- So, some really weird/shady shit happened earlier that I find really fascinating.
- YoongiToday at 3:09 AM
- We are watching a documentary because one of my classmates is taking the test I took yesterday
- And the teacher is giving grades
- BainToday at 3:09 AM
- Had a phone interview with a company that's been interested in me. I looked into them, and while it does seem to actually exist, noone's ever left a review for them. I thought that was weird.
- YoongiToday at 3:09 AM
- Wtf
- BainToday at 3:09 AM
- So I dug a bit deeper, and... I'm not sure why, but it consistently leads to one thing:
- Scourge/AatamiToday at 3:09 AM
- Odd...
- BainToday at 3:09 AM
- greece.
- Scourge/AatamiToday at 3:09 AM
- Bad sign
- YoongiToday at 3:09 AM
- Even more wtf
- BainToday at 3:10 AM
- Even the guy who interviewed me spoke Greek as his first language.
- Yeah.
- Alexander HamilgenToday at 3:10 AM
- Well why were they interviewing you?
- BainToday at 3:10 AM
- For a company promising as much pay as these guys are, coming from such a poor country doesn't exactly look good.
- So I could work as a customer service associate for them.
- DagirkeranToday at 3:10 AM
- Probably a 'we'll pay you to scam people' situation
- BainToday at 3:10 AM
- It's like
- real estate investment
- or smth
- DagirkeranToday at 3:11 AM
- That explains it
- You don't get paid unless you actually sell real estate
- If you get no sales you get no money
- BainToday at 3:11 AM
- It's not a sales position.
- DagirkeranToday at 3:11 AM
- oh
- Scourge/AatamiToday at 3:11 AM
- Weird...

- DagirkeranToday at 3:14 AM
- All links lead to that exact address
- BainToday at 3:15 AM
- look for the reviews of it.
- Also... Note something really weird here.
- DagirkeranToday at 3:15 AM
- Yelp has nothing
- BainToday at 3:15 AM
- It's in Georgia.
- Why is it saying land in Spain?
- Wrong continent.
- Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:15 AM
- wot?
- WTF
- YoongiToday at 3:15 AM
- Yeah, true
- Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 3:15 AM
- company machine broke
- YoongiToday at 3:16 AM
- Also you have the greek language
- land in Spain
- location in Georgia
- How tf does that connect
- DagirkeranToday at 3:16 AM
- Who fucking knows
- RilleToday at 3:16 AM
- I did a WhoIs on their host site and they went way out of their way to restrict all access to their company hosting information by using Moniker on everything
- YoongiToday at 3:16 AM
- It feels fake as hell
- Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:16 AM
- mhm
- DagirkeranToday at 3:16 AM
- Probably some illicit stuff going on with it if they're that secretive
- That or it's fake

- CALL THE GOVERNMENT
- jk
- DagirkeranToday at 3:17 AM

- They're perfectly legitimate but very scared someone might do something to them if they release any real info
- Alexander HamilgenToday at 3:17 AM

- BainToday at 3:17 AM
- Look at the 2nd page of the google search
- bc things get
- interesting
- DagirkeranToday at 3:17 AM
- Cyprus?
- The hell?
- Oh hey spanish
- RilleToday at 3:18 AM
- According to their "About Us" page they originated in Cyprus
- BainToday at 3:18 AM
- Alright, so
- they originated in Cyprus, greece
- now have an office in Atlanta, Georgia
- so that's
- DagirkeranToday at 3:18 AM
- They started in 2000 apparently
- BainToday at 3:18 AM
- one HELL of an expansion
- like WOW
- sounds awesome, they're international (just like they said!) so...
- Why can't I find anything on them?
- Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:19 AM
- This looks very sketchy
- BainToday at 3:19 AM
- Beyond the same paragraph, copied and pasted?
- Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:19 AM
- everything about the company just screams sketchy
- YoongiToday at 3:19 AM
- I found a deleted domain name

