Algar Waterlow meeting Kiara

[06:46:24] Waking up and doing his usual routine in the morning, Algar would soon head down stairs to get some breakfast started before heading out the door. But this time he had brought his black cloak that his ' Father ' had given him.

Rushing throughout the snowy-like winds. Algar made his way throughout the front gates of Frostvale to later reach the woodlands and enter the town known as Danarium. Not once had he been there before so he wanted to get a taste for the newly discovered town.

Upon entering the city, he noticed that it was pretty much lively. Alot of townspeople were walking about. Talking happily as they moved about. Throughout all of this confusion, Algar somehow found himself at the south eastern part of Danarium. Seeing a bunch of kids near his age grouped around at what had seemed to be a training ground.

With him recently learning how to fight with a sword, Algar went over gleefully. Approaching Kiara first.

"Hey, are you guys running a session around here?" he asked dully

[06:52:22] It was just a normal day for Kiara. After the failed scout to the south to locate the Wrath sin she was kind of dissapointed. It was strange that she failed at risking her life and finding a wanted criminal! Very strange. Of course, she wasn't alone. it was herself and Rynoa- and two other doofesis that she can't be bothered to recall.

Balder was an idiot. So was the other guy. That's all that matter in this situation. She sat on a bench, absorbed in notes and blueprints that lay before her. It was quiet hard to desifer without looking for too long. It just looked like alot of scratch marks and random words scattered across a page.

Her work was interupted quickly by a boy. Her right eye which had the whites repaced black and the iris red twitched a little with anger. "Do I look like I am having a 'Session' whatever that might be? I am working. Shoo" She spoke to the child with little remorse as she was working. Being pulled away from work was EXTREMELY annoying.

[07:06:52] As Algar awaited for the not-much-older girl to respond to him. He tried to take a peak at what she was doing. Leaning over a bit, he caught a glimpse of something white that she was holding and that was about it.

Soon he would feel her presence get larger as she would soon vent on him. In a matter of shock that she had got so angry over such a simple question. A smile was hinted across his lips.

Soon Algar would take a seat beside the girl and lean forward trying to get a better view of what she was doing. He guessed that it might be important due to how focused she was and how stressed she had seemed about it.

" Well thats one way to treat a tourist. . . . Anywho, whats that you got there" he said, soon he would try to reach over and grab at her work. Algar was already known to be quick, and this feat just proven so.

With ease, Algar had reached between her arm and snatched it away from her grasp and soon did appear standing on the bench. Staring the papers that she held, it seemed that all he was looking at was a bunch of scratch marks and random words all over the papers. It had seemed as if had ment something which it probably did. He noticed a few runic words that he had learned in the previvous days that he had been studying. He couldn't tell what it all meant but he could point out a few things here and there.

"Sooo erm . . . . Whats all of this?" he said with a smirk as he started to walk back and forth on the bench

[07:19:40] The nerve! Kiara would become extremely red. From anger. The ground around them followed suit as the grass and ground turned into a patch of bubbling Lava. "Give it back now. Or you will be sorry..." She groaned at him as a few pecies of lava would make their way towards his legs, in an atempt to burn them.

On the paper was rune writing, one of ancient times. As well as that was there materials. Peices and what not that could be created into a magi-tech weapon! Of course, without prior knowledge of seeing a magi tech weapon they made no sense.

"I won't repeat myself kid." She shouted as the ground began to shake frantikly around them, if the kid did not submit the papers he would probably fall off into a puddle of lava underneath him.

[07:40:09] As Algar was deep into her findings and kept on trying to find the true meanings in the paper of who ever had written it. He soon hated himself for not bringing his book with him. With it he could've found out everything that was written. But then again, it could've been a message to a loved one or something. He wanted to believe it but what he was sorting out didn't seem to come out like that. It was hard but all it had seemed like was random lines put across the other. Algar would just assume that it was a message of some sort. But that was as far as he could go before she would start to go at him again.

Soon he would feel an extreme heat arise from the ground. His first instinct was the back away, which he did start doing. He looked to the girl whose head seemed like it was about to explode while the ground around them had soon turned into magma. 'Lava? Where did that come from?' he thought.

Taking a quick glance around himself, it was only the girl and him and another guy, but that guy was off in his own world far away from them. Soon Algar would start to sweat, the intense heat coming from the lava was burning his skin. "Ah!" he yelped as he felt his own body sizzling as if he was being cooked on a grill.

The girl had warned him over and over again that he was going to regret not giving her back her work. But when she called him a kid. It had gotten him a bit furious.

"Hey! your like the same age as me! If not, a little older! But not by alot. And is this how you treat people all of the time?! Why do yo-. . . Can you stop it with the dam heat!" he retorted back at Kiara. "ah!" he yelped again as his skin burned due to the intense heat.

Soon with rage filling in him due to all this torture just for him playing around with some girl. He exploded. Focusing his mana inside of him to envlope him in a protective shield. Energy would soon burst out of his being, soon covering him as a shroud. Protecting him for the pain of the intense heat but not the unusal warm feeling coming from it.

"First of all, give me a reason why I should listen to you when you've already caused me so much pain?! Secondly, who are you to even ACT such a way?!" he yelled

[07:51:15] "Pathetic" She would wimper and rise her hand towards the boy that was atempting to protect himself. "Pointless" She rolled her eyes seeing that the boy was extremely inexpieranced with magic. Her hand would squeeze, and just by using her shere mana alone his shield would come to a

Her eyes rolled as she stood up herself. The lava was making its way up the bench now, like some sort of moss but not burning the bench, It had one target. If only the boy could fly, if not. His legs would soon start to burn.

"Do you understand the differance between us? First of all. You are like ten. Second of all, you are inexperianced. Very." She took a step forward, a powerful step taht made the lava bubble a little more. Her right hand would extend. "My work. Now" She demanded from the boy. Her lava slowly picking up a pase. The air was now slightly hazzy from the extreme heat that the lava was emitting. Showing how powerful Kiara could be.

[08:13:26] Soon Algar would hear the girl call him 'Pathetic' in which he clenched his teeth. Then she went even farther and called his effor to protect himself pointless. She even went as far as to roll her eyes at him. Which had infuriated him even more. Yes he was inexperianced in magic since he never really had proper training. The only way how he even came in contact with energy magic was this one day he got very infuriated and exploded causing bursts of energy to fly outwards from his being. But still, Algar had felt confiendant that his shroud would stay up despite her efforts.

The girl had raised her hand towards it and then she imitated that she was squeezing something. As she had done so, he thought she was on drugs or something until he actually felt his own energy shourd breaking down and being teared apart. Soon his shroud was no more and he was yet again inflicted with pain.

Then she stood up and the lava that was on the ground had now made its way up onto the bench. As if it was following her. Algar was trembling inside as he knew that he had put himself in a very deep hole and that it was only going to get deeper from this time on if he kept up his ways. But with her disrespecting him in such a way. He couldn't have her just walk all over him.

Kiara would then explain to him as to how infierior he was to him. Then she would start taking more steps towards him. Causing the lava to advance towards him. Demanding her own work from him as she stopped but she let the lava keep coming towards him.

Soon gas would emitt from the lava as he seemed to get hotter and burn brighter. He was surprise that the ground around them and the bench itself didn't wasn't burned down into nothingness. Maybe she had that much control of her magic that she could make it burn what ever she wanted it to. Proving how powerful she really was.

Slowly walking backwards to the end of the bench. He almost fell backwards but regained his balance. He looked at the girl and nervously said as he felt as if the start of this conflict she had known all along that she was the victor.

"Wha- what is your name?" he asked as he was intent on keeping the papers now

[08:55:15] "Fine." Her hand would outstrech over towards him as she clicked her fingers. There were runes on the back side of the paper that would activate apon hearing the click of Kiara's fingers. The paper began turning yellow as it cought on fire. "I am not scared of losing my work. Especially when I have ALOT of the same copies."

She rolled her eyes at the child that dared to confront her. "so. What part of you do you want me to take?" She asked rising a brow. The lava had now advanced passed the boy and around him. Around the bench and was now making its way up the bench.

"My name is of no importance. To you anyway. You are a retard of a kid who dared take something that's not yours. If you were in frostvale that wo-" She grinned and spoke. "What's your name?" She spoke rising a brow and clicking her finger making the lava and fire of the paper stop and dissapear. The page was not burning anymore and not much of it got burned.

"tell me or I will take our your tounge. Now."

[09:11:28] As Algar is pretty good at controling his emotions from showing what they truly were. At this time, he could barely keep it in check. His emotions showed that he was nervous. He was written all over his face, and the fact that she just burned up the papers that were in his hand.

