Why they want me to go to India?

Another possible reason people want Chester to go to India.  After the truth has gotten out, a lot of people are going to feel uncomfortable with Chester around and will feel ashamed and embarrassed.  With Chester out of the way, these feelings won't be there every time they see him.  Then when Chester is in India, have him killed?

So the people that would feel awkward about this would be the medical profession, the doctors, the chemist shop people, members of the public, father and his relatives.  With Chester out of the way, they won't have to face up to the truth or face the consequences or face any negative emotions or public outcry or backlash.
