- This is a rather odd topic for a lot of your audience. You conduct yourself like a Scientist, and handle your talk in such a fashion, but with a Cryptozoologic topic that could easily be misconstrued as ravings of a mad man. But given how you handle it most the crowd seems willing to hear you out, and you get the following questions during your Q&A
- 1) "Can you go back to the thing on created from our belief or something? What sort of mythos are we talking about here to cause this? IS there evidence out there of this worship at some point in our history?"
- 2) "The Joltik you mentioned - it reminds me of a riot that happened in Darkfeather around the time of the League Ball - heard there were Pokemon at the port that went on a tirade as well, and green lights from the light house." This guy just looks like another Explorer far as you can tell, "Was that related to these Gods at all? Far as I can recall there wasn't much coverage on what exactly caused it."
- 3) "What you're describing sounds less like deities and more like if the Easter Buneary or Santa were real. Supernatural beings that would be recognized and widely respected. Is this inaccurate? What about these beings demands that sort of acknowledgement?"
- ----
- By the end of your presentation, pretty much everyone who watched your talk looks like they were convinced of...something, at least. It's a rather huge topic to try to digest all at once, especially given the scale of it. Afterwards a few individuals even approached you - Explorers as well from the looks of it, from less known groups, asking if you could maybe show them where to find some of these locals - they seem really curious with trying to understand this and want to see if they can dig anything up themselves! That said, almost all your audience seems unsure just what to do with our about this information, and how it might effect them.
- Probably the most compelling thing to come out of this in the short term, is somewhere among people thanking you and shaking your hands as they leave - you find a note tucked into the folded cuff on one of the arms of your lab coat. Opening it reads 'The Uncle sends his regards. Good work.' It's hard to say in the short term what will happen here, but at the least, you've established a video that people will find when these things -do- come up in the future, and the initial reaction...while a bit skeptical, didn't end in you looking like a mad women!
