  1. 19:18] Nostromo, true to his words took a step away from the group and held his hand out before him. Two fingers extended outwards while the rest were curled into his palm. Closing his eyes for a moment, allowing his senses to spread outwards from where he stood.
  2.
  3. The soft grasses under his feet were noticeable of course, a salty-smelling wind from the south washed over the field, and the scent of flowers blossoming spoke of spring. His head jerked up as they spoke of leaving, bright violet orbs glinting in the darkness. Before he left though the youth placed a singular sword down into the earth, like a sword in the stone.
  4.
  5. In a fluid motion a shimmering green ether trailed behind Nostromo's fingers as they wrote out the runic command of the Netherworld, creating a wide outer circle before flicking their hand again and creating a concentric inner glyphically command of Territory.
  6.
  7. Creating a lock of sorts to the first location they had stood in. Notating down that moment and place as he knew it. The flow of energy, mana, and most importantly the physical manifestations of the Lifestream itself as he did so.
  8.
  9. Then they were off, the circle of runecraft floating along with him as he jogged along. He free hand came up to hold the magical sign in place as his fingers flicked more runes into the air.
  10.
  11. Another concentric circle was created linking the spot they'd been in with where they now stood. Which was becoming hard to narrow down as they continued their travels. He left that one vague, centered more around himself than a specific point.
  12.
  13. The next circle of runes was denser than the last as he sought to utilize a complex sequence of interpolation glyphs so that when he did make the attempt it wouldn't end up with him going no where. These glyphs would help to ensure the rather nebulous starting location could indeed reach where he'd first set the Territory glyphs.
  14.
  15. It was as he came to the second to last concentric runic circle that he paused. Looking up from the runic formula he'd been working on to notice they'd found someone. Not one that he knew but someone all the same. Good, it made things easier that way.
  16.
  17. The concentric circle of Conversion was detailed so that if he had to try and make the leap he'd be recored as exactly what he was in that moment. Nostromo.
  18.
  19. Then with a finaly spreading of his fingers and pressing them wide to grasp the edges of that final circle he pusled a final glyphe. This one appeared to almost be a figure leaping into a stream, or perhaps it was through a doorway? Hard to tell.
  20.
  21. Realizing that he'd not be able to test it in the way he'd initially intended his free hand waved a great circle on the outer layer, rapidly inscribing supporting glyphs of reversal, stabilizing the runic-subcommands for what was to come.
  22.
  23. In the next moment that he flicked his hand in a small circle, rotating the multi-layered concentric runes until they had locked into a new formation. Bringing his hand back and pulling it down, fist closed and crackling with energy.
  24.
  25. Did a small portal appear around the inner edges of the circle. Reaching through the crackling green portal Nostrom grinned as he felt his fingers grasp the swords hilt. With a satisfied groan the aspiring Wayfinder pulled the blade free of the earth where he'd left it.
  26.
  27. Flicking the blade to the earth before twirling it to rest a few feet in front of his face, the shining flat of the blade reflecting Merlin in its sheen. Before twisting it so Nostromo could see beyond towards the scythe wilding giant.
  28.
  29. His excitement at having completed the small portal withered as he realized they faced quite the warrior. Well, greater fighters than he stood at his flanks. If he was lucky he wouldn't have to do anything.
  30.
  31. Though! When it was Matzuhida that came out the victor? Well, the young magi was most certainly impressed with such a close and well fought win. Offering a soft whistle as the sword was slide back into his scabbard.
  32.
  33. "Now that was impressive."
  34. (Nostromo)
