  5. The United Heroes MUSH meeting room is simple, yet elegant. To the left,
  6. there is a glass wall, which seems to alternate in wide vertical stripes,
  7. white and a soft green, which curve up into the ceiling. The reverse is
  8. true of the right, except the pattern is only in the ceiling, as there are
  9. four large windows along that wall. The front and back of the narrow room
  10. are similarly coloured and contoured.

  12. In the centre of the room, which has a soft black carpet, there is a long
  13. white desk, with comfortable chairs with grey accents. The centre of the
  14. white table has a grey glass base, on which fresh flowers, hot and cold
  15. beverages, and plates of biscuits and other snacks sit, ready for anyone
  16. to partake.

  144. Diana Prince says, "Look, let me tell you all something. Claremont was my friend. Someone who I enjoyed to interact with a great deal. Someone who I RP'd with a great deal. I loved his writing and I often enjoyed his personality to a degree that kept me hanging around him. But there's a side of him I always saw, a side of him that I experienced personally. It is an insatiable side that is slanted toward adult interactions. I always knew that it would be a problem on this game, but I wasn't sure how to go at it. How to approach it or deal with it. Now I've come to a point hwere people come to me for help and I have to try to help them. And through that, I have to try to point at these things that have happened / are happening to me as proof of this over arching issue that is rooted in absolutely gross over-use of Control."

  274. Rogue was primarily raised by her aunt, Carrie Carlyle, after tragedy befell her parents when she was six years old. Rogue's mother and father disappeared during a strange accident at a party one night on the Commune that they lived on. Both of her parents disappeared into a mysterious portal created by an unknown mutant, leaving their daughter behind and alone.

  276. Mystique was there the night that Anna-Marie's parents vanished. She witnessed the entire ordeal and she took Anna-Marie in and escorted her to live at her Aunt's farm in Meridian, Mississippi.

  278. But the overwhelming grief of the loss of her mother and father caused young Anna-Marie to misbehave regularly and run away from home on many different occasions. It was these actions that lead her Aunt Carrie to first refer to the girl as "Rogue" and Anna-Marie willingly adopted the nickname.

  280. Rogue's mutant power first manifested, in her early teens, when she kissed Cody Robbins. Her mind filled with his memories, and he fell into a prolonged coma. The events that followed this, with Cody's angry family and scared townsfolk rallying behind them, led to the final time that Anna-Marie would run away from her aunt's house... to seek comfort in the friends she'd made away from home, namely Raven Darkholme, who had stayed in contact with Anna-Marie ever since the night of her parents disappearance.

  282. Here she fell in with a group of mutants calling themselves the 'Brotherhood'. Their leader, Mystique who had particularly taken interest in Anna-Marie, taught her about her powers and helped instruct her on how to best use them, Rogue felt more at-home and happy than ever before.

  284. Over time, Mystique began to sway Rogue's trust and coaxed the girl into participating in her criminal endeavours. On her first mission, the inexperienced Rogue clashed with Carol Danvers permanently absorbed her memories and powers, including super-strength and flight.

  286. This battle left Rogue in shambles, however, as she was devastated by her own actions in harming Danvers, whom she found out was not deserving of these actions. The guilt overwhelmed Anna-Marie.

  288. Yet again, Rogue would run away from her home.
  289.  
  290. It has been years now that Rogue has been on her own and on the road. She's experienced a lot, most of it bad, but it has been the adventure she always dreamed of going on as a child and she feels she has nowhere to go or anyone to help her.

  292. At least that is what she was led to believe until she heard of a school for mutants in the New York area. Once locating the school, Anna-Marie hitch-hiked her way across the country and approached Xavier's School. She laid out her case to them, explained all she'd done and been through in her life with her mutant powers and asked to join.

  294. Though some of the X-Men were leery at the thought of accepting Rogue, Xavier himself insisted that a mutant of Rogue's powers needed their help to overcome her past and to nourish the good that Xavier believed was in her heart.

  296. Rogue is enrolled in Xavier's School now, trying to catch up for her years missed, after dropping out of school. She's still rather wild and unkempt, but is trying to become a better person.

  301. Anna-Marie's early life, not knowing what happened to her parents, led her to being a withdrawn person. Growing up with relative stable foster parents helped with that, but it never solved the problem as a whole. This was amplified later by her time spent with Mystique.

I routinely look over the fingers of recently dropped characters to check that everything is formatted and spelt correctly, as players are not able to make most of these changes without staff input, and when a new player picks up a character, staff can sometimes forget to double-check these things.   461. When I applied for Gambit on 18 November 2017, I largely used an old application I had written for another game, which contained the Gift. The touch aspect was based on Marvel Comics where Gambit had demonstrated that ability. When I made changes to the application I had previously wrote, I overlooked that aspect.

Liu may be able to attest to this, as when she later brought it sometime later, I reacted incredulously and did not know, nor believe it had been part of the sheet I had written until I pulled out my original copy, and found yes, it was there. This is actually something that staff has discussed about removing, though we generally try not to remove things from active players.

  465. I would also like to note that I gave him up less than a month later in favour of the player who used to be Turtle at CoMux. I encouraged Turtle to apply for him, as I consider him a friend, and understood that he and the Diana / Rogue player have often play romantic partners, both here, and at CoMux.   475. There really isn't a lot to say here, except that I disagree. I do not feel that is an accurate characterisation of my attitudes, intentions, or actions.