- It's not real.
- RilleToday at 3:19 AM
- That sounds MLM-y
- DagirkeranToday at 3:19 AM
- And you got what sort of contact with them?
- BainToday at 3:19 AM
- this shit's sketchier than Kitsu's notebook
- phone interview
- and yeah
- DagirkeranToday at 3:19 AM
- They call or you call?
- BainToday at 3:20 AM
- this shit seems so sketch
- they call
- DagirkeranToday at 3:20 AM
- How did you set up the interview anyways?
- BainToday at 3:20 AM
- emails
- like, setting up the interview was perfectly normal tbh
- DagirkeranToday at 3:20 AM
- And what did the emails entail initially? Nothing weird at all?
- YoongiToday at 3:20 AM
- Btw page 9 of google search is worth mentioning
- BainToday at 3:20 AM
- the interview itself, as well, was perfectly normal until I started asking them questions
- oh? :eyes:
- DagirkeranToday at 3:20 AM
- What happened when asking questions?
- There's no 9th page for me
- Only 3
- BainToday at 3:21 AM
- dude seemed surprised by my questions -- "why do you like working here?" "why did you originally want this job?"
- and mentioned his first language was Greek in conversation
- RilleToday at 3:21 AM
- Their "We are hiring" and "Our business" buttons go to the same page what kind of sloppy design is this
- YoongiToday at 3:21 AM
- You need to search again
- Google trims the search
- DagirkeranToday at 3:22 AM
- Yeah when I click 9 from researching it just says it doesn't exist
- BainToday at 3:22 AM
- I hit show omitted results, went to like 6
- DagirkeranToday at 3:22 AM
- I'm on 9 now
- There's a .gov site
- BainToday at 3:22 AM
- :nani:
- oh
- this?
- DagirkeranToday at 3:22 AM
- A pdf titled- that
- Also the untitled below it
- BainToday at 3:22 AM
- how tf did i post an image here
- wat
- RilleToday at 3:23 AM
- One of their partners is kyero.com which is a realtor agency in Spain
- DagirkeranToday at 3:23 AM
- Definitely weird
- RilleToday at 3:23 AM
- And thinkspain.com
- YoongiToday at 3:24 AM
- There are also 'Untitled' .gov pages
- RilleToday at 3:24 AM
- This kind of feels like a "pitch the time shares and then back out" thing
- BainToday at 3:24 AM
- tbh, I think that's what it is -- if it's even slightly legit
- YoongiToday at 3:25 AM
- There are MANY .gov pages
- RilleToday at 3:25 AM
- You know, the old property scam where you get people to buy property in another country and then once the money has finished processing it gets offloaded into another bank account and then a little bit later the buyer is informed they can't legally buy property in another country like that and their assets can't be returned
- BainToday at 3:25 AM
- Oh my god.
- That makes a lot of sense
- actually
- hence why it's selling property in Spain
- which feels... really random
- doesn't it?
- RilleToday at 3:27 AM
- It has offices in Cyprus and the US, but sells partnered property on three separate property portals in Spain, rather than any properties in their host countries?
- BainToday at 3:27 AM
- ... $19 an hour pay offer
- If real
- Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:28 AM
- o.o
- RilleToday at 3:28 AM
- Feels heavily of a "we regret to inform you that we have been informed you cannot legally own property in Spain due to your US/Greek citizenship and your assets have been seized by the government"
- DagirkeranToday at 3:28 AM
- Report it to the government if it's illegal shit
- RilleToday at 3:28 AM
- Followed by profuse apologies and then paying a small amount of money back to the 'buyer' "as a show of good-will and as an apology" out of "our own funding"
- Captaining scams are old as time. :warShrug:
- YoongiToday at 3:31 AM
- This feels like some Scooby Doo shiz
- RilleToday at 3:31 AM
- That's just how it's feeling to me, their site looks way too built-off-a-template with no clear information of anything and they aren't selling properties anywhere in the countries their offices are in, all their registrar information has been Moniker'd to oblivion and their reactions to being asked why they like to work there was surprise like they don't have anything in a script for that.
- Even if there's some legitimacy to their business, the way they go about it and they way they present themselves feels too shady to make it worth associating.
- ...hold on. They say their US office is in Atlanta, GA. But their registrar code points to FANANDRIA OFFICE LLC which is a Florida-based LLC?
- YoongiToday at 3:35 AM
- I knew it was some fake ass stuff
- RilleToday at 3:35 AM
- With their mailing address set to a Georgia address
- And the location of their filing office in Georgia is...
- The Lenox Center in Atlanta, Georgia, with no business listing markers on the building for them, and no such name on the Offices pillar outside the Lenox Center.
- ACT INC, State Farm, Howeli Rusk Dodson Architects, Szabo, Associates Inc, and the Primrose School of Buckhead, but nothing about them.
- BainToday at 3:38 AM
- Wait, what?
- RilleToday at 3:39 AM
- Their US location has a registrar number on their site, that registrar number is registered to a Florida LLC with a Georgia mailing address, and at that mailing address is the Lenox Center at the Peachtree Office Suites, which has no listing for such a company on their registrar board.
- The registrar date is October 2018 and the Google Maps entry for the location is December 2018 but there is no signs of such a place existing there.
- BainToday at 3:42 AM
- Can you send me a link showing this?
- esp that list of companies you had there
- DagirkeranToday at 3:45 AM
- More and more illegal sounding by the second
- BainToday at 3:47 AM
- Also found a concerning sentence buried in the PDF they sent me
- it's 4am cut me some slack asdf
- "US Customer Service Specialist will also help the company to reduce the overheads of taxation expenses for the company" this sounds like a scam
- 100%
- Definitely one they put effort into, but like
- wow was it easy to find holes in it
- Trejar (CE-1019861204TR)Today at 3:48 AM
- Ya that sounds like Scammer territory.
- Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 3:49 AM
- It is 100%
- Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:50 AM
- That’s a scam alright
- BainToday at 3:55 AM
- Looking at a sample of what their HQ's office looks like
- yeah
- this is fake 100%
- it's probably not their exact one, but still
- Rille is the MVP
- RilleToday at 3:56 AM
- Actually, the site advertising office spaces in that building has more than one office picture and they're all small, definitely not a "multinational company" office HQ
- Scourge/AatamiToday at 3:57 AM
- Crafty scammers..
- DagirkeranToday at 3:57 AM
- Hard not to expect it to be a scam with how they presented themselves
- Scourge/AatamiToday at 3:58 AM
- Very true
- BainToday at 3:59 AM
- All of their office spaces they mentioned felt very small, really.
- I'm tempted to call the Georgia one
- to see if they're actually even there
- ask like
- the owner or someshit
- RilleToday at 4:00 AM
- It was clearly shady from the start but I wanted to get a full breakdown of how many places they weren't making sense at. Their claims are high, yet their designs are simple, their business is done by partnerships with questionable property sites for Spain, their offices registered to their business are inconsistent with their registration locations, their supposed HQ locations don't look anything like what their claims would support and one doesn't even show them existing at all, it all reeks very heavily of "shell company" coverage and property "captaining".
- It's entirely possible that Fanandria Properties Limited is a shell company itself for a larger company, rather than the ones doing the shelling.
- BainToday at 4:01 AM
- I knew something was off, but this hits the nail on the head. You're fucking amazing, man.
- Thanks for looking into this for me
- bc I was debating on giving it a shot, but... Yeesh.
- Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh.
- DagirkeranToday at 4:03 AM
- Good thing we have someone who can look into stuff like that so well
- RilleToday at 4:06 AM
- OH HO
- I found one more little morsel
- DagirkeranToday at 4:06 AM
- OHO?
- BainToday at 4:06 AM
- :eyes:
- RilleToday at 4:07 AM
- The business is owned by William Salmon, who has an office in Aventura, Florida. The address registered to their registrar location is at a UBS building in Aventura. UBS is better known as UBS Wealth Management USA.
- Thomas JeffersonToday at 4:08 AM
- This very sketchy
- RilleToday at 4:08 AM
- UBS Wealth Management is an investment advisory firm
- BainToday at 4:08 AM
- Are you saying this is a front for UBS?
- I think I recognize this logo.
- RilleToday at 4:08 AM
- At the end of the day, it’s not just about wealth. It’s about what your wealth can accomplish. Together, you and your UBS Financial Advisor can help prepare your financial life for today, tomorrow and generations to come—so you can stay focused on what matters most, no matter what the markets are doing. That’s our focus as the world’s largest wealth management firm.*
- DagirkeranToday at 4:08 AM
- It's a front by the looks of it
- The spiel reads the exact same as what was pulled up earlier isn't it?
- BainToday at 4:09 AM
- Started in 2000 as a local real estate investment company Fanandria Properties Limited has come through almost all steps of development and at this time is one of the most compelling contestants on its domestic market. Possessing diverse experience in all housing details the company does not.. This?
- It does read similar, I suppose
- RilleToday at 4:10 AM
- Either they are getting registered help FROM UBS to manage their finances, or they are a registered agent OF UBS and that would mean the are a "make the most money you can" financial advisor.
- Which would fall in line with a "invest in these properties" scheme.
- And again, this "Mr. William Salmon" is registered as being both in the UBS building and in the Lenox building.
- So if you break away all the layers surrounding it, it all boils down to a man named William Salmon whose business is moving money.
- DagirkeranToday at 4:12 AM
- Definitely sounds like there's a money laundering scheme somewhere in there
- RilleToday at 4:13 AM
- So with all that considered, I feel like it's a property investments and turnarounds scheme.
- BainToday at 4:13 AM
- Interesting note: Is William Salmon their real name, I wonder
- RilleToday at 4:14 AM
- I looked up the white pages for that too.
- BainToday at 4:14 AM
- It looks quite common.
- DagirkeranToday at 4:14 AM
- William is a common name
- Salmon is a fish and I've never heard of anyone with a fish last name
- inb4 this server gets nuked and your house raided over this
- Thomas JeffersonToday at 4:14 AM
- I think I once met someone with a fish as a last name an that name sounds familiar
- Or it could be déjà vu
- RilleToday at 4:15 AM
- There is a William D Salmon registered in the Georgia white pages as living in Peachtree Corners, which is near the Lenox Building.
- DagirkeranToday at 4:15 AM
- So that checks out but it could be a fake registered name still for all we know
- BainToday at 4:15 AM
- Well
- William Salmon was an Australian painter who died last year, Diamond
- Thomas JeffersonToday at 4:16 AM
- OOOH NOW I REMEMBER
- BainToday at 4:16 AM
- But it just seems like a common name
- Thomas JeffersonToday at 4:16 AM
- THATS WHERE I REMEMBER IT FROM
- Lmao imagine how funny it would be to find out someone got all this info on your “company”
- ...from a furry RP server

