  4. The rules list is always in effect, but the ruling and enforcement of the rules is at the discretion of the staff team. ( If a staff member is abusing their power create an abuse thread ) Do not exploit loopholes / grey areas, staff ruling is final. (unless brought up on the forums)

  6. General Rules List
  7. 1. Respect other players (This applies to mods towards other players as well)
  8. 2. Do not abuse any exploits or glitches (Report them to a moderator)
  9. 3. Do not randomly kill a player (RDM)
  10. 3A. If you are killed in crossfire, this is not considered RDM
  11. 3B. If you use an explosive/molotov to kill one or few people and many other innocent bystanders die, it will considered RDM (Excludes killing the Fuhrer and raids).
  12. 4. Do not spam anything (voice/chat/props)
  13. 5. Racism and profanity are permitted in IC chat
  14. 5A. Racism is not permitted in OOC
  15. 6. Do not randomly attack or interfere with a player for no reason
  16. 7. Baiting Reich officials in any form is not permitted this includes:
  17. 7A. using 911 or /advert in a way which would tell them you are breaking laws
  18. 7B. Having your weapon out in the presence of a Reich official and firing the first shot. (This is not self defense, this is RDM.)
  19. 8. Weapons and printers are illegal unless stated in the law.
  20. 9. Kill on Sight Areas/Signs/Laws are not permitted
  21. 9A. You’re not permitted to make countries where players have to travel through to enter the map (From Spawn).
  22. 10. Checkpoints (Gates to "countries" or "embassies", etc.) can be blown up if you are raiding the faction/group/Reich that owns it
  23. 10A. Reich officials can make it AOS to run through checkpoints without law.
  24. 11. Do not purchase and remain the owner of buildings/doors for an extended period without any use (~ 10 Minutes)
  25. 12. Do not use all Caps in OOC
  26. 13. Do not suicide to avoid an RP Situation/regain health/fix legs
  27. 14. Playing music is permitted unless asked to stop
  28. 15. Your roleplay name cannot contain symbols, numbers, profanity, a random string on letters, or non-english letters.
  29. 16. You cannot roleplay as a Serial Killer, Terrorist, Hitman - this is FailRP
  30. 16A. You must have a valid reason to kill your target (Valid Mug/Raid)
  31. 17. You cannot scam people (Failure to supply a weapon/service they have paid for/failure to pay winners during gambling)
  32. 18. Reasonable amounts for mugging ranges between 2RM - 3000RM, with reasonable amount of time to respond (reasonable time is 10 seconds from when you made the demand)
  33. 19. Only areas behind owned doors are considered private property (Bank and theater are property of the banker and theater manager respectively)
  34. 19A. Everything else is public property and must be freely accessible to everyone (Countries/Embassies are exempt)
  35. 20. Selling/Trading in-game currency for real-life currency is prohibited.
  36. 21. OOC blackmail/bribing of other players is not allowed (Unjustified threats to make a gain or cause loss to another unless a demand is met or to gain influence)
  37. 22. Unused props must be deleted.
  38. 23. Do not link or provide NSFW, malware, or any illicit material at all
  39. 24. The Reich is AOS unless stated otherwise by the Fuhrer/laws.
  40. 25. Bodyblocking in any form is not permitted.

  42. MetaGame Rules:
  43. 2-1. Do not metagame (Using information outside of in-character roleplay)
  44. 2-2. Voice Chat in-game is considered in-character (even through walls)
  45. 2-2A. Admin/Mod talks with players are exempted.
  46. 2-2B. The following are also considered in-character: names above heads, job titles, door names
  47. 2-3. Objects jutting/clipping through walls are considered in-character
  48. 2-3A. Sounds heard through walls is considered in-character
  49. 2-4. Do not speak of IC manners in OOC or vice-versa
  50. 2-5. Advertisements in game are considered in-character
  51. 2-6. Reich official player models are in-character (You can identify a Reich officials job if they are wearing a skin exclusive to that job)

