Covet: Cadence was waddling down the isle fanning herself with her wallet. Her face glistening and you could tell she was uncomfortable. She had her phone out with the shopping list on it and was pushing the cart slowly, leaning on it heavily. "That bag of dog food please." She said pointing to the big bag of the nice no grain formula dog food. // Felix was walking along with the girls and walked around them so that he could get the bag of dogfood that Cadence had pointed out. "Alright, are you sure you're okay? You look like you're dying right now." He commented candidly.
Alexithymiaa: -Steph followed alongside the cart, her crutch propped under her right arm as she limped at the same pace Cadence was, trying to shift the crutch because she was also uncomfortable. "Arizona..." She essentially growled at him before looking at Cadence. "You don''t look like you're dying. You look gorgeous." She said quickly, darting a glare at Felix.-
Covet: "No no, he's right. I feel like I'm dying." Cadence said. "Why is it so warm everywhere?" She asked, though it really wasn't that warm. " Maybe we could go for a snowcone or something after this..." She said trailing off, then went to stand up more straight with her hand on her back, hissing out. "Fucking christ....these fucking back spasms." // Felix had put the bag of dog food into the cart then looked at Steph with an innocent look, "I meant it in a concerning way, see she's not even mad...Cadence are you sure you're alright?"
Alexithymiaa: "They're blasting the AC..." She started slowly, feeling her phone vibrate in her bag. She pulled it out to glance down at the screen, seeing the email from Brad before shoving it away. "Do you want to sit down for a few minutes?" She asked, shifting again trying to find a good way to situate her crutch. Her armpit hurt from all the walking they were doing around the store.-
Covet: "Yeah, that sounds good, if you can find somewhere to sit." Cadence said with a wince. Then she handed her phone to Felix, " I just need the cat litter. The name brand is there on the list." She told him. Then moved her hand to her stomach."I feel like this has all just gotten worse since Remy had to leave." // Felix looked at Steph then at Cadence, " Well tell the baby to knock it off and that they have to wait." He said, "Yeah you two go sit down, I'll go get the litter."
Alexithymiaa: -She glanced around her, spotting a stray folding chair in the corner since there really weren't any chairs around. "Look, over there. C'mon." She said gesturing toward the chair. "You can sit first since you're feeling way worse than I am. Felix will take care of the list."-
Covet: Cadence laughed as they started that direction. " Wow, how pathetic are we that we're desperately wanting to take turns on a chair because we can't hang in the store?" When they got to the chair she sat down leaning back to give her toes a wiggle. " It's so weird tring to walk when your feet are asleep." // Felix wandered about until he found the cat litter and put it into the cart and made his way over to them again. " We could always put at least one of you in the cart. I think you have to much leg between the both of you to fit both of you in there."
Alexithymiaa: "Trust me, I'm well aware how pathetic we are." She said with a laugh, leaning heavily on the crutch. She glanced up when Felix came back with the cart, raising her brows. "We have too much leg?" She asked, trying not to take offense, but she didnt exactly love the way it sounded. "Regardless, Cadence should get to ride in the cart. I'll be fine."-
Covet: "Too much leg. Uh.. Thank you?" Cadence asked for a laugh then shook her head, "I'm sooo not trying to climb into the cart, I'll never get back out again. How would I explain that one to Remy, or Baby B?" She asked with a laugh.
Covet: // Felix shook his head " It's not a bad thing, don't give me that look. Lots of leg is a great thing." He got all defensive, then gave a shrugged, "I think he'd be pretty understanding of the event, and what parent doesn't want funny stories to tell their kids?"
Alexithymiaa: "Uhuh...." she said as she continued to glare at him before looking to Cadence. "Hey, it's a better story than some of the others you could tell Baby B. Think of the lesser of two evils here." She pulled her phone out of her bag again, holding it out toward Cadence. "Here. Open Bradley's email. He sent me the song he worked on for me. Maybe it'll distract you from how uncomfortable you are."-
Covet: "The lesser of two evils right now is just sitting here for a second." Cadence said taking her phone to open up the email. She click on the file to open up and listen to, willing to try anything at this point. // Felix leaned over the cart and looked at Steph, "You can lean on the cart if your arm is hurting you, Red." He said moving out of the way, with the bag of dog food and the cat litter the cart wasn't exactly going anywhwere.
