  1. The pills spilled from the bottle like water from a drain. Gwen dropped the extra dots that fell out back into the container, leaving only two in her hand. Without a moment’s hesitation she plopped them in her mouth. Swirling them in her cheeks, her throat swelled as a lump rolled down it. With a gasp she wiped her mouth, having swallowed the two tablets whole. She pounded her chest, her face wincing as they went down the wrong pipe.
  2.
  3. “Are you sure those are healthy for you to be ingesting like that?” Brushing her long ears away from her face, Violet looked over her friend with worried eyes. With a twitching nose she gazed at the bottle that was clenched tightly between Gwen’s fingers.
  4.
  5. “You rabbits are always worried about everything. Are any of you able to take a moment and just relax?” Gwen casually placed the bottle into the purse she wore over her shoulder. With sly eyes she looked up at Violet, her sharpened teeth barred into a cunning grin. “It’s any wonder someone like you was ever able to get involved with someone like me.” Her long tail swayed behind her casually, brushing itself against the gray fur of her friend, causing the petit rabbit to shiver as they walked. “You do realize us fox’s are one of the rabbits most common natural predators, right?” Gwen grabbed Violet by the arm and forced the fidgety frame tightly against her own, mushing her layered chub gently atop the poor girl. “There’s nothing here that could stop me from just gobbling you down right now.” Her tone was menacing, but the snorty laugh that followed the remark cleared up any signs of her being a potential threat.
  6.
  7. Violet pinched the gut that filled out Gwen’s tight fitting shirt, causing the fox to yelp out before releasing her hold. “You’re such an incompetent hunter as is; I could outrun you no problem.” Wrapping herself around the flabby arm beside her, Violet reeled Gwen in tightly against her side, her own matching shoulder purse mushing beneath Gwen. “There’s only one way you’d ever have to chance to eat me up.” With her sweet tone ringing into the folded ears of her friend, Violet bent over and brought her gentle lips across the reddened cheek of her partner.
  8.
  9. Gwen’s eyes lowered to the asphalt, her tail dragging along behind her as they walked along the empty parking lot. Looking over herself, she pinched her fat, grimacing as she felt it ripple with every step. It was only now she realized how tight her shorts fit across her chubby thighs. Violet had said she looked fine in them before they left the house, but all the sudden she couldn’t help but feel that every pair of eyes she passed were left lingering on her fat ass, watching as her cheeks jiggled by.
  10.
  11. Violet sighed, “we’re working on it, right? We’ll get you feeling fit and fine in no time, sweetie.”
  12.
  13. Gwen smiled meekly at her. “Yeah, I guess. I just wish it didn’t take so long, ya know?”
  14.
  15. “I do.” Violet returned the smile and tightened her grip across her partner. “I just wish you didn’t feel the need to take those pills alongside it. Pumping yourself with chemicals and all kinds of nasty stuff, just feels counterproductive when we’re already working on making you healthy.”
  16.
  17. “It’s just a weight loss supplement, all it does is fight off hunger for a bit. Nothing more nothing less.” Gwen laughed lightly, but Violet could only shake her head at the remark.
  18.
  19. “Starving yourself is just as unhealthy as gorging yourself, ya know…”
  20.
  21. The automatic doors slid open, and they both walked in, simultaneously sighing at feeling the cool air conditioning of the grocery store brush against their fur. “Here’s how we’re gonna get that weight off ya, Gwen, no artificial chemicals needed.” Violet stepped on ahead, leaving Gwen behind her. The fox groaned and picked up her pace, all too aware of the rabbit’s dirty trick at getting her body to move a bit more. They rummaged through the aisles, their basket filling with vegetables, fruits, oats, nuts, and everything else that could possibly make Gwen’s mouth go dry at how unappetizing it all was. Passing through the endless displays of various ice creams, cakes, and candies, all of which were strategically placed around the store, Gwen could feel her stomach rumbling at the sight of it all. Violet’s ears perked at the sound, and she glanced over to Gwen casually. “I thought those pills were supposed to fight hunger?” she said with a smirk.
  22.
  23. Gwen rubbed at her belly, the hungry growls that rang from it only becoming louder and more frequent. “I-it just takes a while to kick in, that’s all.” Without a moment’s thought she grabbed the pill capsule from her purse and quickly popped two more of the dots down her gullet. Violet shook her head and sighed.
  24.
