"Krito-san wait..."

I held my words back contemplating if I should really be saying them or not.
The figure in front of me halted in his movement. I bite my bottom lip in nervousness as the boy dressed in black stared back at me with a puzzled look on his face, obviously waiting for me to continue with what it was I had to say.
"Krito-san will you..."
honestly I feel so selfish asking this of him but after all the recent events that have happened this is something I desperately need.
"Will you please..."
I started speaking again not making any eye contact with the boy in front of me all the while cursing my own weakness to not be able to say whats on my mind.
Funny how life always loved to remind me just how weak I was. Before I met Krito I was traveling in a party of four people. A bunch of the party members were boys and one was a new girl who had just joined our group. I had actually gotten into a fight with said girl and decided to leave the party thinking I could easily survive in this world all on my own.
Boy was I wrong.
A bitter smile crossed my face as my mind flashed back to what had happended next. Without paying attention to where I was going I fond myself surrounded despite being under leveled and out numbered I tried to fend them off. But try as I might I was unable to fight them and just as it looked like my life was about to come to an end thats when Pina payed the ultimate price for both my weakness as well as my stupidity.
If not for the boy standing before me I would have died that night and would have never seen Pina again.
Suddenly a strange realization came over me. Thats right I'm not just doing this for myself but for pina as well. For his sake and for my own I have to become stronger. Strong enough to protect us both so that noting like that ever happens again.
With all these thoughts swirling in my mind I proceeded to raise my head finally finding my  resolve to look Krito in the eyes and it was then I fond my will to speak.
"Please Krito-san take me on as your apprentice" There I finally said it.
Honestly it felt like a burden had been lifted as I stared deeply into Krito's eyes who appeaered to have an unreadable expression on his face after hearing my words.
Honestly I know it was selfish of me to ask so much of him after he's done so much to help me already.