Alexithymiaa: -She smiled as she listened to the song with Brad's electronic backing, moving to the cart so she could lean her arms on the handle, reaching out to give Felix's hand a squeeze. "Thanks Arizona. I'm like sore from this crutch." She swung her gaze back around to Cadence, watching her. "Feeling any beter?"-
Covet: Cadence had kind of spaced out for a second and her hand became limp, causing Steph's phone to skitter to the floor. "Shit.. Sorry, yeah... I think so." She said shaking her head a little. Before looking at them still taking long painful blinks. // Felix smiled and rubbed her neck and shoulder while listening to the song, When Steph's phone hit the floor he quickly leaned down to pick it up, to make sure the screen and all that was okay, " Yeah, I'm thinking maybe it's time to check out and get you back home to rest."
Alexithymiaa: -She furrowed her brows as she stared at Cadence, leaning over to look into her face. "Bruce... you don't look okay." She flashed Felix a worried glance before slipping away from him, limping to Cadence's side. "Tell us the truth. How do you feel?"-
Covet: "I'm fine... everything's fine." She said trying to nudge Steph back so she could stand up, but the second she put weight on her foot her whole body crumpled forward and she landed on her side and her body went rigid, her eyes rolling back into her head as she started flailing and shakind about on the floor. // Felix looked back at Steph seeing her phone was okay and the next thing he knew Cadence was on the floor seizing. " Shit... Steph call nine one one." He told her handing her, her phone. He was down on the floor making sure that Cadence's body was secure so she wasn't hurting herself at all.
Alexithymiaa: "Cadence? Cadence!" She yelled, fumbling for her phone when Felix handed it back to her. Her hands shook as she dialed 911, putting the phone to her ear and staring down at her best friend in horror. When the dispatcher answered, she started rambling quickly in a panic into the phone. "We're at Petsmart on Wellwood in Central Portland and my friend just... collapsed. She's having a seizure and she's very very pregnant." She swallowed hard as the dispatcher told her they were sending someone, the tears spilling over her cheeks as she tried to catch her breath because all she wanted to do was pick Cadence up and run literally around the fucking block with her. "They're on their way." And a second after that sirens could be heard because the hospital is AROUND THE BLOCK.-
Covet: Cadence continued to shake then she started to ease up and her body relaxed. // Felix looked up at Steph and stayed there on the floor with Cadence until the ambulance showed up and he went to get out of the way. " Thank god w were close." He said looking at Steph. "Do you want to ride with her there? I'll get this stuff purchased and loaded up to meet you over at the hospital." He said to Steph. // The paramedics came in to adress the situation, looking at Felix at Steph asking them questions while getting vitals on Cadence. " Any idea how far along she is? How long was she seizing?" The male paramedic asked.
Alexithymiaa: "I... I can't..." She stammered, clutching her phone to her chest as she watched the paramedics come running in. "I can't get in and out of the truck. I can't do it..." She turned to look at the paramedics, chewing on her lower lip. "Um... she was seizing for a couple minutes. And she's about eight months pregnant. She's had problems with this pregnancy..." She turned to Felix again, grabbing his arm. "Fuck the stuff. We can come back for the stuff another time. We need to get over there."-
Covet: Cadence was starting to stir a little but she was crying and mumbling about being in pain, her arms moving to her stomach.// Felix sighed and nodded his head, "Right, sorry. I just figured that she needed it for her animals, and if she's going to be stuck at the hospital....someone was going to need to check in on them." He rambled as he watched the paramedics. // They nodded, "alright, her blood pressure is high, she could be pre-eclamptic, we need to get her to the hospital where they can monitor her." They said getting her loaded onto the gurney.
Alexithymiaa: "We'll figure it out. We'll... call someone. I don't know." She said, exhaling deeply and running her hand back through her hair as she watched them load Cadence up. "We have to go. We have to get over there. We need to be there." She said slightly hysterical, grabbing Felix's arm to give it a shake.-
Covet: Cadence was doing her thing on her way to the hospital int he ambulance. // Felix nodded his head and helped get steph out to his jeep so that they could get over to the hospital to meet Caence there. "C'mon, we'll get there." // On their way to the hospital they continued to check Cadence's vitals. The more she came around the more she was able to speak up, "Not the Baby... please not the baby..." She was crying and saying over and over. The paramedics continued to reassure Cadence that everything was fine with the baby, though the heart rate was a little high on the fetal monitor.
