  1. I regret to inform the BCL team that I will be stepping down from my prestigious position as the most useful and intuitive advisor in BCL history. What will the league do without me you might ask? Who knows, but it's been a wonderful run nonetheless. Distortion is built upon TEAMWORK and ETHICS and I’d encourage new teams to follow in our footsteps. Regarding my advice for each branch of the BCL hierarchy:
  2.
  3. MANAGEMENT: Discard the dictators and bring about peace and harmony between the titans at the top of the BCL management team. You can’t have a well-oiled machine if the heart of it is broken and flawed.
  4.
  5. REFEREES: Honestly referees are the only strong suit of the BCL at the moment. They don’t have reoccurring problems every competitive scrim; +1 brownie points.
  6.
  7. HOSTS: Where do I begin here… First, have everyone sit in a call and let ShineSpiked explain to all of the hosts how to use a STOPWATCH (Here’s a link because it is an ESSENTIAL tool: https://www.online-stopwatch.com./) This is the hardest team to rework because there are quite a few issues here. Inactivity riddles this team, as quite a few people don’t do the work they need to do. Cut ties with the deadweights and move on as a league.
  8.
  9. ADVISORY: This team needs to be WAY more streamlined. Having 20 advisors and having many of them voted against to join is frustrating and clogs advisory chat with quite a bit of useless information. Ashley needs some restraint with the advisory team, as she runs wild with power and doesn’t set a good example for the rest of the BCL. As for the individual advisors, try actually reading Ashley’s messages instead of just clicking the check mark with no thought whatsoever.
  10. Here are some special shoutouts to the wonderful people that blessed me with special memories:
  11.
  12. Raiin – Scheduling was the hardest part about scrimming his team. If it wasn’t for the insane Disto bias who knows if I would have had brain cells left to spare.
  13. Kane – In case you’re wondering my internet is stable and better than ever.
  14. Moe – Let me just lead with this: I’ve never met/interacted with someone with a bigger ego than the legendary Jesusman3. Huge shoutout to the entire FinalSpark team: #slabs4life
  15. Panda_Faic – Can’t forget the biggest dictator in BCL history: And she did it all without a mic.
  16. BAM - Don’t have anything negative to say about him. Thanks for Season 3 win against Paradox in playoffs though.
  17. oJack – Worst Distortion member in the history of Distortion.
  18. Downpours – The ultimate example of get back to the kitchen.
  19. Some people I want to thank that got Distortion where they are today:
  20.
  21. ShineSpiked – The original player that took Distortion under his wing. One of the only players I’ve consistently respected in BCL.
  22. Vilare – One of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and deserves the position he’s been given 100%.
  23. Danny - Huge shoutout to Danny for EVERYTHING he’s done for the MCL. Without him, none of this would be possible.
  24. Spectilas – The best brawler and one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. He helped get Distortion off its feet and is an all-time Distortion great.
  25. JayBird – The first non-captain to join the team. Even though he left for Nitro at one point, he’s still one of the most reliable players I’ve ever met.
  26. Rockerman – Has done the most tedious work for Distortion in its 1 year tenure. He got all the scrims so I didn’t have to worry about casual scrims.
  27. Ailyx - BIGGEST SHOUTOUT GOES TO DEREK. He’s been with me throughout the entire rollercoaster of the BCL and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone alongside me.
  28.
  29. Also, shoutout to M00N, Teskam0, Arotic and everyone that has ever been on Distortion, it’s been one hell of a ride!
  30. Metro Lost To Disto On Rae - Today at 5:49 PM
  31. :scales: The End of an Era: My Resignation :scales: @everyone
  32.
  33. It's that time, boys and girls. The time has come for me to step down from
  34. this beautiful position that they call BCL manager, and the legacy of Distortion will go with me.
  35.
  36. I know you all love me, and I thank you 100% for your support of me throughout my time at the head of the league. I honestly can't say it's been fun, but it certainly has been interesting.
  37.
  38. It’s been basically a year since Distortion came into the league, and what a year it has been. We won playoffs the first year we came into the league, but we sadly could not pull off the repeat. Honestly, it was only a matter of time until our reign came to the end, and I thank everyone that has been a part of it.
  39.
  40. To the teams still left in playoffs, I wish you good luck. The time is ripe, and seize your opportunity to take what is yours. May the hosts be ever in your favor.
  41.
  42. At the end of the day, it is just Minecraft, so don’t take anything I say in here too seriously. Hopefully BCL will stand the test of time, but I guess only time will tell.
  43.
  44. I’d like to give a “special” shoutout to some of the people/teams that made my time in this league a truly wonderful experience.
  45.
  46. Raiinmaker - We’ll start here, because you were the first staff member I had a real interaction with. Thank you for giving me my first and only mute, and using your bias in every way possible to trump me (Kane gets lumped in here as well). Also, Hunter’s internet is doing fine now, thanks for that.
  47.
  48. Siich - Thank you for attempting to blacklist Bird in the most infeasible way possible, and for arguing to the moon and back with me about that blacklist. (Also thanks Capreso for making a 2000 word essay on why Bird shouldn’t be blacklisted).
  49. Kane - On second thought, I’ll give my boy Kane a “special” shoutout. Thank you for making my job as manager extremely difficult and a pain in the neck. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for teaching me group dynamics, and getting the rest of the managers to band together to stop you. Distortion bias always wins (except in the case of time).
  50.
  51. Moa - When you give Moa ref and add him to the Metro team, it becomes too much bias to deal with. No matter how many times you get screenshared, it seems they’ll never find your minecraft enhancers, which is a real shame. Also, props to you for playing the hosts like a fiddle, you really gave us a hard time with that one.
  52.
  53. Moe - Words don’t do justice for how incredibly egotistical you are without warrant. It’s no coincidence that FinalSpark only became relevant when they got a special someone who doesn’t deserve to be named, but let’s just say he should stay blacklisted. You complain when people get upset about decisions that are made, but god forbid something happens to FinalSpark, because the entirety of the staff team will never hear the end of it from the great Jesusman3.
  54.
  55. The rest of the FinalSpark team - Excluding a few people, the entirety of this team is the most agonizing and annoying group of individuals that I have ever had the displeasure of coming across. Thank you for playing the most boring games I have ever taken part in, and for having the most fragile egos of any team that has existed in this league(Surveymonkey haHAA).
  56.
  57. This certainly is not all of the people, but I’d be here all night if I finished the whole list.
  58. As for the actual shoutouts, I’d like to thank all included, but not limited to, the following: Shinespiked, Capreso, Jewel, Vilare, Soca, Joe (Nerdz), the entire host team, the founders of Distortion, and anyone who is or has ever been on Distortion. This specifically is Supa, Spectilas, Teskam0, Rockerman, Bird, M00N, and many, many others.
  59.
  60. Also, a huge shoutout to Danny for building this whole system of leagues from the ground up, he truly is a mastermind, and he does the best he can to make sure that everything runs well.
  61.
  62. Hopefully this doesn’t get deleted, but it most likely will. In the event that it doesn’t, good luck to all of you in the Bridges Competitive League, you sure will need it.
  63.
  64. Also, here's a link to SupaHD's resignation, as well as mine because these will most likely also get deleted:
