  1. BainToday at 3:08 AM
  2. So, some really weird/shady shit happened earlier that I find really fascinating.
  3. YoongiToday at 3:09 AM
  4. We are watching a documentary because one of my classmates is taking the test I took yesterday
  5. And the teacher is giving grades
  6. BainToday at 3:09 AM
  7. Had a phone interview with a company that's been interested in me. I looked into them, and while it does seem to actually exist, noone's ever left a review for them. I thought that was weird.
  8. YoongiToday at 3:09 AM
  9. Wtf
  10. BainToday at 3:09 AM
  11. So I dug a bit deeper, and... I'm not sure why, but it consistently leads to one thing:
  12. Scourge/AatamiToday at 3:09 AM
  13. Odd...
  14. BainToday at 3:09 AM
  15. greece.
  16. Scourge/AatamiToday at 3:09 AM
  17. Bad sign
  18. YoongiToday at 3:09 AM
  19. Even more wtf
  20. BainToday at 3:10 AM
  21. Even the guy who interviewed me spoke Greek as his first language.
  22. Yeah.
  23. Alexander HamilgenToday at 3:10 AM
  24. Well why were they interviewing you?
  25. BainToday at 3:10 AM
  26. For a company promising as much pay as these guys are, coming from such a poor country doesn't exactly look good.
  27. So I could work as a customer service associate for them.
  28. DagirkeranToday at 3:10 AM
  29. Probably a 'we'll pay you to scam people' situation
  30. BainToday at 3:10 AM
  31. It's like
  32. real estate investment
  33. or smth
  34. DagirkeranToday at 3:11 AM
  35. That explains it
  36. You don't get paid unless you actually sell real estate
  37. If you get no sales you get no money
  38. BainToday at 3:11 AM
  39. It's not a sales position.
  40. DagirkeranToday at 3:11 AM
  41. oh
  42. Scourge/AatamiToday at 3:11 AM
  43. Weird...

  116. BainToday at 3:14 AM
  117. it's when I dig in, do things get really weird
  118. DagirkeranToday at 3:14 AM
  119. Started in 2000 as a local real estate investment company Fanandria Properties Limited has come through almost all steps of development and at this time is one of the most compelling contestants on its domestic market. Possessing diverse experience in all housing details the company does not..

  129. I found this
  130. https://bestpropertymutuals.com/
  131. Fanandria Properties offers great options for investments
  132. Information delivered and analyzed by Fanandria Properties analytical dept. proved that Spain real estate market is worth entering and exploring.
  133. DagirkeranToday at 3:14 AM
  134. All links lead to that exact address
  135. BainToday at 3:15 AM
  136. look for the reviews of it.
  137. Also... Note something really weird here.
  138. DagirkeranToday at 3:15 AM
  139. Yelp has nothing
  140. BainToday at 3:15 AM
  141. It's in Georgia.
  142. Why is it saying land in Spain?
  143. Wrong continent.
  144. Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:15 AM
  145. wot?
  146. WTF
  147. YoongiToday at 3:15 AM
  148. Yeah, true
  149. Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 3:15 AM
  150. company machine broke
  151. YoongiToday at 3:16 AM
  152. Also you have the greek language
  153. land in Spain
  154. location in Georgia
  155. How tf does that connect
  156. DagirkeranToday at 3:16 AM
  157. Who fucking knows
  158. RilleToday at 3:16 AM
  159. I did a WhoIs on their host site and they went way out of their way to restrict all access to their company hosting information by using Moniker on everything
  160. YoongiToday at 3:16 AM
  161. It feels fake as hell
  162. Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:16 AM
  163. mhm
  164. DagirkeranToday at 3:16 AM
  165. Probably some illicit stuff going on with it if they're that secretive
  166.
  167. That or it's fake
  168. YoongiToday at 3:16 AM
  169. CALL THE GOVERNMENT
  170. jk
  171. DagirkeranToday at 3:17 AM
  172. OR
  173. They're perfectly legitimate but very scared someone might do something to them if they release any real info
  174. Alexander HamilgenToday at 3:17 AM
  175. If it were me I’d just steer clear of it
  176. BainToday at 3:17 AM
  177. Look at the 2nd page of the google search
  178. bc things get
  179. interesting
  180.
  181. DagirkeranToday at 3:17 AM
  182. Cyprus?
  183. The hell?
  184. Oh hey spanish
  185. RilleToday at 3:18 AM
  186. According to their "About Us" page they originated in Cyprus
  187. BainToday at 3:18 AM
  188. Alright, so
  189. they originated in Cyprus, greece
  190. now have an office in Atlanta, Georgia
  191. so that's
  192. DagirkeranToday at 3:18 AM
  193. They started in 2000 apparently
  194. BainToday at 3:18 AM
  195. one HELL of an expansion
  196. like WOW
  197. sounds awesome, they're international (just like they said!) so...
  198. Why can't I find anything on them?
  199. Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:19 AM
  200. This looks very sketchy
  201. BainToday at 3:19 AM
  202. Beyond the same paragraph, copied and pasted?
  203. Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:19 AM
  204. everything about the company just screams sketchy
  205. YoongiToday at 3:19 AM
  206. I found a deleted domain name
  207. it was fanandria.com
  208. idk if that has something to do with them tho
  209. RilleToday at 3:19 AM
  210. Join us today and plant the first seed of your wealth. Working with Fanandria Properties Limited is the primary decision on the road to financial prosperity.
  211. Scourge/AatamiToday at 3:19 AM
  212. I agree!
  213. If it seems to good to be true
  214. It's not real.
  215. RilleToday at 3:19 AM
  216. That sounds MLM-y
  217. DagirkeranToday at 3:19 AM
  218. And you got what sort of contact with them?
  219. BainToday at 3:19 AM
  220. this shit's sketchier than Kitsu's notebook
  221. phone interview
  222. and yeah
  223. DagirkeranToday at 3:19 AM
  224. They call or you call?
  225. BainToday at 3:20 AM
  226. this shit seems so sketch
  227. they call
  228. DagirkeranToday at 3:20 AM
  229. How did you set up the interview anyways?
  230. BainToday at 3:20 AM
  231. emails
  232. like, setting up the interview was perfectly normal tbh
  233. DagirkeranToday at 3:20 AM
  234. And what did the emails entail initially? Nothing weird at all?
  235. YoongiToday at 3:20 AM
  236. Btw page 9 of google search is worth mentioning
  237. BainToday at 3:20 AM
  238. the interview itself, as well, was perfectly normal until I started asking them questions
  239. oh? :eyes:
  240. DagirkeranToday at 3:20 AM
  241. What happened when asking questions?
  242. There's no 9th page for me
  243. Only 3
  244. BainToday at 3:21 AM
  245. dude seemed surprised by my questions -- "why do you like working here?" "why did you originally want this job?"
  246. and mentioned his first language was Greek in conversation
  247. RilleToday at 3:21 AM
  248. Their "We are hiring" and "Our business" buttons go to the same page what kind of sloppy design is this
  249. YoongiToday at 3:21 AM
  250. You need to search again
  251. Google trims the search
  252. DagirkeranToday at 3:22 AM
  253. Yeah when I click 9 from researching it just says it doesn't exist
  254. BainToday at 3:22 AM
  255. I hit show omitted results, went to like 6
  256. DagirkeranToday at 3:22 AM
  257. I'm on 9 now
  258. There's a .gov site
  259. BainToday at 3:22 AM
  260. :nani:
  261. oh
  262. this?
  263.
  264. DagirkeranToday at 3:22 AM
  265. A pdf titled- that
  266. Also the untitled below it
  267. BainToday at 3:22 AM
  268. how tf did i post an image here
  269. wat
  270. RilleToday at 3:23 AM
  271. One of their partners is kyero.com which is a realtor agency in Spain
  272. DagirkeranToday at 3:23 AM
  273. Definitely weird
  274. RilleToday at 3:23 AM
  275. And thinkspain.com
  276. YoongiToday at 3:24 AM
  277. There are also 'Untitled' .gov pages
  278. RilleToday at 3:24 AM
  279. This kind of feels like a "pitch the time shares and then back out" thing
  280. BainToday at 3:24 AM
  281. tbh, I think that's what it is -- if it's even slightly legit
  282. YoongiToday at 3:25 AM
  283. There are MANY .gov pages
  284. RilleToday at 3:25 AM
  285. You know, the old property scam where you get people to buy property in another country and then once the money has finished processing it gets offloaded into another bank account and then a little bit later the buyer is informed they can't legally buy property in another country like that and their assets can't be returned
  286. BainToday at 3:25 AM
  287. Oh my god.
  288. That makes a lot of sense
  289. actually
  290. hence why it's selling property in Spain
  291. which feels... really random
  292. doesn't it?
