The night was rather cold and dark, nearing midnight as winters cold approached eagerly. Inside a small cave rested a Dragoness, laying back on a small couch while reading what seemed to be a book. It was well known that while anthros and creatures alike inhabited towns, some preferred to stay isolated, or were never shown that light of day.  Letting off a yawn, the red and white bellied female continued relaxing, a few wall hung torches keeping it warm, as well as the blanket that rested neatly on her. She wasn't much one to go out, as besides the garden a few blocks away, she didn't have much of a reason to. Finding the stories in her books and the comfy of her cave much safer.

Outside of her cave a short distance away, a human was lost in the snowy night, seemingly having lost his trail with the snow covering the ground. He was moving about in the forest, searching for a place to spend the night away from the chilly outside air, and in the distance noticed a cave... he should be able to hold out in there for the night, and find his way home when it was light out again, surely... he heads towards the cave, not knowing that it's inhabited by anyone, coming inside... it didn't take him long to notice light coming from deeper in the cave... was someone else here already? He really didn't want to go back out in that blizzard though... he decides to press forward, maybe he can talk to whoever is inside...

The only thing that could be heard from her scaled ears was the soft breeze of the snow and air, though, something made them slightly twitch when a few footsteps, the crunching of ice, and the breaths of someone were picked up. Sitting up rather fast from the lazily made and spotty couch, the dragoness was fast to put on some leather wear, covering her bits. On her side and in between her soft rather skin like texture and the leather was a small knife. Something she almost never used, but was willing to if the intruder was dangerous. Opening her mouth cautiously, she stepped forward as she stood up, trying to get a good view of the character. "Hello? Who Goes there?" She calls out, her voice somewhat concerned.

She could see a figure in the faint torch light looking inward, but they stopped when they saw someone as big as her, freezing in place. "Ah...! Sorry, just a traveler looking for somewhere to get out of the cold... I um, I can go back out if that'll be a problem..." He says, a slight chill in his voice. He could see them holding some kind of weapon too... how tall were they also? They seemed almost twice his size!

Rather slowly, she stepped out of the shadows and revealed herself, now getting a good view of the human as well, causing her eyes to go wide with excitement. "Oh! You're a human!" She yelps, it seemed like anything of fear and anger went away, devolving into more of just an excited girl. "I've read about you guys, yes please come in!" She waves, turning around, not before grabbing his hand. Her own hand was much bigger, but felt rather warm and nice, nails being much smaller than what one would think. "Don't worry, you're more than welcome to stay here, in fact if anything I'm happy to have company so unique!" She sounded both ecstatic and surprised, seemed like she was an interesting one for sure.

Zach quickly found his hand, and a bit of his wrist, grabbed in the dragon's hand as she suddenly came forward. He looked a little shocked, and maybe a bit afraid, but didnt resist as she started to pull him inside, leading him by the hand. "O-oh, alright, thank you...! Sorry for coming in so suddenly... it's um, really cold out there tonight..." He explains. "Are humans really that unique though...? I think a dragon is more unique than one of us..." he says, following her until she lets go of his hand...

They enter the back of the cave, what seems to be a nice setup house like area. There was a couch, bookshelf, and what seemed to be a broken television. Besides that was a small cabinet of foods, ale, and other drinks. "Oh... I don't think I'm that rare. But thank you. My name's Lizzy by the way." She says, moving over to the cabinets. "Do you need anything to drink or eat?" She asks, before turning around and smiling, pointing to the torch on the wall. " Oh! And the torches should keep us warm. I'm not like the stories where dragons can breath fire and whatnot." She says laughing. Her voice had a small accent to it, making it, despite her size, rather soft and cute. She was curvy too, looking more like a beautiful woman than a scalie creature.(edited)

He seems to be feeling at least a little better in the warmth of her cave, slowly stopping his shivering as he stays near her, not wanting to be rude and wander off, even if he was looking around pretty frequently...

That seems to make her laugh a bit, the dragoness smiling as she sits down onto the couch. "Well it's nice too meet you Zach! Hopefully I don't scare you or anything!" She opens up her mouth, pointing to her teeth. "Besides, the most scary thing about me is some of my teeth. These little fangs are about as sharp as I get. So please know I'm not going to hurt you. Most I could do to you is nibble." She explains, truly seeming innocent. Even taking a look at her dagger, it looks like it's never even been used once.(edited)

He's not entirely sure what to do, so after looking around at her cave like home for a few more seconds, jumps up on the couch to join Lizzy, sitting by her. He's a little quiet though, but seems to be looking at her... "Oh, you have wings? Can you fly at all?" he asks, trying to make conversation with the dragoness he would likely be spending the night with
