  20. Evolving 1 less mon (-25s)
  21. Diglett (+27)
  22. Average Encounter x2 (+35) (adding a weaken turn)
  23. Pewter (+55)
  24.
  25. Other Benefits:
  26. - 40 for Raichu, WG*/WP always kills Raichu (-0.25s)
  27. - 42 for Muk (improves defensive ranges)
  28. - 42 for Weezing (41-->70% OHKO) (-6.5s)
  29. - 43 for Rapidash (outspeed with 19 speed)
  30. - 44 for Grimer (82-->100% OHKO) (-0.75s)

  35. - 58 for Weezing (8-9/16 -> 14-15/16) (-2.5s)
  36. Net:
  37. - Early Warden House: -10s
  38. - Mid/Late Game Candy Benefits: -16.40s
  39. - Skipping 1 Candy Evo Mon: -29s
  40. - Early Erika: +22s
  41. - Replacement Catch Options
  42. - Diglett (+27s) (assuming the 2 replaced catches for the lack of candy mons are 2 mons you encounter first encounter and yoloball first ball)
  43. - Average Encounter x2 (+35) (assuming the 2 replaced catches are 2 mons you encounter first encounter, weaken, then throw a ball that gets in first ball)
  44. - Pewter (+55) (assuming the 2 replaced catches are Aerodactyl and Diglett, two mons that are very consistent but very slow relative to other catches)
  45.
  46. - Net before considering 1 caught mon: -33.4s
  47. - Net assuming Diglett: -6.4s
  48. - Net assuming Average Encounter: +1.6s
  49. - Net assuming 1/2 Pewter: +21.6s
  50.
  51. On top of this, subsequent encounters and breakouts can also be estimated at around 10-11 seconds each for both of them. Obviously only an option for caught mons (i.e. not candy evos).
  52.
  53. TLDR: If you are doing this strat, make sure that the mons you choose to replace your two candies with are fast encounters (i.e. don't resign yourself to just doing Pewter as a quick fix to counteract the two lost mons). This strat is only worthwhile if you get your two encounters with no more than 1-2 combined extra encounters/breakouts.
