Born to a financially stable family who highly values education, Soyun earns herself the undivided attention of her parents as they ensure she gets what it takes to have a bright future with a reputable job, eventually cleansing their tarnished family reputation after their first born daughter, Soyoung, failed them by conceiving in her final highschool year, dropping out of school to live the life of a typical housewife.

The memory of how her only elder sister became the talk of town, neighbors concluding poor parental guidance must have been the reason she got too intimately involved with a guy, leading to the unexpected, was still vivid in the back of her head. Soyun has been working all her life, under her strict parents' intense pressure, to lift the burden of that shame off her parent's shoulders. She studied hard, was always among the top graders, even got herself a scholarship to a reputable university in Seoul, pursuing a course on business management, yet never knew what her real goal in life was. She was simply following the instructions of her parents, making her only purpose of breathing is restoring her family's reputation.

"A bussiness course would earn you the utmost respect from people, it'll give your father the reason to brag about you," she remembers her father saying, which eventually led her to where she was.

Known to be the kindest, always with a radiant smile on, had the ability to lighten even the darkest moods, and quiet helpful to the troubled, people around her often took advantage of her well-being, who referred to her as a naive girl. She knew they were fake as they would never approach her unless they want something, but didn't have the will power to turn a cold shoulder on them. Objecting was never in her vocabulary, since she doesn't remember living her life for herself, she lived it for others (Her parents), fulfilling their wishes rather than following her heart.

She soon lost trust in everyone, including herself, who also lived without questioning what she truly desires in life. It was until she was in her second year of university, when she found a bunch of friends whom though couldn't completely trust, was comfortable to ramble some of her worries to them.

how did you get your mental health illness?:

It was when her first boyfriend )whom she was never sure if she loved him or not since she only dated him when he asked her out and thought why not give it a try) dumped her after she caught him cheating. When she asked why he did so, he responded bluntly without batting an eye, that it's because she was never able to fullfill his sexual desires (Soyun had her limits in their relationship as she feared repeating Her sister's mistake, failing Her parents)

Soyun got mad, not at the fact she was dumped, but that he did so without feeling guilty, or making excuses to try and not break up with her. She was also furious at the fact he called off their relationship before she could, when she had the right to dump him since it was her who caught him cheating.

Soyun concluded that once again, she was taken for granted. Unable to sleep, she calls one of her newly friends asking to meet if possible since its late. Her friend didn't decline her request, telling her that she herself was actually outdoors in that late hour. In a secluded area in the city with a couple of other weird strangers, she met two of her friends (One being the one she called) , who happened to be hanging out together that time. Not minding the creepy area and the unpleasant company of some hyper strange guys, she rambled on her recent horrible life events. Her friends concluded that her kind, good and easy image is the reason as to why people take her for granted, and use her for their benefit. They went on telling her on how she has never done a single thing for herself, also asking her if business was really the sector she dreamed of venturing.

The two are drug addicts and were snorting them at the moment, she knew about it, but could care less. Soon, one among them lent her a packet of powdered cocaine, telling her it's the solution to her current problems as it'll make her forget what happened, but Soyun declines, not until they conclude she's rejecting not because she genuinely doesn't want to give it a try, but because she needs to maintain the "good girl" image for the sake of her family. When she remained silent, they proceed daring her to do what she genuinely wants (giving drugs a try) if she really is tired of living the way she does. Taking it as a challenge to herself in ending her miserable way of life, for the first time she decides to listen to her heart, thus sniffing from the packet of cocaine they just gave her

Days pass, her body desires more of it and in no time, she got addicted. It's been 2 years since then. Her lively personality soon started depleting, making her look and feel miserable than ever

why did you want to join the young renegades program?:

For two years, Soyun was still unable to find happiness. The sole reason why she concluded she should live the life she genuinely wants was to be happy, but drugs only granted her a temporary gateway from her worries, once the effect of it is gone, she feels 10 times miserable, as if she fell from cloud 9 to the merciless ground of earth.

She concludes that the first step she should take to shaping herself was to end her drug addiction.

Through searching online, when she thought enough was enough.

how did you and your love interest meet?:

Minhyuk is among the fund raisers of the program, since a few years ago he too suffered from mental health issues, and this club was of great help to him hence he's been sponsoring it. Therefore, he attends the club meetings and is among those who give the members hope in fighting their illnesses.

-Perhaps a scene where they're all seated and talk of their life difficulties (maybe like a few days after giving introductions, to cut off the formalities) and she realises she isn't the only one who's life is horrible. This makes her emotional, her eyes get teary.
-When misunderstandings happen, she'll be among those trying to make ends meet (depends on you, it's just a suggestion XD)
-How she tries to understand the other members' mental health issues through the way they act, and compare them to herself.
-She probably will be that member who'd put on a "brave" mask to hide her hardships, since that's one thing she's good in. (she'll probably be among the most mysterious members)

-In one of their sessions (where they share their problems, progress and are being given advices) the first time Minhyuk decides to lead their sessions, she'll be admiring how wisely he talks and how caring he seems.
-Him being curious about her since she shares the least, and unlike others, rarely socializes with him since she's aware she developed a crush on him, thus thinks avoiding him would be a better alternative to hide her feelings or get rid of them (she doesn't want to repeat the same mistake she did with her first boyfriend)
-Id like to see how their relationship progresses, and how she slowly learns to trust him.
-Perhaps she'll be the first to confess her feelings, after her new friends (which she made in this club) advise her to do so, and he'll first reject her cause he ain't sure of his feelings, assuming all he feels for her is sympathy, just like what he feels for the other members. Later on, he'd realise he was wrong and did like her.

-How her parents constantly warn her not to go astray, and always listen to them cause they don't want another Soyoung case.
-She feeling a little guilty as she shares a conversation with her mother, and she speaks of how proud she is of Soyun that she's made it this far in life and once again, she can say she was a good mother to her (feeling guilty cause she's a drug addict yet her mother sees her as an angel)
-Soyoung visiting their house, and as they have a family get together, and there is when we notice how she's salty that her parents prefer Her younger sibling over her.
-In the end after she's overcame her drug addiction, she will confess all her worries to her mother, telling her she'd like to live a life she desires, and do what she likes, and her mother will realise the mistakes she did thus assure her that she'll support her in whatever she wants.

Also, I'd like this character's role mainly being that person who's trying to rediscover themselves, finding out their true ambitions and what they want in life. Perhaps later, she'd realise she's actually intrested in interior designing rather than business.