  25. With their baskets filled to the brim with heart healthy, calorie friendly, cholesteryl minding foods, they walked up to the checkout aisle. Gwen turned her body sideways, her plump rump proving to be too wide to slide through otherwise. The cashier watched her waddle along like a crab, his eyes fixated on the constricting shorts she wore. Seeing her friend beginning to blush, Violet leaned over the register and whispered, “I know it’s quite the sight, but let’s not focus too intently on it, she’s uhh, she’s very self-conscious.”
  26.
  27. The cashier whipped his gaze away from the bulging fox. “I had thought she’d like the attention going off her shorts.” He gulped and wiped his head with the sleeve of his work shirt. Locking his gaze downward, he rang up the remaining items in silence. Violet thanked him promptly upon receiving her receipt and both she and Gwen walked out from the checkout, the cashier’s eyes following every wobble the fattened fox made with each step.
  28.
  29. The two walked out of the store. Setting her basket down, Violet stretched out her arms out and took in a deep breath, her lungs filling with the humid air of the afternoon. With a refreshed sigh, she gazed over to Gwen, who huffed and panted like she had just gotten back from a triathlon meetup.
  30.
  31. Dropping her share of the groceries to the ground, Gwen stumbled along with her arms clenched over her stomach. She made her way to a vending machine which sat in front of the store, her body jiggling as she stood herself in front of the buzzing contraption. Her face was completely red and her bosoms rippled as her lungs heaved with air. Sweat stains drenched her shirt as well as her shorts. Gwen reeled her torso over where she stood, groaning as she slowly dialed a combination into the machine’s number pad. Violet tilted her head at the display and somberly she walked up to Gwen, her arms crossing as she did so. Gwen looked around, squinting her eyes against the sun that faced her directly from the sky. “I…, I don’t feel so hot, Violet.”
  32.
  33. Violet shook her head and placed a hand across Gwen’s forehead. “Oh!” Violet reeled her arm back, her expression softening at the realization. “Au contraire, my dear. You’re simply searing to the touch, I’m afraid.” Violet reached a hand down and grabbed one of Gwen’s hands, a moist wet sound emitting as she clenched onto the sweat drenched palm of her friend. “I know this isn’t because I worked you too hard. You’ve come out of worse exercises in much better condition than this. C’mon let’s get you home and into the shower. That’ll cool you down better than any soda could.” With a whirr, the loud clanging rang from the machine. Pushing Gwen to the side, Violet seized the soda, and hid it away into her shoulder purse.
  34.
  35. Violet walked over and collected the two weighty basket with one hand. Returning swiftly to Gwen, she grunted as she pulled her friend up with her other hand. Wrapping a dripping arm around Violet’s shoulder, Gwen huffed with every step, a large portion of her weight leaning onto Violet, who had since begun to grit her teeth. Slowly they both turned around and began their waddle out into the parking lot.
  36.
  37. “V-Violet.” Gwen’s voice was shaky and frail, like a meek school girl introducing herself to the other kids on the playground. “My stomach hurts…, like, really fucking hurts.”
  38.
  39. “No doubt it would with all those drugs you fucking shoved into it.” Violet’s legs bulged as her muscles forced the two of them forward. “Feeling this bad this suddenly? I think we’re going to need to take you to a doctor or something. This is beyond worrying for me.”
  40.
  41. Gwen groaned as she trudged along, but solemnly she nodded her head. “I only wished you didn’t park so far away…”
  42.
  43. “I thought you could use the extra walking distance.”
  44.
  45. Gwen laughed weakly under her panting breath. “I know. I know.”
  46.
  47. Gwen’s stomach began to gurgle and churn. The upset rumbles it emitted were plenty more than just audible. Violet could feel Gwen’s body began to tremble, her flabs of fat fidgeting with each inner grumble, as if her stomach alone was shaking her body to its core. “Ghuh, all the sudden, I feel really full.” Gwen looked up to Violet with tired eyes. “Like, my entire stomach could just burst at any moment.”
  48.
  49. Violet sighed. “You said those pills were supposed to fend of hunger. Well, it’s apparent they’ve gone well above their line of duty.”
  50.
  51. People watched from the side, their eyes lingering slowly along as the two of them lumbered slowly along. Some snickered. Others took out their phones to record it. None of them came up to help. They all kept their distance. Violet kept her eyes locked forward, focusing her mind away from the attention. She felt her heart sink as she listened to the sad whimpers that came from Gwen.
  52.
