RedBlue Catch 'em all - Very old Red Route (2014)

It's advised that you know the basic route for Any% glitchless up to Celadon City and you know how to DSum.
This run incorporates a lot of trading. Most of it will be done at the end of the run and will take like an hour.
The Blue player will have to get an Eevee as fast as possible and then reset (because you can only get 1 Eevee per savefile).
The Red player will only have this one savefile and typically ends up having some more Pokemon that Blue doesnt have. We want to minimize these "One-sided-trades" (means that only one player benefits from that trade).
There are a lot of strats for each situation that can happen. I will try to cover most of those.

Here's the current route:
- set Options: Text Speed: 3, Battle Animations: Off, Battle Style: Shift

- Pallet Town up to Pewter City
	- Get Potion from the PC, get Squirtle
	(stats don't matter: good attack helps for Weedle Guy, good special helps for Brock)
	- Get Pokedex, kill a wild encounter on Route 1 (this gets you Bubble after Weedle Guy)
	- Viridian Mart (Buy 13 Pokeballs, 1 Antidote, 1 Paraheal)
		(the extra Antidote is used if you get Poisoned when catching Weedle)
		(Para Heal is for Oddishs/Ghastly/Haunter)
	- Route 22: Catch Nidoran Male	(DSum)
	(if it's L4 and your time is bad, you can check it's stats and reset if you have 9Attack (0-5 DV))
	    	L3 Rattata: 14 in, 11 out, then alternate 12 in 12 out
		L4 Rattata: 10 out
		L2 Rattata: 4 in 12 out
		L2 NidoM:   6 in 12 out
		L3 Spearow: 2 out 6 in 12 out
		L5 Spearow: 3 out 6 in 12 out
		L3 NidoF:   4 out 6 in 12 out
		L4 NidoF:   5 out 6 in 12 out
			- you can catch Spearow here, but it's not advised, because it does a lot of damage
			- if you find a NidoranF, catch it. That means that Player Blue doesn't have to go to this Route
			and catch one for you, which also means that you will have to catch Nidorina in SafariZone
	- get hidden bush Potion, enter forest
	- pick up the Antidote (for Weedle Guy), and get the Potion (you can also get the Itemball)
	- beat Weedle Guy (2 TailWhip, 4-5 Tackle)
	- Catch Kakuna & Weedle  or  2x Weedle
		(don't catch Kakuna before having Bubble, as Tackle does little damage)
		(don't catch Caterpie/Metapod, because it would only save time if Blue finds a Weedle in his run and
		that case doesn't happen too often to rely on that)
		(Pikachu hurts and can paralyze/kill you, you'll get one in Power Plant eventually)

- Pewter City
	- Heal poison/HP with Potion, switch Nidoran to the top
	- beat Brock and hope for decent stats (switch in Squirtle to kill Geodude & Onix with Bubble)
		Nido Level 8 stat ranges: 25-27 HP, 14-16 Attack, 11-13 Defense, 13-15 Speed, 11-13 Special
		(you can reset if you are not happy with your stats, but they don't matter too much)
	- set Battle Style to Set
	- Pewter Mart (Sell TM34 | Buy 7 Potions)

- Route 3 (this route can cost a lot of time with 14 Attack on L8)
	- Bug Catcher 1:
		All three Pokemon: Leer, Horn Attack, Horn Attack/Tackle
	- Shorts Guy (heal to full):
		Both pokemon: Leer, Horn, Horn (Go for Double Horn Attack on Rattata with 16Atk on L8 (crit can kill)
	- Bug Catcher 2&3: Horn Attack all
		(with 14 Attack you need to save Horn Attack PP, so you may want to Leer, 2x Tackle Caterpie and Weedle)
	- Catch Spearow (weaken with Tackle, weaken Level 5s with PoisonSting)
		(if you find a Jigglypuff before Spearow, you can try to catch it, but it is not advised as you still 		need balls for Mt.Moon)
	- Heal at Pokecenter, get Magikarp (you need Magikarp in your team, deposit something, if you don't have space)

