Returning through the gate you had left through, Dorai presents the Prince's badge to the guards and you are let in, at which point he walks the rest of the way.]

In the morning, you find light coming through the windows of the room, only from lanterns put up on the eaves around the building, and the sounds of a distant gong being rung rhythmically.]

The colours of many other lords are present, though the Oyashiman guests converse amongst themselves in their own language, leaving the Wayward to themselves.]

  108. [4:14:10 PM CST] <[Cy]> Eucasia: Indeed? Were you asked to?
  109. [4:17:09 PM CST] <[110]_Hanne> No, we told Tapajiyou we'd be going out to look but really it was more to look at the town. Didn't think we'd actually run into him, honestly.

  131. [4:37:01 PM CST] <[110]_Hanne> Well, the Prince's guard did the actual carrying.

  135. [4:41:33 PM CST] <[110]_Hanne> We discovered the Prince in a private room of what I think was a teahouse? Anyways, he was unconscious and had only one guard with him. Apparently, the Prince had been poisoned. While we were assessing the situation, a fire started in either the teahouse or a nearby building. Eitherway, it had spread to where we were and forced us to exit the building with the Prince.

  137. [4:44:59 PM CST] <[110]_Hanne> Like I mentioned, the guard carried the Prince out while we accompanied them as... security I suppose. Good thing too; on our way back we were attacked by assassins. Disciplined too, one of them didn't even flinch after Lilaa buried a dagger into them. Immediately withdrew when they realised we weren't pushovers.

It seems to me that the fire, if intentional, was to kill you, our host, and any witnesses. But given how long you were looking, those who wanted our host dead probably did set the fire and tried to finish the job once they saw you had escaped.

The prince himself, however, was not seen, though word on the wind assured gossipers that he had recovered from his ordeal. The

However, the outer city guards are too numerous to have been reliably informed, so you are

On the fourth day, Tapajiyou arrives to inform the Wayward that the allied lords have identified likely culprits responsible for the attack on Prince Gomonbaru, and ask you to participate in a reprisal raid.]

  179. [1:20:47 PM CST] * [110]_Hanne shouts instructions to Sindr as she watches the girl practice with her spear. In a small courtyard which they've taken as their training ground, Hanne circles around Sindr as the girl repeatedly thrusts the weapon at an imagined enemy.
  180. [1:27:13 PM CST] * [Multi]_Lilaa catches the scene as she walks by a portal to the courtyard. She emerges from it, staying to the side to watch the lesson.
  181. [1:33:57 PM CST] * [110]_Hanne watches Sindr; taking note of her mistakes. After Sindr performs several more practice attacks, Hanne grabs the spear; forcefully adjusting its position with Sindr's hands still grasped around it to demonstrate the proper stance..

The details have not been finalized yet, but it did not sound like we were taking more risk than the rest of the forces; it is quite the daring plan as well, to hit all the holdings of the second prince simultaneously.

The second prince has much to prove as he has a chance to become the crown prince, and putting down Prince Gomonbaru's petition, seen by the opposition as introducing instability during Oyashima's recovery, would be good for his image.

I would not advise it.
