gushing_granny: so, its been about a day since we last left our hero

gushing_granny: "grrr...."

gushing_granny: dan is standing there, concentrating

gushing_granny: he is standing roughly 10 meters from a large cube, seemingly made out of rock

gushing_granny: "let see how far i get it this time"

gushing_granny: dan thrusts his hand forward, and a intense shockwave extends from his palm

gushing_granny: it impacts the cube, and the cube explodes

gushing_granny: "oh......shit"

gushing_granny: a ray of electricity arcs across the room, and it hits dan in the back

gushing_granny: "fuuuuuuuuckkk!!!!"

gushing_granny: the master calls out from across the room "you know that wouldnt happen if you were any good at controlling your pulse right?" he gestures to the cloud of dust that was once the cube

gushing_granny: "shut up old man!"

gushing_granny: another ray of electricity arcs across the room, but dan briskly dodges it this time

gushing_granny: "hmph. i dont have to take this shit from you!"

gushing_granny: dan widens his stance

gushing_granny: he thrusts one arm forward

gushing_granny: "KA"

gushing_granny: "ME"

gushing_granny: "um, i mean....DESTRON BEAM"

gushing_granny: a large wave of ghostly white energy blasts from dans palm, it soars across the room

gushing_granny: "wait...what?"

gushing_granny: the master looks at the beam "this fking noob."

gushing_granny: he catches the wave of energy with his hand, it bubbles around his arm

gushing_granny: "see this shit dan?"

gushing_granny: the master splits the mass of energy into three orbs, and then sends them flying at a breakneck speed back toward dan "THIS IS WHY YOU DONT GET SO RAMBUNCTIOUS ABOUT CONTROLLING ENERGY"

gushing_granny: "ohhhh, fuck"

gushing_granny: dan thrusts his arm forward, a small shock wave extends outward from his hand

gushing_granny: it manages to repel one of the orbs, but the other two impact dans chest

gushing_granny: "OOF"

gushing_granny: dan falls over

gushing_granny: "at least it wasnt my face."

gushing_granny: the master flies over to dan, and helps him up

gushing_granny: fast forward about an hour, dan and the master are conversing over food, akos is there too because he likes hanging around them if you havent noticed that already

gushing_granny: "oh hey there akos!" dan says

gushing_granny: "sup."

gushing_granny: dan looks away from akos

gushing_granny: "so, um, master....."

gushing_granny: "why was the attack i did just a few minutes ago white?"

gushing_granny: the master sighs

gushing_granny: "its because you think you are top shit, when in fact you still suck at everything when it comes to energy."

gushing_granny: "what? i learned how to control energy in 6 days, cut me some fucking slack for once."

gushing_granny: "you learned how to produce energy, not control it."

gushing_granny: dan frowns

gushing_granny: "big difference, child."

gushing_granny: "you know, ive noticed that you always call me a child whenever you start looking down on me."

gushing_granny: "and?"

gushing_granny: dan looks over at akos, akos is distracted by something else outside the window, this makes dan frown again

gushing_granny: "whatever."

gushing_granny: "forget about that....my real question is, why the hell cant i use destron anymore?"

gushing_granny: "its because you suck."

gushing_granny: dan facepalms "i know that much genius."

gushing_granny: the master calmly takes a sip of his clear alien beverage

gushing_granny: "ive been telling you, you cant go too fast when it comes to learning how to use energy."

gushing_granny: "what else is there to learn? just control the pulse and....poof."

gushing_granny: "there are many intricacies to energy. billions of techniques and applications that you will never even hope to learn child."

gushing_granny: "pfft."

gushing_granny: "i know about all those 'intricacies'"

gushing_granny: "you've already explained it to me, what else is there to learn?"

gushing_granny: "you want to know?"

gushing_granny: dan nods

gushing_granny: "do you really want to know?"

gushing_granny: dan nods again, this time frowning

gushing_granny: the master sighs, then stands up

gushing_granny: "dont blink or you may miss it."

gushing_granny: the masters extends his arm over the table

gushing_granny: his 6 alien digits begin to writhe

gushing_granny: he holds them together within his pulse, and after a few seconds, his entire arm changes into what seems like a large vine

gushing_granny: "what the fuck" dan gets up from his chair abruptly

gushing_granny: the vine, now replacing the masters arm continues to grow, until it reaches across the entire table and flicks dans forehead

gushing_granny: "oww"

gushing_granny: it then quickly retracts, and turns back into the masters arm, steam seems to be rising from his pores after it makes the transformation

gushing_granny: "....."

gushing_granny: "how the fuck did you do that?"

gushing_granny: the master sits back down "see, told you. you know nothing about energy."

gushing_granny: a few hours pass

gushing_granny: akos leaves to go do little boy stuff

gushing_granny: dan and the master are training again

gushing_granny: "so...you say that if i concentrate hard enough, i can produce new techniques just by thinking about it?"

gushing_granny: dan dodges a punch, and he back flips away

gushing_granny: the master advances toward dans right side "no, no, im saying that by applying the concepts of kan art to your training, you may create things that you may never have thought possible"

gushing_granny: the master kicks at dans stomach, dan side steps it and shoots a shockwave from his palm, knocking the master back "oh i get it, so if i train hard enough, i can create new techniques"

gushing_granny: the master back steps away from dan at a blazing speed "yes, that is the jist of it"

gushing_granny: "i can even control destron again?"