Quickly he would throw away the papers and looked at the burned hand."You really don't have any limits do you woman?" he said cockly despite his postion. There was a bit of nervous-tone based in his voice but he tried to play it off.

Then she asked him of which body part that he wanted her to take from him. Soon his entire body would shake. Was she serious? He couldn't tell. Then she told him that her name was of no importance. Then she called him a retard for taking something that wasn't his. Then she demanded his name?

It surprised him at first but instead he said " I asked you first you meanie"

[09:46:27] She would sigh a little and pick up her paper. "The fire is fake. As is the burning of the paper. Illusion magic." She noded a little with a kind smile. She then rose her brow towards the child and sighed. Was she really about to do that? Really? Well. He was a child and the fact that he was one would let him off with a warning.

"If you were a few years older I would have full authority to arrest you. Although I am not. Hence, you are being let off with a fine of ten thousand crowns for theft of important republican documents and resisting to return after multiple times of a warning." She noded and looked at him and sighed.

"Now please give me your name or I will be forced to arrest you." She noded with a sigh.

[10:00:57] Algar would look upon the lava and fire aswell. Was it all just a big illusion. Was this really happening or was she just joking so he could get burnt. He truly didn't know. Maybe both? He seemed not able to tell fake from reality. He had seen a copy of his sister once before. Maybe that was what it was.

Her experssion of smiling now was a bit kind for the sudden switch up of saying that she was going to cut off his tounge to telling him the truth behind all of the scenary. She then explained to him that if he was older that he would be arrested with full authority. But that she wasnt and was going to let him off with a fine. A fine for a 11 year old?! and ten thousand crowns at that. A laugh had escaped his lips at the numbers that she had said. She even gave him the reason of why it was so expensive. Then again, she had asked for his name and threatend to arrest him if he wouldn't do so.

Algar looked at her dumbfoundedly "Arrest a 11 year old? I don't think so missy. You may be older but that doesn't give you the right to go all extreme on me and threaten me by saying that you were going to take my body parts and cut out my tounge. I can vouch for myself and im pretty sure that there are others who could do that for me. As for that fine, you can go ahead and pay it off yourself because I've been saving up my money from when I was 5 and all I have is 15 thousand crowns. And like I said, the name is none of your bee's wax until you tell me yours first!" he retorted.

He didn't know why he was taking the offensive but he was all of a sudden mad that this woman was so mean to him and then decided to change her attitude with him. Maybe a sense of being bi-polar? He didn't know. All he kenw was that he wasnt about to back down

[10:36:48] She would shake her head slightly and reach into her pocket and raise an Arbitrator's badge. "I have full authority to warrent your arrest as an officer of the Arbitrators." Anyone, even a child at such a young age should know who the guards of the country are, and Kiara was part of it.

"Theft of republic property can warrent a two year sentance is jail. Or some crowns like I said. If you do not stop being rude, and resisting to pay a fine I will be oblidged to arrest you.. Forcefully." She looked at him and shrugged. "And I want you to know that the lava was no illusion boy."

She shook her head side to side in dissagrement. "I may not be old. Yet my status in the republic is bigger than yours. So. Name, and money. Or I will send put you behind bars for two years. (6 irl days). SO. You choose. You can get your parents to pay the fine if you like. Just lead them to me"

She would sigh a little. "You're lucky this is not Frostvale. There, for theift you lose your hands." SHe noded slightly. "Oh well. So you choose."

[10:55:34] As Kiara would explain the situation of the matter. He ended up not liking it. 2 years in jail? He wasn't going to do it. Not now, not ever. He didn't even like the term 'Jail'.

"Well, I'll give you my name then. . . since you want it so badllllyyyy." he said as he crossed his arms around the back of his head. "Its. . . . . . Katai, anyway. See yah later!" he exclaimed as he jumped from one of the benches to the other and then continued his hops to land that was not invaded by lava.

There he would turn back on his energy shroud and dash away before she had time to chase him down

[10:57:16] She would laugh. So hard as she rose a wall to block the child. The wall would extend in a semi-circle around her. "Katai is my brothers name. Tell him I said hi. I know who you are now, and I'll go to brother Johnathan to tell him about how bad his son is." She noded and tilted her arm to the side allowing for the wall to fall downwards.

"Cya kiddo. Tell Katai that his older sister said hi" She casted a soft smile, packing all her things away and standing up. She was going to go leave do her own thing now.