  53. With a final grunt, Gwen’s legs give out, and she shortly after collapsed to the floor. Violet was dragged down with her by the neck. With a gag she fell over and cried when she heard the groceries spilling out onto the hot asphalt. Pushing Gwen’s arm off of her, Violet threw herself back up onto her feet. Turning around and bending down, she grabbed a hold of Gwen’s flesh and began to shake it desperately, the rolls of fat that covered her rolling over themselves from the disturbance. “Gwen, Gwen, c’mon and stand up,” she pleaded through her cracking voice. “We’re almost to the car. C’mon and get up.”
  54.
  55. Violet shoved her hands under Gwen’s rolls. A vain pulsed visibly along her neck as she pushed upward. With a breathless grunt, the most Violet was able to do was roll Gwen over onto her back. There was no way she was able to get her standing on her own, and it was obvious the poor fox and no muster left in her either. This went beyond simple fatigue. Violet’s nose twitched nervously as she looked over Gwen’s helpless body.
  56.
  57. “Oh god, oh god.” Violet began to pace. All of the bystanders went about their ways, while only a few stuck around to watch. They kept their eyes to where they were going, and shut off their ears to the panicked cries of Violet.
  58.
  59. “Shit, shit, shit.” Violet’s body shivered, her fists clenching tightly along her legs. Her eyes shot wildly as she addressed the situation in her head. With a muffled cry, she put her hands to her face. There was only one solution she could think of. Violet dug into her purse and pulled out her phone. Going into the device’s contact section she dilled the numbers on the touch screen with shaking fingers. “Hello, 911?”
  60.
  61. Gwen’s mind had gone mostly numb. Her stomach felt like a pack of fireworks had been lit inside of her. Whimpering to herself, her ears lowered as she listened to the conversation her friend was having on the phone. The talking faded in and out as she tried to keep herself from blacking out. Her nose snorted loudly and her tongue had gone completely dry as she gasped for air. Every inch of her body stung and burned with exhaustion and pain. But it was her heart that felt the most excruciated, a horrible mixture of shame and physical strain welling inside it.
  62.
  63. Gwen’s stomach bubbled and growled menacingly, as if the inside of her gut housed a terrible beast, clawing from within her to be freed. She belched loudly, the nauseous gas accumulating into empty air above her. With a groan Gwen placed an arm wearily over her stomach. Clenching at her fat with her sweaty fingers, Gwen closed her eyes. Between her round digits she could feel her stomach reeling within her. It bounced and jumped below her fat, as if something really was trying to burst out from it. “V-Violet…, I…, I feel like I’m going to explode.”
  64.
  65. “You what?” Violet had just returned the phone into her purse before quickly reeling her head around towards Gwen.
  66.
  67. “I-I can feel something…, something inside me.” Gwen’s face wrinkled as it writhed with discomfort. “I can feel it growing, something is pushing out from inside me.” Like an actor taking his cue on the stage, Gwen’s already fat stomach bulged out slightly. Her previously tight shirt began to lift, the bottom portion of her swelled gut already poking out from below. “V-Violet…, help me…, please.” Her voice was weak and shaky, her vocal cords straining to force out her thoughts as fear gripped them like a pair of hands locked around her throat.
  68.
  69. “Gwen, y-you’re blowing up.” Violet slowly began to back away, her dilated pupils unable to look away at the swelling girl.
  70.
  71. Gwen slammed a fist on top of the ground, the fat around her arms shaking as her clenched hand slapped along the hard surface. With her pointed teeth barred, she growled at Violet. “No shit, I’m swelling up.” Her stomach bubbled as it rose, like bread in the oven it resembled. “Gah, God Damnit, Violet, do something.”
  72.
  73. Despite her friends’ pleas, all Violet could do was watch. Gwen’s body ballooned rapidly. It pushed out from beneath her straining shirt, her fat naval poking from below the tearing cloth. Her arms filled beside her and her legs fattened below her. Every part of her body was promptly bulging outwards. Tears rolled down Gwen’s face, her lips quivering as she whimpered helplessly. “Oohhh…,” her moans were hollow and ghost like. The side of her hips widened from within her shorts. The button that held them together at the top exploded off, the fat from her crotch spilling out, revealing to any onlookers her rainbow polka dotted panties. Violet’s face went completely red, her long ears lowering as they drooped behind her head.
  74.
  75. People gathered around, like an audience at a freak show attraction. With their phones held up, countless digital recording of the incident was thus made. From where she laid, the sad eyes of Gwen slowly looked up to Violet. With one small gaze, she was able to see the total hopelessness and embarrassment that no doubt clenched her innards, along with whatever else it was that was filling her so.
