  1. Places like that shouldn't exist in the real world, I mean not in America at least right? They should be in like Eastern European country in the mountains where no one even has electricity or radios; or like around the Caspian sea somewhere right; or deep in the mountains of Asia, Siberia, some fucking place that doesn't have fucking television, cars, or the god damned internet. This shit has no business being anywhere near...I...I mean...my head hurts and I feel dizzy; huh...what happened? Who am I? Oh sorry, my names is Alicia Tambore, I run the youtube channel Tambore's Spooky Adventures. I mean the channel is my account, but my friends Beth and Stacy, along with my boyfriend Mike and his friend Jeff also help with the cameras and equipment. We've really expanded from when we started out just goofing off in cemetaries. We even have a patreon and hope to get onto a real network some day. We actually make enough to go around the country, well special episodes anyway, most of our stuff is in state and a few nearby states.

  3. Everyone looks up different places and we take requests and comments. Especially patreon pledge requests. So we got this anonomous pledge of a thousand dollars to check out this haunted old mansion with its own cemetary by this small town in Colorado up in the Rocky Mountains. So we packed up the gear in the van and headed there. The town is called Pine Pass, it honestly looked like a tourist trap like some old German fairytale village squeezed into the mountain. Which to be honest also made it look alot more high end than we were expecting. We were expecting some typical small town, a Wal-mart, gas stations, dollar stores near the road but typical houses and low income properties off the road but this whole place looked like a resort. There were no signs of any big name stores just mom & pop resturaunts, a bait shop for the small lake nearby, place to rent boats; basically we felt like we had been tricked being told it was a small no name town; but the state of the place does explain why there would be some large property just up the road.

  5. We did some interviews with locals, we found out the whole town is basically time shares and get aways for alot of upper middle class type rich people, and possibly some really rich people. So not really a town but a fancy getaway. Most of them were surprised to see us there, or would ask us who invited us, some of these people were actually pretty rude about that; total assholes. But in the end we did learn about the property we came to examine, the old mansion was a hotel back in the 1950s but before that it had been a private property for a genuine town; Pine Pass had apparently started off as a trading spot for fur trappers, hunters, and loggers. But ended up trading all that in selling the land to wealthy land owners just looking to get in on the fads of the 1950s where the emerging middle class was looking for all sorts of vacation spots. We had seen a few other places like that, failed amusement parks, dried out dead lakes, ghost towns that were once hot sports. In short the whole town is basically wealthy creating a fake "yokal" town to attract even wealthier patrons to come visit. Which yeah the place did not feel authentic, high priced upscale foods in a mom and pop's, coffee shops, internet cafe, it really felt like the kind of town you'd find either around a high end college or inside an amusement park. Honestly the town its self was creepy like that; we really felt like outsiders walking around some pretend yuppy...I guess larping as the poor; it just felt wrong. Hell I don't think there was even a school in the town, no one raised kids there; not that we saw any. Like I said, it just felt fake.

  7. All that said the mansion we had gone there for was up the road, like I said it had been the home of the original mayor or something, expanded on, and turned into a hotel before it was shut down. We naturally drove up to the mansion, it was smaller than I expected, but then again the image in my head was that giant hotel on a cliff you see in so many movies or the one from (The Shining), about half that size but still pretty big. It didn't look worn down or even abandoned; Mike was worried the place wasn't actually abandoned and someone still lived there. A look around the grounds though and it was clear no one was cutting the grass or trimming back trees. There was a pool that still had water in it but it was murky, foul smelling stagnant water and the odd frog or toad. Probably had snakes in it too. So yeah we headed inside, the front door wasn't even locked. However we did have reason to re think what we were doing as while there was no electricity, not a problem we're used to using generators and batteries on these ghost hunts; the house was fully furnished and not dusty or anything. We didn't really get a chance to get a good look around however as...as....my god how...why, it doesn't....*yawn*, I mean Beth and Stacy went upstairs and...I...I...I never saw them again. I don't know what happened to them; Jeff too he went scope out some of the downstairs rooms with a handheld camera but he never came back. Mike and I were double checking the equipment in the van when we heard the screams; we rushed back inside calling for them but...instead there was this lady, she had to be eight feet tall, wearing a white dress and a wide brim hat; she looked like she belonged in some Noir movie, but...I...I...Mike...she had him in her hands and...she sank her teeth into his shoulder. She said...something but...I don't...I don't remember. I ran but...the doors were locked...I can't remember, but I ran into rooms, tried banging on windows, I managed to break one and get out the back and ran around to the front. I got in the van and drove, leaving the equipment on the ground. I...I was in shock, my hands were shaking as I parked and tried to call 911 but...there was no signal; that didn't make sense. The town should have had a tower but when I drove back, it wasn't like before, no people, it looked so fancy, but now it was just empty run down wooden shacks. I..I don't want to remember this please...don't make me remember...I only want to remember it was a yuppy town...and some crazies in the mansion ambushed us...I reported that...I told you...why...please stop making me remember the truth.
