Letter from the Chief of Police

Welcome to the Cedar Creek Police Department. I hope that you find our site useful and informative as to the many phenomenal services we provide to our community. The Cedar Creek Police Department takes great pride in providing exceptional police services to residents and visitors alike. Our officers excel at being the watchmen of our community. Our department enjoys a great partnership with both our residential and business communities. These relationships are essential to successfully carrying out our mission of keeping our community safe.

The men and women of the Cedar Creek Police Department are dedicated, well-trained professionals who serve this community day and night without reservation, often times placing themselves in harm’s way to protect our great community. I am confident that you will not find another law enforcement agency anywhere that provides better, more professional police services. Our officers work hard to maintain an approachable demeanor, we do so by encouraging our officers to interact with citizens and visitors throughout their day to day operations. We also uniform our officers in a somewhat casual yet practical fashion. These uniforms are designed to be friendlier and less militant. Our hope is these uniforms will encourage individuals to interact with Law Enforcement Officers more intimately and easier.

In the past decade or so Police Officers have often times been viewed in the public forum more so as the enemy than the protectors they should be. The Cedar Creek Police Department works diligently to combat this image while maintaining the integrity, duty, trust, and compassion expected of us. In order to maintain this, we maintain an open door policy, any questions, comments, and or concerns can be brought directly to the Administration Bureau at the Public Safety Building 65 Macallan Lane, Lakeside Falls.

I am very proud of all of our sworn officers, civilian support staff and citizen volunteers (CPSO) who all have servants’ hearts and give of themselves daily to make our City a great place to live, work and play. Together, with you, we will continue to make Cedar Creek a safe place to raise our families, do business or just to hang out and enjoy the wonderful parks and exciting special events.