  293. RilleToday at 3:27 AM
  294. It has offices in Cyprus and the US, but sells partnered property on three separate property portals in Spain, rather than any properties in their host countries?
  295. BainToday at 3:27 AM
  296. ... $19 an hour pay offer
  297. If real
  298. Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:28 AM
  299. o.o
  300. RilleToday at 3:28 AM
  301. Feels heavily of a "we regret to inform you that we have been informed you cannot legally own property in Spain due to your US/Greek citizenship and your assets have been seized by the government"
  302. DagirkeranToday at 3:28 AM
  303. Report it to the government if it's illegal shit
  304. RilleToday at 3:28 AM
  305. Followed by profuse apologies and then paying a small amount of money back to the 'buyer' "as a show of good-will and as an apology" out of "our own funding"
  306. Captaining scams are old as time. :warShrug:
  307. YoongiToday at 3:31 AM
  308. This feels like some Scooby Doo shiz
  309. RilleToday at 3:31 AM
  310. That's just how it's feeling to me, their site looks way too built-off-a-template with no clear information of anything and they aren't selling properties anywhere in the countries their offices are in, all their registrar information has been Moniker'd to oblivion and their reactions to being asked why they like to work there was surprise like they don't have anything in a script for that.
  311. Even if there's some legitimacy to their business, the way they go about it and they way they present themselves feels too shady to make it worth associating.
  312. ...hold on. They say their US office is in Atlanta, GA. But their registrar code points to FANANDRIA OFFICE LLC which is a Florida-based LLC?
  313. YoongiToday at 3:35 AM
  314. I knew it was some fake ass stuff
  315. RilleToday at 3:35 AM
  316. With their mailing address set to a Georgia address
  317. And the location of their filing office in Georgia is...
  318. The Lenox Center in Atlanta, Georgia, with no business listing markers on the building for them, and no such name on the Offices pillar outside the Lenox Center.
  319. ACT INC, State Farm, Howeli Rusk Dodson Architects, Szabo, Associates Inc, and the Primrose School of Buckhead, but nothing about them.
  320. BainToday at 3:38 AM
  321. Wait, what?
  322. RilleToday at 3:39 AM
  323. Their US location has a registrar number on their site, that registrar number is registered to a Florida LLC with a Georgia mailing address, and at that mailing address is the Lenox Center at the Peachtree Office Suites, which has no listing for such a company on their registrar board.
  324. The registrar date is October 2018 and the Google Maps entry for the location is December 2018 but there is no signs of such a place existing there.
  325. BainToday at 3:42 AM
  326. Can you send me a link showing this?
  327. esp that list of companies you had there
  328. DagirkeranToday at 3:45 AM
  329. More and more illegal sounding by the second
  330. BainToday at 3:47 AM
  331. Also found a concerning sentence buried in the PDF they sent me
  332. it's 4am cut me some slack asdf
  333. "US Customer Service Specialist will also help the company to reduce the overheads of taxation expenses for the company" this sounds like a scam
  334. 100%
  335. Definitely one they put effort into, but like
  336. wow was it easy to find holes in it
  337. Trejar (CE-1019861204TR)Today at 3:48 AM
  338. Ya that sounds like Scammer territory.
  339. Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 3:49 AM
  340. It is 100%
  341. Thomas JeffersonToday at 3:50 AM
  342. That’s a scam alright
  343. BainToday at 3:55 AM
  344. Looking at a sample of what their HQ's office looks like
  345. yeah
  346. this is fake 100%
  347. it's probably not their exact one, but still
  348. Rille is the MVP
  349. RilleToday at 3:56 AM
  350. Actually, the site advertising office spaces in that building has more than one office picture and they're all small, definitely not a "multinational company" office HQ