  53. New Life Rules (NLR):
  54. 3-1. No knowledge from your previous life may be used or discussed
  55. 3-2. Do not return to the spot of your death for 45 seconds (90 seconds to re-enter combat).
  56. 3-3. Do not affect roleplay around the region of your death for 60 seconds /
  57. 3-4. NLR is applied for suicides / jail deaths / any death
  58. 3-5. When changing your job from Reich to non Reich and vice versa NLR applies (Applies with OOC and IC demotions as well)

  60. Prop Rules: (Affects the entire building)
  61. 4-1. Do not abuse your props (surfing/climbing/killing/blocking)
  62. 4-1A. Hitbox Glitching/Shielding - Using a defence which completely obscures your body/head from your attackers while still allowing you to shoot at them; this includes shooting through one way props (This isn’t allowed)
  63. 4-1B. One Way Props are not permitted
  64. 4-2. Prop blocking is permitted as long as there is another clear entrance
  65. 4-2A. Prop Blocking any weapon/printer/entity is not permitted in any form
  66. 4-3. Prop tunnels and mazes are not permitted
  67. 4-3A. If you force a player to turn more than 3 times to pass an area or it takes a player more than 10 seconds to get through, then it will be considered a prop maze.
  68. 4-3B. If a crouch entrance is longer than 3 seconds to pass (without broken legs/being arrested), then it will be considered as a prop tunnel.
  69. 4-3C. You can have multiple crouch entrances in a row, but the total time to get through all of them cannot exceed the 3 second limit
  70. 4-4. Invisible / Dark / Hard to see entrances are not permitted
  71. 4-5. You are not permitted to no-collide a prop to use as a shield
  72. 4-5A. You may spawn a prop, if you roleplay it, to use as cover
  73. 4-6. Do not prop block connecting tunnels / main roads / Underground
  74. 4-7. Fire Patrols may prop climb to reach fires at a high distance
  75. 4-8. Defenses need to be visible
  76. 4-9. Sliding gates/doors/entrances are not allowed
  77.  
  78. Reich Rules:
  79. 5-1. You must have a warrant to enter a person's property unless you have the owner's permission
  80. 5-2. You are permitted to search any person on public property (any area not behind an owned door)
  81. 5-3. If a player has broken the law or is wanted you must attempt to arrest them
  82. 5-3A. If they pull out a weapon, you are permitted to shoot them
  83. 5-3B. You are permitted to shoot them in the foot to slow them down if they run
  84. 5-4. You cannot possess Printers/Illegal Items (Excluding weapons)
  85. 5-4A. You must destroy illegal printers must be confiscated and held in the Reich (They cannot be used)
  86. 5-4B. You are permitted to pillage faction printers to remove them
  87. 5-5. You cannot purchase a weapon from an illegal dealer
  88. 5-6. Do not warrant/want someone without a valid reason
  89. 5-7. Do not randomly arrest a player without a valid reason (RDA)
  90. 5-7A. You are permitted to arrest doctors healing/reviving your enemies
  91. 5-8. KOS'ing during a lockdown is not permitted
  92. 5-8A. Soviet Models are always KOS for Reich Officials
  93. 5-9. You cannot demote a subordinate without a valid reason (Valid Reasons: Disrespect, Not following direct orders, and/or not abiding by agenda)
  94. 5-10. Reich officials cannot allow the Resistance to raid the Reich Treasury freely
  95. (See 5-17A)
  96. 5-11. You cannot warrant a person's home solely on suspicion
  97. 5-12. You cannot kill a person to teleport them to jail.
  98. 5-13. Setting places on fire intentionally as a Reich Official is not allowed
  99. 5-14. Fire Patrols cannot set places on fire for any reason including Training
  100. 5-15. During Martial Law you must give people 2 minutes to return to their homes (Inside a building and or a Country)
  101. 5-16. War between parties only permitted when Sr. Admin+ permit it.
  102. 5-16A War is defined as KOS against said Parties (Reich/Country/Faction/Resistance)
  103. 5-17. You are not allowed to RP as a corrupt Reich official
  104. 5-17A. You may accept bribes
  105. 5-18. Reich officials are not allowed to wear disguises (Excluding Gestapo's)
  106. 5-19. You are not allowed to arrest the "Spy" if they are using a civilian model/uniform unless they are wanted and/or break a law(s).
  107. 5-19A. You are allowed to arrest the "Spy" if they are using a Reich uniform or uniform used to infiltrate the Reich and fails an ID Check.
  108. 5-20. 1st SS directly report to the Fuhrer.
  109. 5-21. AOS Signs are permitted, But cannot go farther than the sidewalk in front of the Bank/Reichstag.
  110. 5-21A. Loitering Laws/Signs must have a minimum of 10 seconds.

