<b>Species Explanation</b>
Star Dusts are rather self explanatory. They are stars who have fallen to the ground and taken on the appearance of a mortal life.
<b>Powers and Abilities</b>
<li>His light can heal others.
<li>He is amortal; meaning he can 'die', but his body disappears upon his 'death' and reappears in the area where he fell to the earth. The only true way to completely kill him is to take his heart.
<li>If he should fall in love and 'give his heart' to someone, they can be granted the same life span as him.
<li>His aura is warm and comforting, able to draw people in without anyone really knowing (including him).
<li>He can read auras of others since he can see the full light spectrum, which includes the light created by the energy people naturally give off. <b>Historical</b>
He wasn't sure when he began, not truly. He just knew that one moment he hadn't existed, and then in the next he simply <i>was</i>. At first he glowed too brightly. He even hurt his own eyes. No one else dared come near him. Then his light slowly died down to the point where he was still bright, but he wasn't harming so many who wanted to be near him, to investigate the new star in the sky.

As time passed and the other stars got to know him they gave him a name: Wei.

Wei enjoyed watching those who lived below him on the land. He found the creatures to be fascinating, though at times he also found them to be rather repugnant. Especially those who were entrusted with the lies of others, the ones to 'bought' others and were charged with caring for them, but in the end only harmed their charges. Wei didn't understand the truth of slavery in the least, but he was of the opinion that if you brought someone into your home you should care for them.

One day, during his second millenia of life, something slammed into him while he was turned and conversing with another star off in the distance. At first there was pain, just a little. Then the pain grew and he began to feel off balance. Then, he fell.

Wei didn't remember much of the fall, just a rush of colors the steadily got brighter and brighter the further he fell. Then he slammed into the earth, creating a crater that looked like it was created by a large boulder, not a man of 5 feet and 11 inches. It took him a while to get oriented, but he knew enough from watching the people on this land that he was able to manage. It was just a matter of applying that knowledge to himself. Eventually he got a job as a healers apprentice with an elderly healer who took pity on him. It was while he was helping bandage a patient that he learned he could heal others with his light. It was during an attempted burglary that he learned he could also burn others or bling them with his light. Both took a great deal of energy out of him. He learned to infuse his light into bandaging, poultices, and tonics so that a he didn't drain himself, but was able to help speed up healing or increase potion effects.

For a little over a decade Wei stayed with the Healer, aiding the old man as his apprentice and learning. Then the Old Man passed, and left his home, his tools, and the little practice attached to the house to Wei. He also left a note addressed to Wei, telling the young fallen star that he was the son he had ever had the chance to have. He also said that Wei had completed his training years ago, but he hadn't had the heart to let him go. Then he apologized for taking advantage.

So, Wei became a Healer, though he still taught himself from the books that the Old Man had left behind.

Once he fell, he simply became a citizen.
