<Lossok_Grundback> "Then make sure Declan isn't wasting his time bringing the steamjack along."
* Aynfean_Dymytryou nods "I was hoping to stay in the warm a little longer...but fine."
20:26 * Lossok_Grundback straps on his armor and holsters
20:31 * Aynfean_Dymytryou makes it back fourty minutes later
20:33 <Aynfean_Dymytryou> "He will fit...mostly. Manuverability is another thing entirely."
<Alexei_Strang> "Perhaps we would be better leaving him here then?"
20:34 * Alexandra_Kalashnova glances over towards the shop. "Would Declan allow it?"
* Lossok_Grundback sighs. "Wouldn't be an issue if we had a Gunner or Blaster...."
<Alexei_Strang> "Just phrase it as the environment making it easier for Donnie to be damaged."
20:35 <Alexei_Strang> "It has the benefit of being true."
* Lossok_Grundback shrugs. "He'll get more upset if Donnie gets wrecked down there. I'll tell him to leave it behind."
20:57 <Lossok_Grundback> After a brief argument with Declan about Donnie's presence during this job, Lossok gathers the mercs (sans Grin, who appears to be missing again) and heads over to the sewer entrance.
* Alexandra_Kalashnova gets her armor on, her sword prepared, and focuses her mind on the cold. Today is a good day for a job.
20:58 * Alexei_Strang suits up in his custom-fitted armor, straps his sword about his waist, and grabs his gun.
* Aynfean_Dymytryou is already prepared, munching the last of the breakfast. Can't let it go to waste.
20:59 <SpaceThor> The trip takes only about ten minutes to get there, and soon you are all standing before the entrance to the sewer, just outside the south wall. The sewer does indeed seem large enough to house Donnie, but as Aynfean said it would be tough to get one of you to squeeze around it if you had to. The entrance fades quickly into darkness, though there is a gas lamp hanging from a hook just outside the entrance.
21:00 * Lossok_Grundback takes the lamp and heads into the murk
21:02 * Aynfean_Dymytryou  draws a pistol and follows Lossok
21:03 * Lossok_Grundback has the handcannon in hand, and the lamp in the other
<SpaceThor> The tunnels are wide and dark, and the frozen muck cracks beneath your bootsteps. Soon, you are at a turn in the tunnels. You may go straight ahead, or you may turn into a branch to the left.
21:04 * Lossok_Grundback checks the left branch
<SpaceThor> The branch seems to go on some ways, before curving to the right. Continue?

21:06 <SpaceThor> This branch continues, then opens into a large room. There seems to be water in here that has not frozen, and some light filters in through a small grate in the ceiling. It appears to be empty.
21:09 * Lossok_Grundback motions to the others to hold up. "Does anyone have a stick handy?"
21:11 <SpaceThor> There is a nearby joist of iron pipe nearby that appears to have broken off of something. Hard to say what.
* Alexandra_Kalashnova frowns. "No, Captain, I don't."
21:12 <Alexei_Strang> "I don't carry sticks around, Captain."
* Lossok_Grundback picks up the pipe and tries reaching for the object in the water
21:13 <SpaceThor> Poking the objects gets you close enough to determine what they really are....they seem to be the constituent parts of a Swamp Horror, or what's left of one anyway. Not nearly enough there to make a whole one.
<Lossok_Grundback> "That's disgusting." Lossok retracts the pipe. "Nothing down this way, I think, unless someone wants to go swimming."
21:14 <Aynfean_Dymytryou> "I shall pass."
<Alexei_Strang> "Likewise."
21:15 * Lossok_Grundback nods and heads back towards the sewer junction
<SpaceThor> The sewer junction is just as you left it. Cold, quiet, and dark.
* Lossok_Grundback leads the group down the other path
21:16 <SpaceThor> Going straight a bit further leads you to another junction, this one to the right.
* Lossok_Grundback motions to check the right junction
21:17 <SpaceThor> You do not make it very far before you find the rotting corpse of another Swamp Horror, this one seeming to be in a similar state of decay as the one you killed, but less...animated. It is blocking further progress down this path.
21:18 <Aynfean_Dymytryou> "I am wondering what killed them."
* Alexandra_Kalashnova quirks an eyebrow. "Hmm."
<Lossok_Grundback> "I'd like to know how they got down here in the first place. This many of these things? I doubt that's a coincidence."
21:19 <Alexei_Strang> "Quite, Captain."
21:20 * Lossok_Grundback reaches briefly for the flare gun, but decides against it. "Let's keep exploring."
<Alexandra_Kalashnova> "I'd liek a moment ot examine it, if you don't mind, Captian?"
21:21 * Alexei_Strang frowns a bit but says nothing.
* Lossok_Grundback quirks an eyebrow. "If you believe it would assist us. Don't dally on it too long, though."
* Alexandra_Kalashnova nods, going over to have a good look, moving bits of it with her sword.
21:25 * Alexandra_Kalashnova stops after a moment, nodding. "Nothing unexpected, Captain. Let's move on."
<Lossok_Grundback> "If you say so." Lossok leads the group back to the junction and heads further into the sewers.
21:26 <SpaceThor> After another ten minutes or so in dark, inky silence, you reach the end of the main tunnel. All that remains is a junction that turns off to the right.
