valery Frost, has been busy through the siege working on poisons that might prove effective and particularly on smoke bombs that she supplies to Prince Darren Redrain. When the battle comes, there will be a good deal of chaos from those, hopefully.|/|/|-|h|!WDuke Harald Grimhall, the new Duke of Grihem's Point, has been key in organizing the defense of Arx by sea and its harbor in the Lower Boroughs. Ships flying the flags of Grimhall, Pravus, Nilzana, and Darkwater have been intercepting any possible threats to the shipping commerce of Arx, and more importantly boarding merchant vessels to search them for Bringers. Coupled with patrols in Lower Boroughs to secure tunnels or root out suspicious individuals, the Lower Boroughs and harbor are well prepared for any bringer attacks. Lady Carita and others reach out to many of the residents to smooth over the tension resulting from the methods, and avoiding any bloodshed in the Lower Boroughs. (For Harald, Calaudrin, Merida, Sameera, Dominic, Lianne, Belladonna, Alrec, Thena, Mae, Orathy, Valdemar, Octavia, Max, Ulfric, Carita, Archene, Seva, Leta, Serafine, Donella, Dagon)|/|/|-|h|!WUnder the leadership of Guildmaster Joscelin Arterius, the Crafters Guild of Arx works relentlessly at bolstering the defenses of the walls in preparation for the impending assault upon the city by the Silent Army. The number of catapults and ballistae have been increased dramatically, and salvage has been gathered by the guild to prepare for the attack. When the attack finally comes, the brave crafters will be ready to repair even in the heat of battle. (For Joscelin, Merek, Haati, Lyiana, Brier, Branan, Alarie, Acacia)|/|/|-|h|!WAll throughout the siege, Lord Tobias and his Crimson Blades have been a constant presence, a frequent sight patrolling the docks and trying to root out the Bringers of Silence hiding among the populace. The short, bloody skirmishes with Bringers help keep the city safe, and the mercenaries and Tobias himself are reassuring to a worried populace.|/|/|-|h|!WLord Killian Ashford leads patrols of the city attempting to ferret out any remaining infiltrators. With the assistance of Silas, Aleksei, Audric, Alistair, and Ainsley, the most alliterative force hunts down and slays numerous shards and a couple of bringers, and near everyone agrees immediately that the violence on the identified was warranted. It's actually a little alarming how quickly the populace says, 'Oh the Lord Commander of the Iron Guard killed him. He must have been bad.'|/|/|-|h|!WThe attack is coming soon. The northlanders are grimly aware of this, and Prince Darren Redrain, the Prince of Farhaven, oversees the improvement of defenses of the north wall with Redrain holding the center of a potential attack. Prince Anze Redrain, Tallius Oakheart, Princess Ann Redrain, Duke Asger Crovane, Princess Deva Redrain, Duchess Lydia Nightgold, and Morrighan all do their part in preparing the wall for attack, and bolstering the spirits of the northmen waiting for the hammer to fall. Prince Darren has made it quietly clear that they will hold the wall- to the last.{n