- Dag got hit with a flashbang
- DagirkeranToday at 4:18 AM
- You're LOUD
- BainToday at 4:18 AM
- a bunch of people pretending to be fluffy robots on the internet, in less than an hour, debunking this guy's entire craft
- tho it's mostly Rille's work
- RilleToday at 4:18 AM
- And having looked up the actual home address of the one William Salmon that fits, they live in a quiet little suburban area in a rather nice little house.
- BainToday at 4:19 AM
- But that raises the question -- Cyprus?
- DagirkeranToday at 4:19 AM
- Now reverse search the address and see if there's unrelated residents?
- Could be laziness on the government listings
- RilleToday at 4:20 AM
- That was the current listed address for the person according to the most recent White Pages entry, 18 minutes from the Lenox building.
- "Why Cyprus" is the question there.
- DagirkeranToday at 4:21 AM
- It said this 'company' started in Cyprus, right?
- BainToday at 4:21 AM
- Sadly, anything there will be in Greek.
- Furthermore, one govt. document I tried to translate just wouldn't
- I don't know greek
- but it looked like it was just a registration for a business
- Thomas JeffersonToday at 4:24 AM
- How did we get from this feels sketchy to this is a scam
- BainToday at 4:24 AM
- the magic of research
- Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 4:26 AM

