but I can absolutely start logging everything to have proof of the player sentiments
but so far it's been a discussion of why the volunteers are right, instead of what could be wrong that the players feel this way
do you see where I'm coming from?
like, the only reason I said anything was because everyone just wanted to say "no you're wrong" instead of "okay why do you feel that way?"

and I see this consistently from you guys, and it comes across on the boards too. A lot of the responses I see on the boards are basically "I'm right you're wrong, don't talk anymore or you know you'll be banned"(edited)
which is why I kept asking what the goal of the program is, since you guys don't have access to most info how can we go about making half the calls we make. On top of the fact of like....if this is a mediating position then sometimes people have a bit of an accusing and frankly rude tone, as well as the mods getting away with a lot of stuff the players wouldn't get away with

I do kind of want to point at keyru about not doing things about some mods for their behavior, I don't have the right or privilege to threaten or remove a mod, I can only talk to them about and let keyru know.

Since we're not name dropping I can only say I absolutely do see ppl behaving inappropriately; in a manner that we wouldn't let other players? No, it's not that bad at all unless I've missed something significant. I do see some low standards in a few particular people and they have probably been talked to about it, some may be on thin ice,  but we're not blind, we're just going too easy and it's something I personally disagree with.
I don't have keyru's ear or run the program as much as anyone thinks, heralds are not that much in charge.

I feel like it's not all inherently Keyru's problem, but she's just the next step up so people would blame her for it
there's just a lack of attention to this entire space altogether
and I think something needs to be decided, set in stone, and then move forward from there

We make decisions based on their patterns of behavior, violations, history, things they actually show

okay then yea by all means keep taking action, but I think you need better support if we're moderating and not just mediating
I think you deserve better support if that's the case, and so do the players
but honestly, I don't think anyone is concerned with the boards because they view it as a failure and nobody is willing to put in any effort to make them better
I mean, Keyru was just saying we should be on reddit looking for player reports. Meanwhile player reports from boards shouldn't really be taken into account