  76.
  77. Gwen’s breasts were like two big servings of pudding at Christmas dinner. The soft blobs hung along her growing frame, her tubby nipples poking out from beneath her straining bra. Finally, the final string of cloth that held her shirt together gave up the good fight. It tore along her body like the parting of the red sea. Freed, her stomach spilled out to the side of her, like an avalanche of fat. Her matching bra was all that kept her from completely giving up her modesty to the world. Even then, holes formed along the silk, tufts of white fur overflowing from the opened crevasses. They mushed against her inflating chest, the fat from below seeping through like water behind a cracked dam.
  78.
  79. To no one’s surprise, the top portion of Gwen’s undergarments practically erupted from her chest. With the ripped cloth landing beside her, her exposed nipples pointed up to the sun, topping her fat chest like a cherry would atop a giant bowl of ice cream. All that remained were her shorts.
  80.
  81. People gasped when they saw the extent of Gwen’s swelling. Some hastily walked away, hoping to leave before things got messy. Most others stayed and watched. The girls snickered and talked amongst themselves. While the guys all starred with wide eyes, their overall reaction proving to be a mixed bag. Some watched with disgust, their faces turning a light green as they bared witness to the disgusting marvel. Others watched with their mouths hung open, small dabs of drool hanging from below their watering lips. Regardless of why they stayed to watch, the end game was this: an endless stream of eyes gazed at Gwen’s amorphous blob of a body. And from her limited viewpoint, she still was able to feel every pair of eyes that lingered on her. Squirming within herself, Gwen was only able to continue whimpering. Along with the rest of her, her cheeks swelled, fattening her face to the point where her sad muffled cries were all she was capable of in terms of protesting.
  82.
  83. Violet was left without anything to say. She had since found herself leaning against a nearby streetlamp, her body unable to support itself after what she had seen occur before her. Her heart had completely sunk inside her chest, lost to the depths of her emotions. She wanted to scream and yell and fling stones at the crowd that surrounded them. Pushing herself up from the post, her legs trembled from below her. It was a struggle to support even herself. The prospect of fending off an entire hoard of people, she knew, was barely even a pipe dream. Seeing the tear stains that drenched Gwen’s face formed a black hole within her gut. Walking up slowly, Violet forced her legs forward, until finally, she collapsed beside what remained of Gwen’s face. Leaning over it, she bent down and kissed her on one of her cheeks, her face sinking into the thick fat. It was all she could do.
  84.
  85. Sirens began to blare in the distance. Violet’s long ears had picked them up long before, but being so focused on Gwen, it was only her subconscious that took notice of them. Her ears twitched with pain as the ambulance pulled into the lot, its sirens screaming at full volume. The side doors opened, and a team of legs shot out from the vehicle. Running out from their get-a-way, they all stopped in place and stood in silence, their eyes going wide as they gazed at what it was they were dealing with. They looked nervously amongst themselves, an endless barrage of questions strewing in their head, one in particular being shared across the group unanimously. “How are we even going to get her to the hospital?”
  86.
  87. In the middle of the group stood a tall man, dressed in plain white, sterile, medical attire which was offset by his dark fur which Panthers like him were prominently known for. He looked back at his team with focused eyes, ordering them on with hand gestures and quick brief sentences. His voice was loud and demanding, almost like a roar it sounded. He was the tallest one of the group and looked more fit to be leading a police squadron then a medical one. They all nodded in response to his words, although the blatant disbelief had yet to leave any of their faces.
  88.
  89. Circling around the ambulance, they began strewing out gear and running it over to Gwen, the first and foremost of which was an air tank. A team of paramedics raced it over to Gwen, forcing a breathing mask over her face and promptly switching the machine to on. The mechanical breaths rang into Violets ears, and her entire body shivered in response to the unnatural sounds. Although, getting to see the slight rise and fall of Gwen’s swollen chest soothed her heart slightly.
  90.
  91. The man walked over to Violet, who was still collapsed over Gwen’s head. With broad steps, he stood himself behind her, his arms crossed against his back as he stared at her from behind. “Excuse me, ma’am?” Violet’s body turned instantly, her eyes shooting wide as they stared at him like a pair of headlights. Removing his hands from behind his back, he held one out in front of him. “I apologies for scaring you like that.” His voice was the same as it was before, but with a stern seriousness about it to make up for the quieted tone. “I’m Dr. Glide,” he said as Violet stood herself and placed a meek hand into his iron grip to be shaken about. “I assume you’re the one that called about the emergency?”
