Lesson with Saga on spiritmancy and wayfinding!

[18:59] Eliphas smiled as he stood beside Saga ontop of the TempleCastle.

Crouching low, he laid his elbows against his knees as he stared off into the distance. His lips parted, releasing a cool breath as he shuffled his hands together.

His sapphire blue eyes turned to the attention of Saga as she spoke.

"It's okay Miss Saga." he smiled kindly. "I know that you've been busy. After all..."

His words faded as he nodded his head rune-engraved tower that stood behind him. "Don't feel as if you aren't trying your best, but if you could make time to help me in my studies, or teach me more about swordplay every once in a while I would appreciate it."

A playful smile came about as he moved to remove his rucksack from his back!

"Oh! The Chieftain of Moxtli taught us a lot about Wayfinding actually! I was hoping if you could help me with it if I'm being honest!"

His tone growing everenthusiastic!

"That is.. If you have time of course. You can always help me with it later. After everything is done of course."

The Aegeus's smile softened, he knew full well that Saga was an important figure amongst the Magi in Esshar, her abilities was known far and wide and with her moving to create a floating utopia? Well, it just meant that she was always busy!

"Anyway, what we learned in class was..."

Eliphas went on about how they learned that wayfinders used the lifestream to transport themselves or others. He provided his notes and transcripts he handwritten about the several incomplete invocations they were provided in class, along with the several theories of how wayfinding could be achieved. Arithmetic's were shown, along with other wordings of ifs, ands, and buts. Completed with a neat design of vectors and shapes of Esshar. Along with notes of places he planned to place anchors to help him wayfind in the near future!

"and the Professor gave us an assignment to find a medium to use in order to attempt to Wayfind! He gave us a hint to use a waystone but those are apparently hard to come by." he giggled to himself. "Although- Oh!"

Just as he was about to continue on with his own theories, two of the Aerta's came to their attention.

He moved to place his notes back away in his rucksack before offering the two a wave.

"Hey there guys!"

[18:59] She looks over at the Aertas brothers and nodded, moving back to Eliphas and listening to his explanation of his experience in the classroom.

"Well, that is something that I am able to help you with. It took be quite a bit of time to learn to Way-Find but over time I managed to master it."

She rolls up her sleeve, revealing the tattoos that she marked on herself to enable her wayfinding to happen on the fly.

"Creating an Anchor takes more than just runes, having the memory locked into your mind is important. An important fact about way-finding is the position that you're in, during the moment of your jump."

"It's simple to think of a location and move there, but you have to think about how much of yourself you're moving. You innards, your circuits, the position that you will be in when you land."

She didn't want to overwhelm him with information, but she was going to ensure that Eliphas understoodthe meticulous amount of work that was required to way-find successfully. It was going to be difficult indeed.

[18:59] Sapphire blue eyes fell towards Saga as the Aegeus moved to stand. His natural playful smile appeared against as he eagerly stepped towards Saga with his book now in hand.

His mind raced! He always enjoyed spending time with her, after all! She was the closest thing that he thought was family. She looked after him, as did Ethric. Both in the place of his past mother and father. The two figured who he heard fought valiantly and lived their life the way they wanted until they took their final breath.

He knew that the two were big figures as well, especially his father. One was known for being able to manipulate time and bend it to their will, while also being able to split the earth and create volcanos at their call! The other was known for being a magi who was capable of using cosmic magic, that being said, they were able to draw power from a star they were connected too! Ontop of being imbued with the power of holy magic, a magic so strong that if a magi were advanced enough; they could potentially learn a more powerful tier called white magic. The details of that ability was unknown to him, but he was definitely curious about it!

As for Saga? He could go on and on about their accomplishments and feats! Their knowledge was vast and to this day? He considered them to be one of the fastest on Esshar, if not Eternia! And as for Ethric? Well, they also played a part in where he received his polite etiquette and mannerism. Both Ethric and Saga helped groom him and helped him become the man that he was, and he only hoped that he could live up to their expectations one day.

He had big shoes to fill... and it made him extremely nervous as he continued to try and strive to live up to those expectations!

Moving to open his notebook, he quickly withdrew his rune-engraved pen as he began to jot down Saga's words on the paper, making quotes on the side to further detail each key note of the information he was given.

And when she mentioned how creating an Anchor was more about runes, he rose his head to look upon her tattoos! Noticing how she had markings similar to Chieftain of Moxtli!

"Could you help me create a medium as that Miss Saga! I'd like to have tattoos just like yours!" he paused as he thought about his prior lesson. "The Chieftain spoke about how there was different ways to create a medium! Such as using tattoos like yourself, a tome, or even engraving the runes one a weapon to use in combat!"