Alexithymiaa: -She limped as fast as she could on her crutch out to Felix's Jeep, taking his hand so she could get up into the passenger seat. "Hurry up!" She yelled at him, tapping her hands repeatedly on the dashboard.-
Covet: "I'm going as fast as I legally can!" Felix said as he upped his speed just a little making his way to the hospital. Once there her parked and went to help Steph out of the vehicle so he could help her along. // They got Cadence into the dock and unloaded off of the ambulance, rushing her into the ER already hooked up to the mandatory fluids and other monitoring equipment. She was near hyperventilating at this point because she was completely freaked out worried about the baby as well as the fact that Remy wasn't here, and where was Steph and Felix, the whole idea of being alone right now not easing her freak out any either.
Alexithymiaa: -She threw the door open when he pulled into the lot, slipping down out of the Jeep, she limped along as fast as she could toward the entrance of the hospital, her pulse hammering in her ears. "Where did they take her?" She asked him frantically before limping over to the receptionist to yell at her too. "Cadence Berkoff! Where is she?"-
Covet: Felix walked in with her, "They might not have her in yet....She just came in on the ambulance I think. Pregnant woman..." // The receptionist looked up at Steph, "I'm sorry, I haven't recieved any information on that name, but we did just have a pregnant woman come in, they took her straight to the ICU. That's all I have right now. Are you family or friends?" She asked, because they were going to be paper work that needed to be started. // The longer the doctor's weren't able to answer Cadence's questions the more she was freaking out which wasn

Covet: * wasn't doing her or the baby any favors. This was causing her stats to spike and the doctor called out for a sedative to get her to calm down and put her out so they could monitor her and the baby without all the histerics.
Covet: *Hysterics
Alexithymiaa: "That's her!" She yelled the second the receptionist said they had a pregnant woman come in, because obviously there's only one pregnant woman in all of Portland. Sure. "ICU?" She questioned, her voice cracking as she chewed on the inside of her cheek. "Family. We're family. Does that mean we can see her as soon as she's in?"-
Covet: Felix put his hands on Steph's shoulders and gave them a squeeze, he was nervous for Steph's concern because she'd never seen her this freaked out. "ICU isn't necessarily something terrible. Don't let yourself get too worried." // "He's right. If she's pregnant they would have taken her there regardless." The receptionist answered and handed her a clip board with all the patient info, though they could easily look her up in the sytem for any of the information once they had her name. // They began running the different medications to help stabilize her and the baby working hard and diligently to keep her from entering labor early.
Alexithymiaa: -She flinched when he put his hands on her shoulders since she was so incredibly wound up, taking the clipboard from the receptionist hastily. She started to scribble Cadence's information onto the paper, trying to look through her blurry tears as she rambled. "I have to call Remy. And Tyler. They need to know what's going on and where she is. They need to know..." She took a deep breath, trying to chill since now she was the one overheating despite the AC blasting in the hospital. Clearly we don't do well in emergencies. It's okay, me neither. I'm useless.-
Covet: "I'll send Remy a text, that's one less person you'll have to contact." Felix said trying to help where he could. // Once they had Cadence situated in a room they came out to let Steph and Felix know so they could go back to be with her. Cadence was hooked up to monitors and the IV drip, there's a monitor strapped around her stomach as she lays there, knocked out from the sedative.
Alexithymiaa: "Thank you." She'd just gotten off the phone with Tyler when they came out to tell them she was in a room and stable. Exhaling a huge sigh of relief, she situated herself with her crutch and started after the nurse, walking alongside Felix to head to Cadence's room. "I'm not going anywhere. You can go home and feed the animals and sleep, but I'm staying here." Turning into Cadence's room, she saw her lying in the bed all hooked up, the anxiety of hospitals in general creeping into her chest. She stepped forward, limping to Cadence's bedside to fall into a chair, pursing her lips as she just stared at her.-