gushing_granny: dan lunges at the master, a mass of white energy encircling his arm

gushing_granny: "of course. any energies you feel within yourself, you may draw out, as long as you know what is available to you"

gushing_granny: the mass of energy forms into a small white sword, dan grasps it and slices at the masters head "awesome, i got some pretty neat ideas for energy already"

gushing_granny: the master lifts up his hand and blocks the slice with his finger "hmm, i havent seen this one yet"

gushing_granny: "mhm."

gushing_granny: dan begins furiously slicing at the master with the energy sword, the master blocks every single strike with his finger

gushing_granny: "damn it!!"

gushing_granny: dan steps back from the master and throws the sword of energy at him, the master casually side steps it

gushing_granny: "now, if you want to see a real energy sword....."

gushing_granny: the master extends his arm out to his side

gushing_granny: "kan art, eidechse feuer schwert!"

gushing_granny: dan steps back "how the hell do you know german...."

gushing_granny: a giant longsword made of a bright, radiant flame appears in the masters hand, he turns it around his wrist, smirking at dan

gushing_granny: "....." dan gulps

gushing_granny: the master points the sword at dan "on guard!"

gushing_granny: dan flinches "oh fuck" he quickly discharges a large amount of energy into his pulse, forming it into two large swords, shining a ghostly white

gushing_granny: the master flies at dan "lets see what you got."

gushing_granny: dan brandishes his swords, holding them infront of him awakwardly

gushing_granny: "....."

gushing_granny: dan begins running at the master at full speed

gushing_granny: "aaaaaaahh!"

gushing_granny: the master brings his flame sword forward, it strikes the hilt of one of dans swords, it dissipates in a small explosion of energy

gushing_granny: "grr, bastard!"

gushing_granny: dan clutches his remaining sword with both hands and tries to swing at the master, but he blocks it with his flame blade

gushing_granny: the master holds dans weight back with ease "having fun?"

gushing_granny: dan and the master slide back from each other as they shift their pulses around their blades

gushing_granny: "hmm, so have you figured out you can empower your strikes by utilizing your pulse?"

gushing_granny: "....sort of."

gushing_granny: dan slices at the air, a narrow shockwave slips forward from his blade

gushing_granny: it bends and twists in the air as it advances toward the master

gushing_granny: "hmph. maybe you've made more progress in this week than i thought."

gushing_granny: he catches the shockwave with his hand, after a few seconds, its energy disperses

gushing_granny: "gotta try....again"

gushing_granny: dan creates another white blade of energy and clashes with the masters blade of flame

gushing_granny: the master blocks dans repeated assault with no difficulty

gushing_granny: "...damn."

gushing_granny: dan pants as he backsteps away from the master

gushing_granny: "huff.....huff....ill never hit you...."

gushing_granny: dan begins flooding his mind with his darkest emotions and memories

gushing_granny: "without it....."

gushing_granny: a spark of bright blue energy escapes into dans pulse

gushing_granny: "no....from....before"

gushing_granny: dan closes his eyes, the master looks at him puzzled

gushing_granny: "i think this...."

gushing_granny: dan pulls the void stone out of his pocket

gushing_granny: "will help....."

gushing_granny: a massive bright blue aura appears around dan

gushing_granny: "what the....he can still use it?"

gushing_granny: the master watches dan intently

gushing_granny: "grr....its not....."

gushing_granny: dans eyes begin to glow

gushing_granny: "the..."

gushing_granny: a howling wind rushes throughout the dark room

gushing_granny: dan widens his stance

gushing_granny: "SAME!!!!"

gushing_granny: dan clutches the black stone, it begins to melt and wrap itself around dans fingers

gushing_granny: "i can.....feel it....slipping...."

gushing_granny: dans bright blue aura begins to turn dark blue

gushing_granny: the master watches dan closely, whispering to himself "you are not ready child. but still, lets see what you can do with your new ability."

gushing_granny: dan begins to scream valiantly, his massive dark blue aura waving around the room, creating shockwaves that shake the floor with its intensity

gushing_granny: the void stone continues to melt, it latches onto dans hand

gushing_granny: "I FEEL IT"

gushing_granny: dan begins to twitch from the pain

gushing_granny: "....."

gushing_granny: "he forgot about the backlash from using it. hmph."

gushing_granny: dan grunts loudly

gushing_granny: "NO"

gushing_granny: dans eyes are pulsating blue

gushing_granny: "I CAN CONTROL IT"

gushing_granny: the mass of blue energy boils around his arm

gushing_granny: "i can see....how it moves through my body now.....with my pulse....yes, it makes sense now"

gushing_granny: more of the energy begins to surround his arm

gushing_granny: dans pulse begins to extend

gushing_granny: "DESTRON SABRE"

gushing_granny: a large sword appears infront of dan, made completely of the dark blue energy

gushing_granny: it latches on to dans pulse, infront of his hand

gushing_granny: "......."

gushing_granny: he waves the sword forward quickly, a massive shockwave rockets forward, breaking several objects around the room, the master holds his sword forward to block it, exerting difficulty in keeping his stance

gushing_granny: the master looks up at dan, smirking "this may be trouble."

gushing_granny: dan looks up at the master, his eyes returning to their normal color "lets see what you've got."

gushing_granny: the master and dan rush each other, thrusting their swords at each other furiously
