- >You see a manga at Natsuki's house that you saw the anime of
- >you really want to try it out so you ask Natsuki if you can borrow it
- >"of course not dummy, I'm reading it right now!"
- >you ask if you can borrow it after
- >"I guess... I guess I can lend it to you when I'm done. But only if you promise to read it right then!"
- >You were planning on holding on to it for a little bit until you had the time but you agree to start reading it right when she gives it to you
- >A few weeks pass and Natsuki messages you telling you she's going to walk to your house to drop off the book
- >You act content with the idea but you're eager to see her.
- >You occasionally peak through your window until she arrives and knocks on your door
- >When you open she has her right hand on her hip with the manga in it
- >She forks it over and you grab it
- >"Thank you Natsuki!"
- >She folds her arms and glances into the distant
- >"You better be thankful, that book better be in perfect condition when I come back!"
- >You look down at it and find the corners of most of the pages are curved or tattered
- >"It's not in perfect condition now, though."
- >She rolls her eyes and folds her arms again
- >"You ever hear that thing where when you go to the woods you should leave it better than it was when you found it?"
- >You're not sure how this analogy applies since you can't really make the book into any better condition but before you can ask she continues
- >"Is anyone here? Would you mind if I come in?"
- >You were happy enough to see her, even if she was just letting you borrow her book, but this is very pleasing to hear!
- >You tell her it is all good and you aren't doing anything, it's a lazy Saturday anyway
- >She seems pleased but tries to hide it
- >She enters and you both head off into your room and sit across from each other, you on your bed and her on the swivel chair at your desk
- >You talk for a few minutes and catch up before she asks "so, you ready to read?"
- >You didn't know she was planning on reading it with you, but you have no complaints
- >"Sure thing, Natsuki."
- >You lean against the wall on your bed and she sits beside you
- >The house is incredibly quiet so you talk in a very soft voice
- >Before you know it, Natsuki's head is slumped on your shoulder
- >Even though you're the only one conscious in this house, you give a kind of mental shrug and continue reading out loud, but now in an even quieter voice as to not stir the sleep of the sleepy Natsu
- THE END