- RilleToday at 4:27 AM
- Hey I am an adult I am fully within my right conduct background checks. I think. I haven't consulted with the police on that.
- BainToday at 4:27 AM
- :eyes:
- dude the deeper we get
- Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 4:27 AM
- I'm not participating in this just saying
- BainToday at 4:27 AM
- the more interested I am
- RilleToday at 4:27 AM
- Because Fanandria doesn't just have a realtor agency, there's a construction company too.
- BainToday at 4:28 AM
- Wait
- Why would they have a construction company?
- RilleToday at 4:29 AM
- Fanandria Constructions Limited
- Whose map registry points to a veterinarian's office.
- They also have a tourist agency
- Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 4:30 AM
- man this shit crazy
- RilleToday at 4:30 AM
- Tourism, construction, realty...it's wrapping right back around to good ol timeshare scams.
- BainToday at 4:30 AM
- Fanandria Constructions Limited last updated on March 21, 2013
- in Cyprus
- Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 4:30 AM
- Lmao
- RilleToday at 4:30 AM
- The property site said they started in 2000, right?
- BainToday at 4:30 AM
- That
- is true
- RilleToday at 4:31 AM
- "FANANDRIA TOURIST ENTERPRISES LIMITED" has a registrar date of 1992.
- DagirkeranToday at 4:31 AM
- You're legally allowed to conduct background checks on companies that wish to affiliate themselves with you
- Or any public company as well
- RilleToday at 4:32 AM
- As of 2006, FANANDRIA TOURIST ENTERPRISES LIMITED was marked "Registered and operational"
- So a company owns and operates a tourist enterprise, a construction company, and a realtor's agency. The only industry that would need all of those, along with an out-of-country point of appeal, would be condominium and timeshare schemes. There's even an investment agency to give people a little nudge to just do it.
- DagirkeranToday at 4:34 AM
- So they're a whole ring of bullshit
- On a side note
- I'm five seconds away from blocking mee6
- RilleToday at 4:35 AM
- It's all one big web of schemes to get people to let go of their hard earned money for "a place in paradise" built at bottom dollar most likely.
- BainToday at 4:35 AM
- all by William Salmon?
- and Markos Efstathiou
- DagirkeranToday at 4:36 AM
- Buy for top dollar and have your purchase immediately 'reclaimed by the government' I presume?
- RilleToday at 4:36 AM
- William Salmon is just the US branch of it. Markos Efstathiou, Fanos Efstathiou, Kostas Chatzikotstis, and Andrea Ioannou Pipera are all registered to the three different other branches.
- They're all directors and secretaries
- BainToday at 4:36 AM
- Hm.
- RilleToday at 4:38 AM
- And all 3 of those Fanandria agencies are registered to the one building with tiny offices for rent.
- Two to the same flat even.
- DagirkeranToday at 4:38 AM
- Fun.
- BainToday at 4:39 AM
- That's absurd. I wonder how many employees they truly have
- RilleToday at 4:39 AM
- So it's my conclusion, after a whole lot of digging, that this is some quick profit scam company who gets to use their not-existing-in-Spain status to swerve laws.
- BainToday at 4:40 AM
- Though that does explain why they're asking people to work from home