  92.
  93. Violet nodded wearily. “Y-yeah, t-that was me.”
  94.
  95. “I see.” Dr. Glide released his grip and put his fingers casually around his chin as he his eyes loomed quietly across Gwen. “When you mentioned that someone was, how you put it, swelling up like a fucking balloon, we weren’t sure what to make of it.” He began to wander along Gwen’s body, the heavy footsteps that emitted from his large frame lingering within Violet’s ears. “And even now I fear none of us are exactly sure what make of such an incident.” Turning his body to the side, he looked down at the reclined rabbit. “No known medical records have ever documented something of this extent occurring.”
  96.
  97. Violet gulped, her nervous thumbs working around each other like two snakes trying to eat the other. “Y-you can still do something for her? R-right?”
  98.
  99. “Well therein lies the problem. You see, it’s going to be difficult to determine what exactly is the best course of action for us to take.” He turned solemnly back to the rumbling blob that was Gwen. “Her body is undoubtedly in a very frail position. If we try to move her, what are the chances that we could inflict some internal harm to her? And then begs the question, is her skin even likely to hold together? From what it appears to me, my greatest concern for her would be to cause some sort of rupture or tear in her flesh. And this is without even making note of what measures would be needed to even move her in the first place.”
  100.
  101. Violet chewed her lip, blood beginning to dribble in her mouth. “Does…,” she paused and wiped at her eyes. With a deep breath she continued. “Does that mean she’s not going to make it?” Dr. Glide’s broad shoulders rose as he sighed. Clenching her chest, Violet felt as though her heart had found employment as a pin cushion.
  102.
  103. “We’ll…, certainly do what we can.” Dr. Glide walked away from her without another word, his back remaining turned towards her crumbling frame as he walked over to closer inspect the odd scene.
  104.
  105. “G-Gwen…,” Violet buried her face into her hands, her body bouncing lightly as she hiccupped between her breathless whimpers. Unable to look at the mass of people that surrounded her friend, her body reeled over as she fell forward onto her knees, and there she began to sob right in front of Gwen’s unrecognizable head. Feint voices rang from nearby, none of which she recognized from before. Her ears twitched as she listened to them speak.
  106.
  107. “Alright, go ahead and position the cameras there. This’ll be a good shot I think.”
  108.
  109. Violet slowly raised her head up and looked around. Through the tears that blurred her eyes, she squinted as she saw a tight pink business dress looming in front of her. It rode across its owner’s ass tightly, sinking into her protruding cheeks. With a hand over her hip, the Golden Lab in pink talked to a man wielding a large shoulder camera in front of her. Violet’s heart nearly exploded in her chest when she saw the microphone clenched between the woman’s other hand. From behind them, a large van was parked. On the side of the dormant vehicle, the words, “Local News Broadcasting,” was painted in large, bold, blue letters. In her grief, Violet didn’t even hear a peep from them as they drove up, parked, and unloaded their gear. Within her trembling frame, a heavy weight formed inside her, one that caused her legs to strain as she stood herself back up.
  110.
  111. “W-what do you think you’re doing?” Violet dragged herself over, her shaking arms reaching out towards the news reporter. Her trembling legs tripped over themselves, her outstretched hands grabbing a hold of the tacky pink suit before completely falling down to her knees. The gold lab yelped as she was pulled down, the microphone in her hand dropping to the ground as her dainty fingers reared up from surprise. The humble bit of technology thumped atop the concrete, bouncing as it slammed up and down along the ground.
  112.
  113. “Ah, what the hell do you think you’re doing?” Her painted nails dug into violets arm as she clamped onto them, locking into her flesh, her otherwise paper thin arms bulging as she pried the weary limb away from her clothes. Pushing her away with a light grunt, the news reporter bent over, her skirt stretching across her ass, revealing a feint panty line as she picked up the seemingly unmarked microphone. “God Damnit, this shit is expensive you know.” She glared at the trembling girl, her lips curled into a scowl. Turning her head over to her camera man, she huffed through her nose, her face pouting like a twelve-year old’s. “C’mon we can’t have the shot blurred by shit like this.” The two began to walk away, their backs facing towards Violet, neither of them looking back. They marched closer to Gwen, supposedly in need of a closer view of the girl who’s stomach undoubtedly reached a minimum of eleven feet into the air.
  114.
