>the moment you and anon arrived at the town you both split into different directions

>you slammed the door open and saw 5 ponies gathered in the living room that were terrified to see you

>twilight: "dead twilight, something terrible has happened in canterlot. we've been attacked by changlings again. anons brother has been captured and brought back to their base of operations. please come to canterlot along with anon and the other five (as long as applejack is fit to come along). your truly, princess celestia

>twilight: "how'd you know anons brother was hurt, and where were you last night? lyra said she kicked you out of the bar and big mac said you didnt come home."

>you stepped off the train station and began running towards the castle

"WHERE IS HE, WHAT HAPPENED, AND WHAT WERE THOSE BLACK THINGS?"
>everyone in the room looked at you with shocked eyes
>you could see celestia in her throne, looking worried and frustrated
>you saw a very sad luna, who was looking at the ground with a tear in the corner of her eye
>there was also a white unicorn with a shield as his cutie mark
>celestia: "anon, i just sent the letter to ponyville. how did you get here so early"
"Thats beside the point, now answer the questions!"

"come on, we've got to get back to the everfree forest"

>you were walking in the middle of the group

>she tackled you into a cave that was on your left

>you were rolling down deeper into the cave

>you wrap your arms around rainbow dash to keep her from getting injured
>you stop rolling long enough to see the entrance of the cave collapse
>the only source of light was a small hole in the roof of the cave
>shining down onto a small pool of water
>something was definitely broken, but you were too dazed to find out what it was
>your vision was starting to become blurry
>rainbow dash: "hey anon, thanks for saving me. anon?... Anon!"
>her voice was getting softer and softer as your vision faded to black