  477. That said, I do not believe that Diana Prince player and I were ever truly friends. We role-played while at HeroMux, when I played Daredevil and she played April O'Neil. But we were never particularly close. I had also been playing Steve Trevor at the time, and even asked her to apply for Wonder Woman. At the time, she knew virtually nothing of the character, so I had to help her in that regard.

  479. When HeroMUX closed, something Diana Prince player claimed to have a direct hand in, after she had problems with a number of staffers, though most of all the one who played Gambit. Sadly, I forget his name. When it closed, we both moved to Flames of Darkness, a MUD where she was a wizard. If we had been friends at HeroMUX, there were already signs of it fracturing at Flame of Darkness. I applied for Steve Trevor there too. She refused to play any scene with me. I also applied for David Xanatos, and she still refused to play any scene with me. These were open invitations to play, but would without fail, be rejected for one reason or another.

  481. With HeroMUX gone, seeing signs of staff issues at CoMux, and frankly, hating the MUD controls, I approached Volund, whom I had worked with at Brave New World under Elsa, who went by a number of names, but I knew her/him as Elsa.

  483. Anyway, Volund agreed to help me set up a new game. Because Diana Prince player has been playing Superhero games for longer continuously than I, I invited her to join in. We had actually discussed the possibly some months later before HeroMUX closed.

  485. I ended up applying for Steve Trevor here before Diana Prince player applied for Wonder Woman. At the time, he was in his 30's, which fit with the timeline we had set, as he had discovered Themyscira sometime after 2015. I can't remember the exact date, but it was the modern era.

  487. Diana Prince player decided that she preferred the Wonder Woman movie and insisted that we change the timeline to reflect her meeting Steve Trevor during the First World War. That's how she wrote her application. This put me, as an approved Steve Trevor, in something of a quandary.

  489. She had written her application to be more or less the same as the movie, save for the fact that he did not die in the plane crash. He survived the War and she made reference to having been with him ever since in her background.

There is no record for this in the jobs, even though earlier that day, she in her staff bit approved a sheet change job. I've since discovered many other things were changed.

  493. But I'm getting ahead of myself here. I didn't know that at the time. I tried to work with her to solve the issue of her application, as I knew it, having Steve Trevor survive the First World War, and still be a young man in the present, as he had been approved and I had been playing him.

  495. We went through many incarnations, discussing having Zeus return his youth to him at a certain point in payment of some debt he owed to Wonder Woman. I suggested plots around this. Diana did not like it. We discussed using the infinity formula that keeps Nick Fury young and vital. Diana did not like it. We discussed aliens, magic's, a host of other options. Diana did not like it.

  497. No matter what I tried, the best I could get was grudging acceptance. At least two of these options actually made it through approval, one of him being extremely old, and another, which I loathed, where he was the grandson, or great grandson, something along those lines; of the original that died of old age.

  499. That iteration lasted three poses, two by me, and one by her, before we erupted into an OOC argument and had to abandon the scene. I dropped him shortly thereafter.

There was even a point where while I was playing him, she made a lengthy post about her problems with United Heroes MUSH, the end of which suggested that Steve Trevor had been making unwanted sexual advances towards her. Something she later explained was made up in anger. She apologised privately to me, but I quit the character over it, naturally.

  511. I got the impression that Diana Prince player wanted no part in establishing a game, but once it was up and running, with a sizeable player base, she took more interest. She and McFarlane reviewed a lot of applications after the first couple of months. Unfortunately as we've found, neither were too strict, something I was guilty of in those days a well, to be fair. It's part of the reason we later went to a two staff evaluation system for such things.

Not only has she sent gripes about me without basis, logs, or evidence any kind on numerous occasions, I have been told privately by other players that she is badmouthing me to them, or spreading information that she knows to be false because it suits her narrative. I have listed these in official gripes against her, though she is a smooth operator, and through it all has managed to earn a solitary strike against her.

  652. Volund's code base covers logs, but they need to be manually converted to the wiki, often by Liu, while sheets have to be uploaded entirely, again, usually by Liu. I do not think it is fair for Diana Prince player to suggest Liu invented the "Bachelor's at NYU" for April O'Neil on 23 December 2017. I do admit that I modified based on that to use the correct format, New York University (B) and I added the CreW as the abbreviation for creative writing. Hmm, it seems April O'Neil's application was approved by Ruby in job 183. So it may have been originally written by someone else? That would bear greater investigation.

She is claiming I made changes without a job, but has no basis to know whether or not I had a job. As it so happens, I had claimed him off idle during the Christmas period (where you will not be opened due to idle, but can be claimed if you go idle) on 13 December 2019. I made changes as part of my application, one that I almost abandoned due to the harassment through Liu, who Diana Prince knows is a close friend of mine.

  662. As to why I asked, I had lost contact with most of my then online MU* friends when HeroMUX died. I did not have E-Mails. I was unable to find many of the people I had been playing with and wanted to offer staff positions to. We were friendly at best, but I wouldn't go so far as to say friends.

  684. I feel that I have been persecuted and hunted. I feel that I have been harassed. I feel concerned about my safety on a game I helped found. But my issues, other than the alternate reality, isn't with what was changed, but how it was. It was done stealthily, secretly. Had you ever told me, please I would like Steve to be dead, I would have been hurt, as he is among my favourite characters, but that would have been workable. This... whatever it is, just. It was the wrong way to go about it.

I assume people will be @mailing or creating a Discord to discuss it. Whatever.
