  3. Hatsu removes a small bag from his jacket, a 'cool' jingle of coins being heard as he sets it beside himself. His arms continued to remain folded, though his eyes remain locked upon the Rosenkreuz. He leans forward slightly, only for his arms to unfold and rest themselves along the top portion of his knees. His expression is neutral, but the annoyance in his features become that much prominent. "Beside me sits approximately three-thousand, five-hundred. You can take that, hand the weapon over and be left alone, or we can play the gambling game and see how fast you can move. I'm through being patient with you, Roanna." He states quietly.

  6. The woman's expression cools further. She didn't like the feeling of straight up extortion.

  8. "You're joking, right? I work my ass off to make a weapon for you and this is how you repay me?
  9.  
  10. I try to work things out when you're unhappy and instead you straight up extort me?"

  12. Roanna clicked her tongue with dismissal. Her eyes flicker over to Vel.

  14. "… I do hope this man isn't the sort of family you trust and keep. Bad business deals such as these might sour our good relationship and make further outfitting... unattractive."

  16. She wasn't dumb and pig-headed. Roanna knew she was at a disadvantage in a straight fight, but there were other bits of leverage she could use.

  21. Then, he glances between both Hatsu and Roanna, rolling his eyes uncaringly before floating off. He wasn't about to be caught in the middle of this, he just came out of boredom, and at this point he wanted to take a nap.

  26. Hatsu maintained his stance, though his expression drifts off into neutrality. This was not so much extortion as offering her a simplistic duo of paths to pick from. She could either accept the terms offered, or she could risk it all over the course of seven thousand coins. Either way, Hatsu would acquire what he required, his eyes never leaving Roanna as she attempted to speak out toward Vel. The Invidia was intent upon washing his hands clean of the matter, at the very least.

  28. "I am displeased with the amount of time it's taken, as well as the constant attempts to garner coin from me. I am indeed unhappy, but you're welcome to these choices. I am not forcing you to make one, but naturally one of them has some consequences. This sensation you feel is much the same as how I feel every time I have to negotiate with you on something. Everything has a cost, and you'll pay for it regardless. You can go back to living your quaint little life if you're able to set aside your pride and take the money. But if you're wholly consumed with the desire to fill your pockets..."

  33. "Well, a shame things have to be this way... You're fast, yes. But probably not fast enough to stop me from getting out the door, sadly." That was all she needed, and darted towards the exit. Getting outside would put this in her favor instantly. She was slow, yes. But all she needed was to get out that damn door.

  45. Hatsu studies Roanna as she attempts to flee the scene, sighing lightly as he comes to a stand. His hands remain within his pockets as a rush of ice abruptly surges forward, aiming to blockade her exit entirely, and ensure that her escape had gone off relatively poorly.It appears a decision had been made.

  120. Without warning, it became apparent that Hatsu wasn't going to let Roanna off loosely. When the matter came down to it, he never required the blade to begin with, but he had wanted to see how she would behave. Vel had ensured that his required arsenal would be fulfilled, and the one he currently wore was good enough for his desires. Flashes of red moonlight appear before the Wvelven in the midst of battle, sapping at his willpower steadily. The maddening whispers drove him into a frenzy, laughing psychotically as he unleashed waves of cosmic energies toward her. It was up until the point where he ate a massive blast of energy that he realized that he should probably take the battle seriously. He had known her to be a smith, but perhaps that was why he had impacted the nearby wall and created a Hatsu-sized indentation in it.

  122. Even so, he was not done yet, and pulled himself free of it with a grin. Sanguine ichor drips from the corner of his mouth as the whispers rise in volume, demanding freedom. The cursed weapon ran its course throughout his mind, plaguing him with the ideals of the damned, and he wholly accepted them as he conjured a massive sphere of energy above his head.

  124. With great prejudice, he launches it forward with enough force to collide into Roanna, crushing her left arm to a state of severe injury. Blood gathers along the confines of the room, with Hatsu standing before Roanna as he stares down at her crumpled form.

  126. The staff within his grasp glows with chaotic power, its origins becoming apparent as wisps of red cosmic energy radiate from it. "Congratulations on the weapons. I hope they're worth making an enemy out of me." He states quietly, having little else to say toward the woman. If she decided to take this course of action, her life was essentially forfeit if she crossed his path in the future.

  128. Disagreements quickly turned sour, and even Hatsu had limits of patience until he was pressed into a corner. Unfortunately for Roanna, she had tried to slip too much past him to be forgiven. She's left crumpled against the wall as he proceeds to walk away, leaving her to nurse her broken arm.