- Mt. Moon	(strat depends on stats, refer to this guide: http://pastebin.com/6E30RQYB)
	- you need to catch 3 (or 2) Pokemon in here:
		- catch Zubat (weaken with Tackle or HornAttack if it's a high level)
		- catch Geodude (easier to weaken with evolved Nido, but definitely catch this as soon as you find it)
		- you need another "trade slave": you can catch another Zubat, a Paras (Blue definitely has to
		catch one in MtMoon/Safari for the pokedex entry later) or you can skip that and catch anything in the 		grass before rock tunnel (Voltorb is the best option for that, but you dont want to waste time there, searching for it, while Blue is already ready to trade)
		(- if you have enough balls and you find a Clefairy you can try to catch it, as it saves 10000$
		later in the run)
	(- get TM12 (if Hiker strats))
	- battle Nerd (HornAttack all), get RareCandy and Escape Rope
	- battle Lass (HornAttack all), (teach WaterGun over Leer (if Hiker strats))
	(- beat Hiker), get Moon Stone
	- evolve before Rocket, get Dome Fossil	(may also get the hidden MoonStone, if you caught Jigglypuff earlier)

- Cerulean City
	- take the Center
	- get hidden Rare Candy in the backyard
	- Rival 1: Horn Attack everything (switch Pokemon on last hit on Pidgeotto, if Sand-attacked)
	- Nugget bridge: Horn Attack everything, finish with Sting
	- RareCandy to Level 23 after Trainer#4/#5 (or #3), teach Thrash over Tackle
	- Trash the rest of the trainers here
		You can play it safe on Machop Hiker and switch to Squirtle if you didnt 4-turn/kill the Geodude
		(Beat Onix Hiker, if you have Water Gun)
	- Escape Rope at Bill
	- take Pokecenter or heal with Potions if you have enough
	- beat Misty (you want to save before this fight!): Thrash (switch out, if you get confused and are faster than Starmie)
	- (Potion if needed) Thrash the Rocket
	- ! Give Magikarp to the Daycare Dude !
	- thrash the two trainers on Route 6 (if you run into an Oddish, weaken with PoisonSting(/Bubbleam), catch it)

- Vermillion City
	- Buy 3 Superpotions, 3 Repel, 2 Awakening (Erika's Victreebel can troll you later)
	- Switch third item with SuperPotions, teach TM11 Bubblebeam over Leer(/WaterGun), use Super Potion if needed
	- SS. Anne
		- get the Rare Candy in the 4th room from the left on the "Rivalfloor" (Thrash the Gentleman)
		- Rival:
			Pidgeotto: HornAttack, Bubblebeam (Crit Horn can kill)
			Raticate: 2x BB or thrash if you want to risk a 4-turn
			Kadabra/Ivysaur: Thrash
		- get Cut, leave the ship
	- trade Farfetch’d, switch top item with repels, teach Cut to Dux (+ teach Cut to Oddish, if you have it), teach Dig to Squirtle
	- Beat Surge
		Voltorb: HornAttack, BB or go for 4-turn Thrash with 12+ DV Attack
		Pikachu/Raichu: Thrash
	- get Bike Voucher, dig out
	- get Bike, switch second item with Bike, teach TM24 Thunderbolt over HornAttack
	- Route 9
		- Lass: go for 4 turn Thrash and hope for no trolling (you can switch out to get rid of confusion)
		- Bug Catcher: Thrash (or TB Caterpie, as Venonat might live a Thrash)
	(- Catch Voltorb (and/or Ekans) if you need a third tradeslave or
	if you have balls and time left until Blue is ready to trade)
	- enter Tunnel Pokecenter (heal if you want)
	- deposit both bugs (Weedle, Weedle/Kakuna; withdraw 3 trade slaves (Zubat, Geodude, Zubat/Paras/Voltorb)
	- First Trade:	(should happen at around 1:05)