  115. Violet’s dripping eyes gazed across the scene that had formed within the parking lot. Paramedics were strewn clumsily about, their collected footsteps clattering along the ground while they were busy preforming arbitrary tasks. All of it in a desperate attempt to look like they knew what they were doing when it was clear none of them had any idea as to how they should address the situation. Their leader stood back with his arms folded casually behind his back, his voice ringing out as she shouted orders. The only results to come from him was the needless barrage of noise that shot from his mouth. Otherwise, it was a curiosity as to why he even bothered to show up given his supposed lack of personal investment.
  116.
  117. The crowed of curious bystanders only grew, an endless storm of flashes erupting from their phones as the morbid occurrence was forever recorded into the musty catacombs that was social media.
  118.
  119. The news reporter had anchored herself to a spot directly in front of Gwen’s immobile legs, allowing the camera man a clear shot of her fattened privates. She talked and laughed to the camera, her cheery demeanor not only a jarring misrepresentation of the tragic and demeaning events, but also a cover up for her own shitty self, a façade as thick as the makeup that clouded her face.
  120.
  121. Violet’s heart twisted and convulsed within her chest, a horrid mixture of emotional contradictions. Her eyes weld up with tears, the collected bits of water rolling down her face, wetting the fur along her cheeks. Her fingers fidgeted along the ground and her legs kicked and reared uneasily from beneath her. Her teeth grinded against each other, an audible scrapping radiating from her mouth which was tensed into a seemingly permeant grimace atop her reddened face.
  122.
  123. Her mind raced with countless urges. Her legs tensed as she felt the need to stand up and kick the useless doctor away, shoving him to the sidelines where his unhelpful ass belonged. She desired to walk up and push the reporter over, swiftly giving her the ratings she’s always wanted with a brief twitch from her arms. In her heart she wished to grab one of the onlooker’s phones and toss it to the ground, the simple, effortless task then cementing herself as a permeant mark of internet “culture.” An amazing display that would undoubtedly be lost to the endless flow of shit as the next big happening is recorded, effortlessly replacing it as it gets lost in the current. All these urges muddled her brain, and thus turned it into a useless blank between her ears.
  124.
  125. Emotions ran high amongst the crowd, and for all the people present, and for all the abled bodies that were available, Gwen’s fattened body melted along the ground in the blistering sun, as helpless as it would be if she were completely alone.
  126.
  127. Violet somberly stood herself up. A hole had been split in her jeans, her bleeding knee spilling out from beneath it. Her hands were scuffed and bruised, the black of the concert mixing with the red of her blistered palms. Her ears twitched behind her head, and her chest rose and sank rapidly as heavy breaths erupted from her nose. Tear stains soaked her face while her fists clenched beside her. With grit teeth she began to walk forward. Someone had to bring order to all of this chaos.
  128.
  129. The paramedics swarmed around her, swerving to and fro as she kept marching onward. She stopped herself behind Dr. Glide, her tiny frame shrouded in the shadow cast by his tall body. Her bosoms rose as she inhaled a long deep breath. Stepping around and placing herself in front of him, her arms instantly cemented to her side as she gazed up at him from below. “Do any of you even know what you’re doing here?” Her body was small, but her voice still managed to remain big. With widening eyes, he looked down at her.
  130.
  131. “Excuse me?”
  132.
  133. Violet gulped to herself. “All I’ve seen you or anyone do is run around in circles.” She stomped her foot. “If you’re not going to fix my friend, then why don’t you all just pack up and stop crowding her, God Damnit?”
  134.
  135. Dr. Glide’s face tightened along his skull, his pupils dilating. Violet felt her arms being seized beside her. Looking back and forth, she saw a pair of paramedics holding her back, tugging at her lightly as they tried to edge her away. “I would think you’d be grateful that we’d even take the time to try and do what we can for such a hopeless case,” he growled at her with bared teeth.
  136.
  137. Violet winced. “All I see are confused and misguided people swarming her like bees, while the person who’s supposed to be leading them stands at the sidelines as uninvested as ever.”
  138.
  139. Dr. Glide reached down and grabbed her by the arms, knocking the two goons beside her away. Tightening his grip, he began to lift her up. “I’ve been nothing but very, very patient here. I really, don’t respect someone like you coming up here and talking down to me, especially when it is only by my hands are they able to even do so.” Violet shut her eyes tightly as she was pulled above his head. Spit barraged her face, drenching her cheeks in saliva. Violet whimpered as she felt his claws digging into her arms, a wet sensation forming along them as blood began to dribble across her limb.
  140.
