[04:36] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "It's somehow quite... Well..."
[04:36] Kirai Kurokaiyo asks, "Lewd. Isn't it?"
[04:36] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "... I'm not giving that question an answer."
[04:37] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "-And besides, well... I'll like to spar against you soon enough, anyway."
[04:37] Kirai Kurokaiyo asks, "Myself?"
[04:37] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "Yes.... I do not expect to win. However, I still want to see how far I have to climb."
[04:38] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Hmm..."
[04:38] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "If it's something you're determined to do, I've never been one to refuse a challenger. At least you understand that there is a time and place, for such things."
[04:38] Kirai Kurokaiyo asks, "...Speaking of not knowing the time and place for things, have you seen a white haired young man, named Naki?"
[04:39] Vincenzo Dillinger asks, "We've talked about that man before, haven't we?"
[04:39] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "We have."
[04:39] Vincenzo Dillinger asks, "I've seen him walking around, but he doesn't stay in the same place for long. The riot that happened not too long ago?"
[04:39] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "You told me you'd keep an eye and an ear out for me, if I could pay."
[04:39] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "He was the person they tried to arrest."
[04:39] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Hmm... So no solid information on where I might be able to find him. Bothersome."
[04:40] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "He's the only one to have beaten me in... Many years."
[04:40] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "I rather need to correct that."
[04:40] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "He sometimes frequents the area, but I can't tell when."
[04:41] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Hm. Well, if you see him again, perhaps suggest he seeks me out for a rematch."
[04:42] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "I underestimated him, and allowed myself to grow sloppy. A mistake I do not plan to make again."
[04:43] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "... I was there when you fought Caesar. The way you fight?... It is quite hard to track."

[04:53] Kirai considered Vincenzo's words, thinking fondly back to that night. The warmth of the bum-fire, the screaming of victims, the choking of a knight suffocating on his own insanity.

A small, nostalgic sigh leaves the man.

"I suppose you're right about that. The art of illusion is indeed manipulation. Manipulation of light, to blind your foes. Manipulation of thought, to confuse and control them. Manipulation of reality itself, if you can achieve the level of power I strive for..." Nodding solemnly, Kirai's smile spreads a bit wider at the thought.

"Though, I may not live to see that day. I am getting old, Vincenzo. However, I'm certain my children will surpass me in every way. Yami and Aki are both prodigies... One an accomplished time mage, the other already having mastered illusion almost to the same extent as I have..."

Trailing off, he'd wave his hand dismissively.

"You wanted a spar, no? And I believe the young lady down there in the field did too."

[05:00] The feline boy could sense the enjoyment coming out of Kirai as he reminisced about the fight against Caesar from back then. Good thing he has gotten a feeling of the man's possible blood lust before hand, or else it might have caused him to ever so slightly flinch.

It is interesting to note that Kirai points out even he can't survive against the side-effects of time. Guess everyone is growing old eventually, huh?

"Correct, I want to see your illusion magic from first hand experience. For now, that is what I seek." He answers Kira's question. When the conversation turns towards the tournament, the young boy can't help but remark. "Sadly, I couldn't attend that year. Perhaps for the best, anyway. There is still some growing that I have to do. Both in experience-" The boy then takes out a single, white flower- A poppylus, for those that are capable to make the distinction.

[05:01] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Hmm, indeed."
[05:01] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Well, once they are done with their little bout"
[05:01] Kirai Kurokaiyo asks, "We can have a go at it, hm?"
[05:01] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "Sounds good to me."
[05:02] puts the white flower back at it's place for now. "As for now, I currently mostly just use my fists and feet. We'll see how far that'll get me."

[05:02] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Indeed. It's a solid foundation, I assure you."
[05:03] Vincenzo Dillinger exclaims, "It did serve me well in the riot. Not much people can do when you kick them square in the face hard enough, heh!"
[05:04] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "... Most of the others have lost, however. Some were even taken custody after the whole ordeal."
[05:08] Holly had a little more trouble with Aranea than she did with Charlotte, but the end results was all the same in the end. This was one of the reasons to wished to spar with Kirai.

After having tapped into the earth's bounty, she wished to challenge herself further and further until she found herself irrefutably gaining strength and further manipulation over the flora around.

"You're going to be quite potent when you get older actually..."

She'd look to Kirai,

[05:18] Kirai Kurokaiyo exclaims, "Then enter next years tournament!"
[05:19] Vincenzo Dillinger asks, "... I'll have to fight against THAT magic then, if I'll join next year's tournament?"
[05:19] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "... I'm going to need a big cutting knife."
[05:19] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "Or sharpened enough fingers, heh."
[05:19] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "Guess it is me next."

[05:25] Kirai had indeed been forced to take the teenager seriously. Her ability to summon vines to fight for her, trees to heal her, and cast out choking spores made her a dangerous foe even at her age... If Kirai took his time and enjoyed toying with her, he'd be overcome.

Once he summoned his illusiory double though? It was over.

[05:25] Holly Hargrave says, "<<I want to learn that art...>>"
[05:25] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "Time for me to step in."

[05:29] Holly had finally lost her first fight - understandably so. Overwhelmed by the sort of darkness she was not used to and assaulted by unseen attacks... Her interest in the illusory arts just happened to spike even further.

The young lady spent a moment readjusting to light before setting her gaze to Kirai.

"Do I have to partake in the tournament for you to teach me?" She inquired, hoping that wasn't the case... Maybe she'd get her friends to convince him otherwise.

Asuka, Akira, Yami and Shinji were great people in their own ways...

She steps aside after asking such.

[05:30] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Indeed. You have to make it to the top 3 in the tournament, or somehow distinguish yourself if you wish to learn my style."
[05:30] Holly Hargrave asks, "Have I not done the latter at the moment?"
[05:30] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Not in the tournament. "
[05:30] Holly Hargrave says, "...I suppose that's true."
[05:30] stretches ups his right arm, walking straight in for the spar he wanted to do.

Then, standing right infront of Kirai, he takes his fighting style- And a simple one at that, due to no one actually teaching him how to fight:

Just his arms raised up to the same lengh- Around chin level-, with his right hand slightly more extended. Both palms are open, to further help with both grabbing, palm strikes, and just as importantly? Easier usage out of his claws.

Below the waist, it'll be his right feet that is extended forward, with the left leg slightly further back.

"Ready when you are." The feline boy crouches his upper body forward just a bit, ready to pounce...

[05:34] Accepting a spar with Vincenzo, Kirai might have... overestimated him, after the fight with Holly. He didn't hold back, well, at least not much. He never summoned forth his illusionary double, but, he also used every other move in his repertoire to put the young beastkin down.

"...I may have gotten carried away. Are you alright?"

[05:37] Vincenzo ended up completely overwhelmed throughout the fight! Even when he was still able to, very roughly, guess where his enemy is while blinded, even landing a couple solid hits while being blind- He just couldn't keep up with the man's experience, his claws at times even missing their mark, being just a bit out of range to nail the hit.

Soon enough, the boy fals down- He may have managed to physically touch Kirai, but it was clear that he didn't have enough power or experience to either overpower, or outlast him as a foe.

"Aaah… I'll... Be fine. Not my first beating."

[05:39] Kirai Kurokaiyo asks, "for now?"
[05:39] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "I should really get some rest myself. I chopped a lot of wood earlier."