  351. Scourge/AatamiToday at 3:57 AM
  352. Crafty scammers..
  353. DagirkeranToday at 3:57 AM
  354. Hard not to expect it to be a scam with how they presented themselves
  355. Scourge/AatamiToday at 3:58 AM
  356. Very true
  357. BainToday at 3:59 AM
  358. All of their office spaces they mentioned felt very small, really.
  359. I'm tempted to call the Georgia one
  360. to see if they're actually even there
  361. ask like
  362. the owner or someshit
  363. RilleToday at 4:00 AM
  364. It was clearly shady from the start but I wanted to get a full breakdown of how many places they weren't making sense at. Their claims are high, yet their designs are simple, their business is done by partnerships with questionable property sites for Spain, their offices registered to their business are inconsistent with their registration locations, their supposed HQ locations don't look anything like what their claims would support and one doesn't even show them existing at all, it all reeks very heavily of "shell company" coverage and property "captaining".
  365. It's entirely possible that Fanandria Properties Limited is a shell company itself for a larger company, rather than the ones doing the shelling.
  366. BainToday at 4:01 AM
  367. I knew something was off, but this hits the nail on the head. You're fucking amazing, man.
  368. Thanks for looking into this for me
  369. bc I was debating on giving it a shot, but... Yeesh.
  370. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh.
  371. DagirkeranToday at 4:03 AM
  372. Good thing we have someone who can look into stuff like that so well
  373. RilleToday at 4:06 AM
  374. OH HO
  375. I found one more little morsel
  376. DagirkeranToday at 4:06 AM
  377. OHO?
  378. BainToday at 4:06 AM
  379. :eyes:
  380. RilleToday at 4:07 AM
  381. The business is owned by William Salmon, who has an office in Aventura, Florida. The address registered to their registrar location is at a UBS building in Aventura. UBS is better known as UBS Wealth Management USA.
  382. Thomas JeffersonToday at 4:08 AM
  383. This very sketchy
  384. RilleToday at 4:08 AM
  385. UBS Wealth Management is an investment advisory firm
  386. BainToday at 4:08 AM
  387. Are you saying this is a front for UBS?
  388. I think I recognize this logo.
  389. RilleToday at 4:08 AM
  390. At the end of the day, it’s not just about wealth. It’s about what your wealth can accomplish. Together, you and your UBS Financial Advisor can help prepare your financial life for today, tomorrow and generations to come—so you can stay focused on what matters most, no matter what the markets are doing. That’s our focus as the world’s largest wealth management firm.*
  391. DagirkeranToday at 4:08 AM
  392. It's a front by the looks of it
  393. The spiel reads the exact same as what was pulled up earlier isn't it?
  394. BainToday at 4:09 AM
  395. Started in 2000 as a local real estate investment company Fanandria Properties Limited has come through almost all steps of development and at this time is one of the most compelling contestants on its domestic market. Possessing diverse experience in all housing details the company does not.. This?
  396. It does read similar, I suppose
  397. RilleToday at 4:10 AM
  398. Either they are getting registered help FROM UBS to manage their finances, or they are a registered agent OF UBS and that would mean the are a "make the most money you can" financial advisor.
  399. Which would fall in line with a "invest in these properties" scheme.
  400. And again, this "Mr. William Salmon" is registered as being both in the UBS building and in the Lenox building.
  401. So if you break away all the layers surrounding it, it all boils down to a man named William Salmon whose business is moving money.
  402. DagirkeranToday at 4:12 AM
  403. Definitely sounds like there's a money laundering scheme somewhere in there
  404. RilleToday at 4:13 AM
  405. So with all that considered, I feel like it's a property investments and turnarounds scheme.
  406. BainToday at 4:13 AM
  407. Interesting note: Is William Salmon their real name, I wonder
  408. RilleToday at 4:14 AM
  409. I looked up the white pages for that too.
  410. BainToday at 4:14 AM
  411. It looks quite common.
  412. DagirkeranToday at 4:14 AM
  413. William is a common name
  414. Salmon is a fish and I've never heard of anyone with a fish last name
  415. inb4 this server gets nuked and your house raided over this
  416. Thomas JeffersonToday at 4:14 AM
  417. I think I once met someone with a fish as a last name an that name sounds familiar
  418. Or it could be déjà vu
  419. RilleToday at 4:15 AM
  420. There is a William D Salmon registered in the Georgia white pages as living in Peachtree Corners, which is near the Lenox Building.