  141. A loud clanging shot off in the distance. Like clockwork the two looked over at the source of the noise. Violet gasped, while Dr. Glides’ mouth merely hung open. One of the paramedics sat on the ground, rubbing his head as the breathing tank laid knocked over by his side. Not far from it, the valve had been busted off, a loud hissing sound radiating from the hose that connected it.
  142.
  143. An eerie creaking noise filled the air, just as Gwen’s belly began to fill as well. Her flabby face jiggled as she thrashed about, her rolls of fat wobbling while she exerted herself in a panic. Slowly, her stomach began to once again rise up. Her tits ballooned, becoming rounder and bigger. Her arms and legs beside and below her followed suit. Every inch of every limb on the poor girl began to inflate.
  144.
  145. The wrinkles and crevices caused from her fat caving in on itself smoothed out slightly, rounding out as her skin filled. Her stomach began to groan and growl; its already stressed surface being forced outwards even further. The slight rise and fall of her chest was no more, now it only rose, reaching up to new heights, her lungs being provided with much more than previously needed. The fact her flesh had been able to hold on as long as it did was a medical miracle, but not even miracles are always enough when it comes to getting out of jams such as this.
  146.
  147. Silence washed over the everyone that watched, exemplifying the creaks and groans that emitted from Gwen’s insides. Dr. Glide slowly set Violet down, his conscious being much too distracted to focus on holding her up. Violet watched while still being clenched between his giant fists, her torso turning as she twisted herself in order to get a look at what was happening.
  148.
  149. The crowed all stood in a single unified clump of wide eyes, gaping maws, and tensed bodies. Even the news reporter had shut her muzzle, in spite of the camera still rolling behind her as it watched her tail clench between her legs. The paramedic that had fallen beside Gwen had long since hoisted himself up in a hurry, fleeing the scene. Seeing him run, a sense of the inevitable loomed over the crowd. He was the only one to escape. Everyone else had been tied to where they stood, bound by the horrid, morbid curiosity that filled their hearts like the air from the tank filled Gwen.
  150.
  151. Gwen’s body began to round out. Her hands and feet had sunken into her robust appendages, becoming nearly lost within the encompassing tubes of fat and air. Her body began to reach up around her face, swallowing her neck and mushing against her cheeks. Her stomach went from reaching eleven feet to twelve, then thirteen, then fourteen, then fifteen feet. A slight red hue coated her flesh, darkening as it neared its limit.
  152.
  153. Violet hastily turned her head away, her eyes clenching shut as she did so. Her rapid and shallow breathes pushed out against Dr. Glides grip, her body still managing to nervously shake from within his constricting hold. Feeling her shivering, he finally let go, her frame thus collapsing in front of him. Stepping backwards and away from the weak girl, Dr. Glide brought his arms up and folded them behind his back. His chest clenched at the sight of the worthless rabbit. Unable to bear witness to such a display, with a few long strides he walked himself around her, garnering himself a better look at the tensing situation. With his shadow cast over the collapsed Violet behind him, Dr. Glide’s eyes sunk into his skull as they witnessed Gwen’s near endless growth.
  154.
  155. Violet’s knees bleed out along the concrete as she fell onto them. With sweating hands, she clenched her ears against her skull. Still, the blood curdling creaking managed to seep through. With her eyes shut tightly, she curled into a fetal position, her sad attempt at separating her senses completely from the world.
  156.
  157. What was once Gwen was now completely unrecognizable. Going from blob to balloon in a single day had rendered her entire body into a round, amorphous mess of a sight. Streams of blood rolled down her fur, the first signs that she was closer than ever to giving way. No signs of humanity remained within her. She was unable to speak, unable to move, unable to do anything. All that was left of her humanity was her own mind and thoughts, all of which were secluded to herself and no one else.
  158.
  159. (Oh God…, Violet…, I’m…, so sorry for putting you through this…,)
  160.
  161. That was all her panic ridden mind was able to conjure up. As Gwen reveled within her last inner sympathies, the ground shook below her. Bits of fox flew everywhere. The crowd screamed as blood and gore showered them, soaking them with the morbid reality they were so content to watch, but never act to try and change. The news caster reeled over, clenching her stomach as she vomited, the mess of red soaking into her pink suit. Dr. Glide stood in place, closing his eyes as her flesh pelted him. Violet began to sob hysterically, having felt the ground shake beneath her, she knew what had caused the violent tremors.
  162.