The Aegeus was practically bouncing in place with excitement as he looked at them with a hidden drive. He was determined, motivated even to become the best. He always studied and was always seen with a book with his hand, and with Saga and the rest being his mentor! He was sure to master this in no time!

"Yes, yes! The Chieftain said something similar! Granted he didn't go THAT into detail about the matter at hand. But... he did go over some complications that if done wrong or incorrectly, you could find yourself inside of a wall! Or on the other side with something missing!"

Dropping his head once more into his studies, he wrote down some more theories inside of his book before raising his head once more!

"Also, if you have time, after this.. if your not busy of course! Could we go over some lessons about spiritmancy? I know that you help me with it from time to time, and I make sure to go over the notes we've made, but I'm afraid that I'll fall behind one day."

[18:59] "Well, I can imagine that Thorn's lesson would be a bit improvised, he has always had a natural gift to wayfind, he and his father are both masters."

"Knowing the limits of traveling through the lifestream is important because it is possible to damage it, you have to know where you need to go, every intimate detal and create an anchor that binds you back to the physical realm. As we move through the lifestream, we convert ourselves into energy into mana so that we may flow through it effortlessly."

She watched his enthusiasm increase, it was nice to see, it was nice to see that he was wanting to learn more about the nature of the world around him.

"The spirit realm and wayfinding are tied deeply together, the lifestream itself is designed to take souls and direct them to their destination. Be it the stars...or even hell, it is a complicated process that not many truly understand. We move about the world and try to know the inner machinations that drive it, that binds it all together."

She was going into a lot, but this was necessary for growth.

"I have another who is like you, wanting to know the nature of the spirit world that surrounds us all. Both of you will learn and grow...the spirit world and spiritual energy is..very interesting."

18:59] "Oh? So Mister Thorn is the name of the Chieftain of Moxtli?"

He paused as he moved a hand to his mouth to cover his laughter from Saga mentioning that the lesson was probably improvised more than anything else!

"Well he did show up an hour late to his own class!"

Pausing, his sapphire hues looked over Saga once more. Proud at the fact how he met such a wonderful figure, he was truly happy that his parents had met such a credible figure. He couldn't imagine being in anyone's hands but hers.

He just hoped that he wasn't an annoyance at times, hence why he never moved to ask for more than what was necessary. She was always busy after all!

"It's interesting to know that they are both masters of the art, especially since the Chieftain is quite silly at times." he laughed. "But they do seem to have a talent, it probably runs in their family."

Moving his hand once more, he pressed his pen into his notebook as it effortlessly glided across the paper. He couldn't help smile as Saga had answered a question that Thorn had failed to give.

He forgot to mention that the point 'B' that he referenced too previously, or the second anchor that you create in layman's terms; had to bind them back into the physical realm. Something that he actually grew a bit upset about as if he were to attempt it himself just off of their words, he probably would've ended up lost in the lifestream with no return!

"Mmm, now that I think of it. That does seem pretty logical, unfortunately Mister Thorn forgot to tell us that we had to bind ourselves back to the physical realm with the second anchor. Thank you again Miss Saga!"

As Eliphas continued to write, he found himself laying on his stomach as he pen danced away!

Eliphas began to twirl his pen between his fingers as he cupped his cheek with his other hand. "So in a way, it's possible to reach the spirit realm through wayfinding? Or atleast a point of it? Maybe like a point of convergence?" he randomly thought outloud by drawing his own theories in his head.

"Oh! I'd definitely like to meet them, It's always fun learning with others. Especially when they have an interest so we can both draw on each others ideas and theories to make a more profound conclusion!"

A hum escaped his parted lips as he continued to run calculations and theories of how he could he be able to conjure such a thing, but he knew it was possible. Saga was one of the prominent figures of Esshar who could single handedly prove that anything could become reality, you just need to take it step by step until you reach your destination!

"Thank you for taking the time to teach me Miss Saga." he smiled. "Out of everyone? I enjoy spending time with you the most." he hummed as his digits tapped away at his cheek in a rhythmic pattern.

"So! What's their name?"

[18:59] "Their name is Nathan, and I appreciate you saying that. Whenever you need anything you can always count on me, I will be there to take care of you, always believe that!"

She needed to make sure that the young one wasn't too adventurous at the moment, she was going to need to ensure that he was kept safe from the vampiric threat.

At least he was safe for now, while the threat was directed towards Osrona, he lived here in the Academy, as a student and as a ward.

"They, have a different understanding of the world due to what they were taught, but they are willing to learn more about the nature of the spirits. He is a little strict...since he is from Achyon, but I want you to at least try to be polite to him."

She wouldn't tell Eliphas about how she and Nathan on how they met...well, how she maimed him at least. That would be a story for Nathan himself to reveal in the future.

"For now, I'm going to turn in fora bit, but before I do, I'll make you a weapon for you to practice. Come along"