  112. Gestapo Rules:
  113. 5-21. Gestapo's cannot run around in useless disguises (Ex. Winter uniforms)
  114. 5-20A. Gestapo's are permitted to use such disguises if the base they are trying to infiltrate is also wearing these disguises
  115. 5-20B. Gestapo's are permitted to use a disguise in order to blend in or not blow their cover.
  116. 5-22. As a Gestapo you must be invited into someone's house in order to infiltrate it
  117. 5-23. Do not openly run around with your weapon/battering ram/handcuffs out blowing your cover-this is FailRP
  118. 5-22A. Exception on raids
  119. 5-24. Reich may not ally with Resistance
  120. 5-24A. Reich may have a truce with countries, but they cannot directly cooperate (build each other’s bases, defend each other, ect…)

  122. German Supplier Rules:
  123. 5-25. German Supplier can only sell to Reich Officials
  124. 5-26. The Fuhrer can demote you for selling weapons at very high prices (Over 2x the listed price in the F4 menu)
  125. 5-27. The German supplier cannot raid.
  126. 5-27A. You may supply weapons to Reich officials at raids, but may not raid in any way.

  129. Reich APC Rules:
  130. 5-28. Do not intentionally car deathmatch players - You must slow down/stop
  131. 5-29. Do not drive through roadblocks/prop minge, remove them with a battering ram.

  133. Radio Broadcaster Rules:

  135. 9-1. Do not propblock a radio completely, so that it cannot be turned on/off
  136. 9-2. Do not prop block a radio in a high-traffic area, you must be able to remove the radio
  137. 9-2A. High-traffic areas include the Reich, bank, etc.

  141. 11-1. RP Rules still apply within the theater

  143. Reich Scientist Rules:
  144. 5-30. You must have a player's permission to use the thundergun on them
  145. 5-31. You must ensure no other players will be affected when you fire the thundergun

  147. Fuhrer Rules:
  148. 6-1. Fuhrer cannot order mass killings/arrests
  149. 6-1A. Raiding of a country is exempted.
  150. 6-2. The Fuhrer cannot have any weapon at all
  151. 6-3. Lockdown reasons must be appropriate (raid on Reich, raiding resistance base, or bank robbery)
  152. 6-4. Do not initiate lockdowns constantly.
  153. 6-5. Laws that are unreasonable (as deemed by an admin) are not permitted
  154. 6-5A. E.g. Crouch/Jaywalking/Jumping only laws are not permitted
  155. 6-5B. All players must hold ___ prop whilst walking around are also not permitted
  156. 6-5C. Making base Garry's mod tools illegal is not permitted e.g Physgun
  157. 6-6. No KOS laws (example: KOS Jews, KOS Resistance, ect…)

  159. Banker Rules:
  160. 7-1. You cannot store your printers in the ReichSstag
  161. 7-2. You can choose to work for either the Reich or the Resistance
  162. 7-3. Your printers are legal if you work for the Reich, otherwise they are illegal
  163. 7-4. Bank Vault is AOS for non-reich/non-banker unless stated in the laws.

