  1. A brief history of the latter years of the First Realm. All years in Anno Imperii.
  2.
  3.
  4. 6098: The lost prophecies of the Fourth Eagle are unearthed by Realm scholars in the ruins of the Kadesh’an Preceptory, sparking off the Absolution War
  5.
  6. 6105: The Absolution War ends as last of the Iyrin escape through a holy doorway to worlds unknown. It is feared at the time, to the legendary paradise of men.
  7.
  8. 6302: The personal magic journal of Astraea Aurum is discovered in the vaults of the library of Zuerst and deciphered by her distant descendents, paving the way to the rediscovery of the millennia-lost secrets of demonic portal construction
  9.
  10. 6311: Demon Lord Ivodea Aurum attempts to open a gate with demonic magic for the first time in nearly five thousand years, accidentally unleashing the Chuul into the heart of the First Realm
  11.
  12. 6315: The short reign of Sabia Aurum ends with the succubization of the Chuul and the balkanization of the last province of the Realm, leaving only the Queendom of Zuerst and the capital of Noviarce in blue hands.
  13.
  14. 6334: The Chuul War concludes when the last Chuul enclave is exterminated within the borders of Cor Durum. Sporadic fighting in the surrounding outlands and provinces of Gypt would continue for years.
  15.
  16. 6437: Cassia Aurum is crowned First Lord and begins the Reunification Wars
  17.
  18. 6439: The first extra-worldly prophet in two thousand years, the Fifth Eagle, appears in the powerful independent citystate of Rhoam, confirming the existence of the world of men to modern monsters
  19.
  20. 6652: First Princess Acaena Aurum defeats Prince Edmund Orrin, the Red Knight of Rhoam, and conquers the last free city, restoring the borders of Cor Durum and ending the Reunification Wars. Shortly thereafter, she marries the Prince against her mother’s wishes and is removed from the line of succession. New laws are imposed on the Realm to protect the ever-dwindling population of men, but greatly limit their freedoms.
  21.
  22. 6656: Demon Lord Ivesia passes away, and the crown passes to her second daughter Silene Aurum. The new First Lord increases her mother’s restrictive policies, fomenting unrest among veterans of the Reunification Wars and the Realm’s human quarters
  23.
  24. 6658:The former First Princess Acaena, now Duchess of Darkwater, becomes a rallying point for discontent as she attempts to secede from the Realm after years of calling for equality among all Argan people. Demon Lord Silene declares it an act of war and accuses Edmund Orrin of poisoning her sister against the crown.
  25.
  26. 6662: After a grueling campaign, Duchess Acaena Aurum’s forces are finally defeated. The Duke and Duchess are brutally executed. Castle Zuerst along with the entire surrounding city are razed to the ground. Their only child, Aracea Aurum, is secreted away and imprisoned by her Aunt, former Third Princess Royena Aurum, for her tremendous magical potential.
  27.
  28. 6691: Royena’s decades of experimentation finally bear fruit when Aracea successfully opens a stable portal to the second of the five living worlds, the shifting magic morass later coined Con Carroll
  29.
  30. 6699: Aracea Aurum discovers the legendary Telis Homini, the world of men. After opening the portal, she escapes her imprisonment and flees through it, taking the secrets of navigating to the third world with her. The gate remains open, and her work unreplicated.
  31.
  32. 6700: Demon Lord Silene assembles an expedition to explore the gate. What they report back is beyond any monster’s wildest dreams and their most terrible nightmares. The first farlander men are captured and brought back to Arga. The First Lord proclaims her divine right to rule over the farlanders and her intent to save humanity from itself. The Contact War begins.
  33.
  34. 6701: Aracea Aurum, the Gatemaker, shares the secrets of subgate travel with loyalist remnants from the former Duchy of Darkwater. Allying with key surviving farlander nations, they bring the war to Argan soil.
  35.
  36. 6702: The Empire of Gypt invades the greatly weakened borders of the First Realm in order to secure access to the Gate. Demon Lord troops, after terrible campaigns against men at home and abroad, must now watch their homes be conquered by their ancient enemies. First Lord Silene slowly descends into greater madness as her country falls apart around her. The army revolts, and Silene is deposed. The new regime of the Gatelands calls for an end to hostilities and an alliance of mutual survival with the world of men. A tentative coalition is formed, the Greene Accords, what would eventually become the PDC. The Contact War officially ends and the Gate War begins.
  37.
  38. 6703:Port Babylon is founded in the radioactive wastes around the Gate, acting as a crude hub for troops and material flowing to and from Arga. Distant Zippangu joins the war on the Gypt side.
  39.
  40. 6705: The first Argan refugee settlement is established in the world of men near what would become Cohabitation Zone 1, better known as Monstergirl City.
  41.
  42. 6706: A massive fleet of unknown ships anchors off the Scaled Coast of northern Gypthan. All contact is lost with villages near the event. Eventually, it is discovered an army of the dead marches on the empire. The Dead War begins.
  43.
  44. 6707: Pharoah Raet II is assassinated by her turned apophis vizier. Most of the royal court and palace staff are murdered in a simultaneous attack by other undead that spreads into the capital. The resulting collapse of central authority effectively fractures the empire. Individual provinces struggle to coordinate their troops against both Coalition forces and the dead. Within the year, most have established new governments and sued for peace with the Coalition or have been destroyed. Zippangu is the last great power to stop fighting the farlanders, only ceasing when they are guaranteed good settlement terms and eventual membership in the Coalition. The Gate War officially ends.
  45.
  46. 6708: Gyptia and Gypesh are probationally admitted into the Pan-Dimensional Coalition. The undead now number greater than the living in Gypthania, Gypthar and Gypthan
  47.
  48. 6714: The last stronghold of the undead on the continent is eliminated by a battlegroup commanded by the flying fortress Lilia Argenta. Small skirmishes would continue in the deserts for decades to come.
  49.
  50. 6439: Howler
  51. 6728: Graystorm
  52. 6749: Harrison’s Girl
  53. 6780: Vengeance
