    "I sat at the bus stop that mom always took to work, hoping that the next bus would have her."
    "But after months of sitting here, I'm starting to think mom isn't coming home."
    Ph"Did I do something wrong, mom? Is there anything I can do to show you I've been good?"

    "I looked around and saw my aunt walking down the street towards me."
    v"Come on Phil, it's time to eat."
    Ph"B-But what if mom comes while I'm eating?"
    v"Your mother always calls once she's here. You know that."

    v"No more 'buts.' Come on, you haven't eaten a thing all day!"

    "As I followed my aunt back to her house, I took one more look at the bus stop."
    "Maybe one day mom will come home again."
