- Now that I've had a week to consider everything going on, and now that I've cooled off from earlier, I'm going to be a little more rational.
- I am quitting speedrunning.
- I invested a LOT into this hobby. However, as time went on, I began to realize that this was turning more into a chore than it was a hobby. Hobbies should always be fun, and speedrunning was not fun for me anymore. I felt like my skills in games defined everything about me. I felt like a timer had to dictate how I played a game. This wasn't what I had in mind when I first began. In order for my sanity to remain intact, I need to stop. I need to enjoy video games again. Therefore, I am quitting speedrunning.
- As for what I'm doing next? I honestly have no freaking clue. I will still play video games. That won't change. But I will never play games for competitive purposes ever again. I don't know what new hobby I'll have to replace speedrunning, but hey, no telling what the future holds.
- My stream is going nowhere. I will still be a viewer in a lot of streams. However, my own streams will be rare from now on. I'll only stream if I feel like it. However, I'm no longer sticking to a schedule or anything like that.
- We might have differing opinions on how my speedrunning skills were, but that no longer matters. I would like to thank you all for watching me speedrun all 70+ games you saw on my channel. There were still some great memories we made, however, again, I need to move on. If you're not having fun with your hobby, find a new one. Don't turn it into a chore, no one likes doing chores.
- Anyways, that's really all that needs to be said. I could get into it more, but that'd take me all night. The point is that I'm moving on. Thank you.
