- +Hectic __ I am saying that what we saw in this clip is not proof of an earthquake and that upon scrutiny what we see in this clip at all times remains doubtable and dubious.
- For a start - who knows when it was even filmed. If you trust the timestamp (which can easily be added) then you will trust literally anything.
- *As it turns out we see the same kind of timestamp on many of the purported earthquake clips.* So were they all using the same kind of CCTV software or had the timestamp more simply been added?
- If the timestamp had been added then we could be watching literally anything.
- To speculate that they are all "paid actors" pretending to be in an earthquake seems like a logical thought to have if it isn't real but that is to take things too far.
- There is simply no way to confirm or invalidate such a suggestion. People do things for all kinds of reasons and not necessarily for money or acting credits. They do things because they are compelled to do them or because they believe in a cause etc. *There can be many reasons why but we cannot know anything about them.*
- Just because we cannot know the reasons for why people would do some "street theatre" does not mean we are looking at a genuine scene.
- If what we see can be achieved by shaking some wires and people behaving in a coordinated way ("street theatre") then we are not seeing proof - *we are seeing proof's appearances.*
- If you believe the alleged "Nepal earthquake" happened then ultimately it is not because you saw sufficient proof (that which necessarily proves an event really happened or a claim to be true). *Your belief has instead been founded and formed on trust and accepting (or mistaking) proof's appearances instead of actual proof.*
- A person is entitled to have an opinion that the earthquake happened but because they have not seen sufficient proof (note: genuine footage attributed to this event will be found to have come from *prior* genuine events) their belief is not justified via sufficient proof. Therefore that person is not entitled to assert it as a fact about reality etc.