- And for my last nail on it. - perform global and target arket analysis for the HQ. They can't even spell-check their website right, what's an arket
- DagirkeranToday at 4:40 AM
- As much as 19 an hour sounds wonderful, it's fishy
- As in
- Don't
- RilleToday at 4:41 AM
- - to provide constant legal support to the closed-type representative office.
- - develop and maintain vast clients data-bases and report directly to the Cyprus-based HQ.
- - perform global and target arket analysis for the HQ.
- - extend clientelle list by request.
- So study the market, expand to new markets, and start making calls to target audiences

- I should also include a sentence from the PDF that caught my attention.
- "US Customer Service Specialist will also help the company to reduce the overheads of taxation expenses for the company"
- DagirkeranToday at 4:42 AM
- You showed that to us already
- And the way they say that sounds illegal as hell
- BainToday at 4:42 AM
- yeah
- I showed that to you, Dag, but idk if I posted it here
- RilleToday at 4:43 AM
- "REduce the overheads of taxation expenses" means they get to avoid international tax and trade costs because you're a local officer, which is...tax evasion.
- BainToday at 4:43 AM
- lmao
- DagirkeranToday at 4:43 AM
- Which is illegal
- RilleToday at 4:44 AM
- You're doing business for the Cyprus HQ, it blatantly says it. But you're a US officer doing it, so you're technically local, which is a tax dodge that they don't have to pay for, sooo...
- BainToday at 4:44 AM
- This entire thing's a tax evasion scheme.
- RilleToday at 4:44 AM

- The whole thing just shaped up to be a max-profit minimum-tax system to "maximize your wealth", at least for the people who get to handle the money
- By dancing around tax and property laws internationally.
- :rlol:
- BainToday at 4:45 AM
- I have a feeling they probably wouldn't exactly pay, either.
- DagirkeranToday at 4:46 AM
- It's less a 'maximize your wealth' thing and a 'let's use you to maximize our wealth'
- RilleToday at 4:46 AM
- Ah this has been fun, I haven't gotten to do an investigative breakdown in ages.