  165. Resistance/Dealer Rules:
  166. 8-1. You cannot raid the Reich without a valid reason (See reasons below)
  167. 8-2. You cannot randomly shoot or kill Reich officials
  168. 8-3. Weapons are always illegal
  169. 8-4. Fake sticks, unarrest stick, lockpicks, and fire extinguishers are not illegal unless stated in the laws.
  170. 8-4A. Using the lockpick to open a door is AOS regardless of laws.
  171. 8-4B. Using an unarrest stick to unarrest a player is AOS regardless of laws.
  172. 8-5. You can be AOS for the use of Reich uniforms or a uniform used to infiltrate the Reich. This applies to all non-Reich jobs.
  173. 8-6. You are permitted to kill someone who is directly assisting your enemy (doctor reviving/healing enemy).

  175. Faction Rules:
  176. 9-1. All standard rules apply, NLR, RDM, etc.
  177. 9-2. Faction Titles above heads are considered In-character(IC)
  178. 9-3. You cannot KOS another faction
  179. 9-4. War on another faction must have a valid reason (See below)
  180. 9-5. As a Reich official, you have no ties to your faction
  181. 9-6. You cannot assist any faction as a Reich official
  182.  
  183. Miscellaneous Rules:
  184. 10-1. Be appropriate on your text-screens
  185. 10-2. Text-Screens are considered in character
  186. 10-3. Zero tolerance for threats against POG Reborn and the community.
  187. 10-4. The owner of the front door of a building has rights to the entire house.
  188. 10-4A. As a Reich official, you may warrant interior doors granted that you gained a warrant for the house owner.
  189. 10-4B. You do not have to send another warrant, if it expires, on the owner of the house if you have not completed the raid yet.
  190. 10-5. Do not impersonate any Moderator or POG Reborn administration.
  191. 10-6. Do not prevent miners from working in the mine.
  192.  
  193. Raiding Rules:
  194. 11-1. At least one member of your group must enter the building you are raiding. (You cannot stand from afar sniping/launching a rocket at people going in/out. One or more players in the group must make an attempt to enter the building within a reasonable time)
  195. 11-2. Anyone attempting to perform a Reich Takeover and/or kill/kidnap the Fuhrer must make him aware of the issue you have via /advert
  196. 11-2A You give the fuhrer 3 minutes to enforce your demands.
  197. 11-3. You are allowed to jailbreak but only for a friend in jail and you must advert asking for them to be released before raiding (you must give them 30 seconds to release them before raiding)
  198. 11-4. You/your group must wait 8 minutes before mugging/raiding the same group.
  199. 11-5. You/your group must wait 1 minute before mugging/raiding another target.

  201. FailRP situations explained (not a complete list):
  202. 1. As a Reich official, do not shoot other Reich officials; this includes checking to see if they are spies/disguised.
  203. 2. As a Reich official, you must act when you witness a crime; this includes calling for backup or attempting to make an arrest.
  204. 3. As a Reich official, you do not revive someone, after you kill them, to make an arrest.
  205. 4. Do not break roleplay to intentionally interrupt administrative sits (phys guns, trying to join in, etc.)
  206.  
  207. Examples of situations that would be getting yourself intentionally wanted
  208. 1. Sending a 911 call stating there are people with guns at a location when it is you or your group waiting to kill the nazis that show up.
  209. 2. Having your gun out on public property for no reason.
  210. 3. Textscreens such as “Guns sold here”
  211. 4. Anything that would bait Reich officials.

  214. Reason permitted to raid the Reich, and kill the Fuhrer:
  215. (You must advert to raid reich/kill fuhrer)
  216. 1. Removal of law(s)
  217. 2. Lowering taxes if taxes are above 35% (or raising taxes if you are a socialist)
  218. 3. Economy below -25% after 10 minutes of fuhership.
  219. 4. You are an anarchist (May perform a Reich takeover, but cannot kill the fuhrer).
  220. 5. Attempting to kill the Fuhrer
  221. 6. Attempting to unarrest a friend from jail (If the Fuhrer is killed and it is not crossfire, it will be considered RDM)
  222. 7. Attempting to perform a Reich Takeover
  223. 8. Refusal to do lotteries.