  421. DagirkeranToday at 4:15 AM
  422. So that checks out but it could be a fake registered name still for all we know
  423. BainToday at 4:15 AM
  424. Well
  425. William Salmon was an Australian painter who died last year, Diamond
  426. Thomas JeffersonToday at 4:16 AM
  427. OOOH NOW I REMEMBER
  428. BainToday at 4:16 AM
  429. But it just seems like a common name
  430. Thomas JeffersonToday at 4:16 AM
  431. THATS WHERE I REMEMBER IT FROM
  432. Lmao imagine how funny it would be to find out someone got all this info on your “company”

  467. DagirkeranToday at 4:18 AM
  468. You're LOUD
  469. BainToday at 4:18 AM
  470. a bunch of people pretending to be fluffy robots on the internet, in less than an hour, debunking this guy's entire craft
  471. tho it's mostly Rille's work
  472. RilleToday at 4:18 AM
  473. And having looked up the actual home address of the one William Salmon that fits, they live in a quiet little suburban area in a rather nice little house.
  474. BainToday at 4:19 AM
  475. But that raises the question -- Cyprus?
  476. DagirkeranToday at 4:19 AM
  477. Now reverse search the address and see if there's unrelated residents?
  478. Could be laziness on the government listings
  479. RilleToday at 4:20 AM
  480. That was the current listed address for the person according to the most recent White Pages entry, 18 minutes from the Lenox building.
  481. "Why Cyprus" is the question there.
  482. DagirkeranToday at 4:21 AM
  483. It said this 'company' started in Cyprus, right?
  484. BainToday at 4:21 AM
  485. Sadly, anything there will be in Greek.
  486. Furthermore, one govt. document I tried to translate just wouldn't
  487. I don't know greek
  488. but it looked like it was just a registration for a business
  489. Thomas JeffersonToday at 4:24 AM
  490. How did we get from this feels sketchy to this is a scam

  492. the magic of research
  493. Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 4:26 AM
  494. The magic of kids with too much time on their hands
  495. RilleToday at 4:26 AM
  496. I just keep digging and digging, I found an ex-director
  497. Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 4:26 AM
  498. dammit guys stop this is the fbis job not ours
  499. RilleToday at 4:27 AM
  500. Hey I am an adult I am fully within my right conduct background checks. I think. I haven't consulted with the police on that.
  501. BainToday at 4:27 AM
  502. :eyes:
  503. dude the deeper we get
  504. Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 4:27 AM
  505. I'm not participating in this just saying
  506. BainToday at 4:27 AM
  507. the more interested I am
  508. RilleToday at 4:27 AM
  509. Because Fanandria doesn't just have a realtor agency, there's a construction company too.
  510. BainToday at 4:28 AM
  511. Wait
  512. Why would they have a construction company?
  513. RilleToday at 4:29 AM
  514. Fanandria Constructions Limited
  515. Whose map registry points to a veterinarian's office.
  516. They also have a tourist agency
  517. Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 4:30 AM
  518. man this shit crazy
  519. RilleToday at 4:30 AM
  520. Tourism, construction, realty...it's wrapping right back around to good ol timeshare scams.
  521. BainToday at 4:30 AM
  522. Fanandria Constructions Limited last updated on March 21, 2013
  523. in Cyprus
  524. Mitternacht (ME-0758945378MT)Today at 4:30 AM
  525. Lmao
  526. RilleToday at 4:30 AM
  527. The property site said they started in 2000, right?
  528. BainToday at 4:30 AM
  529. That
  530. is true
  531. RilleToday at 4:31 AM
  532. "FANANDRIA TOURIST ENTERPRISES LIMITED" has a registrar date of 1992.
