- Use Squirtle (Charmander gets owned by Brock, Bulbasaur is slow ): )
- Mild or Rash only, 12+ Atk, 12+ Def on Mild, 28+ SpA, 21+ Speed
- Save, reset, set to Challenge Mode & 2x EXP before Rival 1
- catch 2 HM friends on R1 (you get too overlevelled otherwise)
- Fight no wilds or forest optionals
- Fight Liam (gets WG for Brock)
- Brock is free (slower than Onix), get Wartortle after Brock
- Sweep R3 (no Torrent needed, teach Bite over Bubble, fight Greg)
- Get Persim
- Fight Rocket Spinner (sweep w/ WG) to get L23 after Moon
- Get Mega Kick
- Get Candy in Cerulean
- Candy to L25 before Misty
- Misty is a stupid fight but winnable
- Same Rival 2 (maybe Kick Bulba?)
- Sweep bridge and R25 (fight Nob instead of Flint, Franklin instead of Wayne)
- Rival 3 is pretty bad with Mega Punch (Bite + Punch is range on Ivy?)
- Get L35 before Surge, Candy to L36 and evolve
- Surge is dumb. Pulse Voltorb, Kick Jolteon, Kick Buzz, Bite + Kick Raichu (Torrent useless, though you do outspeed everything)