  533. DagirkeranToday at 4:31 AM
  534. You're legally allowed to conduct background checks on companies that wish to affiliate themselves with you
  535. Or any public company as well
  536. RilleToday at 4:32 AM
  537. As of 2006, FANANDRIA TOURIST ENTERPRISES LIMITED was marked "Registered and operational"
  538. So a company owns and operates a tourist enterprise, a construction company, and a realtor's agency. The only industry that would need all of those, along with an out-of-country point of appeal, would be condominium and timeshare schemes. There's even an investment agency to give people a little nudge to just do it.
  539. DagirkeranToday at 4:34 AM
  540. So they're a whole ring of bullshit
  541. On a side note
  542. I'm five seconds away from blocking mee6
  543. RilleToday at 4:35 AM
  544. It's all one big web of schemes to get people to let go of their hard earned money for "a place in paradise" built at bottom dollar most likely.
  545. BainToday at 4:35 AM
  546. all by William Salmon?
  547. and Markos Efstathiou
  548. DagirkeranToday at 4:36 AM
  549. Buy for top dollar and have your purchase immediately 'reclaimed by the government' I presume?
  550. RilleToday at 4:36 AM
  551. William Salmon is just the US branch of it. Markos Efstathiou, Fanos Efstathiou, Kostas Chatzikotstis, and Andrea Ioannou Pipera are all registered to the three different other branches.
  552. They're all directors and secretaries
  553. BainToday at 4:36 AM
  554. Hm.
  555. RilleToday at 4:38 AM
  556. And all 3 of those Fanandria agencies are registered to the one building with tiny offices for rent.
  557. Two to the same flat even.
  558. DagirkeranToday at 4:38 AM
  559. Fun.
  560. BainToday at 4:39 AM
  561. That's absurd. I wonder how many employees they truly have
  562. RilleToday at 4:39 AM
  563. So it's my conclusion, after a whole lot of digging, that this is some quick profit scam company who gets to use their not-existing-in-Spain status to swerve laws.
  564. BainToday at 4:40 AM
  565. Though that does explain why they're asking people to work from home
  566. RilleToday at 4:40 AM
  567. And for my last nail on it. - perform global and target arket analysis for the HQ. They can't even spell-check their website right, what's an arket
  568. DagirkeranToday at 4:40 AM
  569. As much as 19 an hour sounds wonderful, it's fishy
  570. As in
  571. Don't
  572. RilleToday at 4:41 AM
  573. - to provide constant legal support to the closed-type representative office.
  574. - develop and maintain vast clients data-bases and report directly to the Cyprus-based HQ.
  575. - perform global and target arket analysis for the HQ.
  576. - extend clientelle list by request.
  577. So study the market, expand to new markets, and start making calls to target audiences
  578. BainToday at 4:42 AM
  579. I should also include a sentence from the PDF that caught my attention.
  580. "US Customer Service Specialist will also help the company to reduce the overheads of taxation expenses for the company"
  581. DagirkeranToday at 4:42 AM
  582. You showed that to us already
  583. And the way they say that sounds illegal as hell
  584. BainToday at 4:42 AM
  585. yeah
  586. I showed that to you, Dag, but idk if I posted it here
  587. RilleToday at 4:43 AM
  588. "REduce the overheads of taxation expenses" means they get to avoid international tax and trade costs because you're a local officer, which is...tax evasion.
  589. BainToday at 4:43 AM
  590. lmao
  591. DagirkeranToday at 4:43 AM
  592. Which is illegal
  593. RilleToday at 4:44 AM
  594. You're doing business for the Cyprus HQ, it blatantly says it. But you're a US officer doing it, so you're technically local, which is a tax dodge that they don't have to pay for, sooo...
  595. BainToday at 4:44 AM
  596. This entire thing's a tax evasion scheme.
  597. RilleToday at 4:44 AM
  598. That is literally turning workers into tax havens.
  599. The whole thing just shaped up to be a max-profit minimum-tax system to "maximize your wealth", at least for the people who get to handle the money
  600. By dancing around tax and property laws internationally.
  601. :rlol:
  602. BainToday at 4:45 AM
  603. I have a feeling they probably wouldn't exactly pay, either.
  604. DagirkeranToday at 4:46 AM
  605. It's less a 'maximize your wealth' thing and a 'let's use you to maximize our wealth'
  606. RilleToday at 4:46 AM
  607. Ah this has been fun, I haven't gotten to do an investigative breakdown in ages.