  163. The sound of splattering organs and flesh finally came to a stop. Those who were able to look past being showered in someone else’s innards slowly raised up, only to find what was remained of the poor fox. Laying sprawled out along the ground, Gwen’s fat limps drooped away from her ruptured torso, the sagging blobs melting alongside her like ice cream on scalding concrete. Her face, buried underneath the endless fat, was unable to reveal any last outwards emotions. Some of the onlookers shivered as they pondered over what her final thoughts and feelings could have been. Her chest cavity was completely split apart, her rib cage sticking from her body like boney fingers reaching out from beneath the grave. What lied within the sprawling bones was a mush of varying hues of red. The majority of her innards had flown out, but part of her lower intestines still laid strewn out on besides her, like a giant pink snake slithering from a dark wet hole. And thus, that was all that remained of the one once called Gwen.
  164.
  165. The camera man lowered his gear. Sternly he looked at his host, shrugging at the wasted footage, all of which had been shown on live T.V. Wiping her mouth of some lingering vomit, the reporter looked about, her hands still clenched over her stomach. A sickly green coated her face, mixing with the red that dripped from it. “Fucking hell…”
  166.
  167. Dr. Glide looked down, sighing as he pinched between his eyes. Looking back solemnly at Violet who was still sprawled along the ground shivering to herself, he began to walk away. With a few swift movements of his hands, he ordered his team to gather. The group all began to race for their ambulance, while he slowly lingered behind them, his fingers nervously twisting around each other behind his back as he neared the vehicle.
  168.
  169. Violet was left to herself, that in which there was little left of. Her body was weak, unable to even sit itself up. Her mind was blank, overrun with unbearable grief and misery, it chose to simply not think as those were the only things it was able to think about. No tears were able to run from her dilated eyes, and her chest heaved as she sputtered awkwardly on the ground. The world around her was no more. She found herself left in a void, one where all she knew was herself and her own suffering.
  170.
  171. The crowd slowly began to separate, mumbling amongst themselves as they went their own ways like nothing had even happened. While most hurried on to go home and wash themselves, a few did linger behind. They stood in place, their arms clenching over their stomach as they muttered and groaned to themselves. Dr. Glide stopped himself when he heard the hollow moans. Turning around and seeing the sickness spread like this made his own stomach churn with an unnerving queasiness.
  172.
  173. From behind it all, the camera man turned and began to walk back towards the van. “C’mon, we better get going, the higher ups are no doubt going to have some notes to share.” The news reporter didn’t respond. Standing in place she held a hand over her mouth, her entire frame shivering.
  174.
  175. “Oh god…, what the hell is this?” She clenched her stomach, pushing into it lightly, an audible gurgle emerging as she did so. “All the sudden I feel like complete shit.”
  176.
  177. The camera man squinted at her. “Thank god you’d never get a job in something serious like a war zone.”
  178.
  179. She turned to him and scowled. “Would you just shut the fuck up?” Her stomach growled from under her arm, causing her to reel over, her face scrunching. “Oh shit, I can feel something, like…, there’s actually something inside my gut.” The camera man stopped and turned himself around, silently looking at her as she gasped with apparent pain.
  180.
  181. “Do you…, like…, need a doctor or something.”
  182.
  183. She groaned, a small belch escaping from her panting mouth. “Fucking shit.” From between her arms, her stomach pushed out from beneath them. Growing against her tightening limbs, a blob of fat soon spilled out, forcing them apart as her gut erupted forward. “Ah, shit.” She winced uncomfortably, her eyes beginning to tear up. Her dress shirt rose up, her fatty navel poking out from between her top and her skirt. Grabbing her clothing, she tried to push her shirt down over her growing stomach, but nothing could be done, her midsection had become too large.
  184.
  185. The camera man began to back away, his eyes widening as he watched her spontaneous growth. “Ah hell,” he whispered. “I think…, whatever happened to her…, is contagious.” Her hair flung about as she turned towards him, her chest heaving as she began to panic.
  186.
  187. Her stomach swelled out, the already tight shirt sinking into her gut. Gradually it began to tear along the bottom, unable to adapt to the newly found girth of its wearer. Desperate to join the party, her bosoms were next to start inflating. Her perked nipples poked from beneath her shirt, and soon enough a button exploded off of her top, a tuft of her chest fur poking out from the torn clothing. “Oh fuck…, am I…, going to grow until…,” she gulped, her mouth growing dry as she was unable to finish her sentence.
  188.
  189. The newscaster’s body wobbled back and forth as her ass cheeks bulged out from below her, a light ripping sound echoing into her drooped ears. A blotch of red showed between the tearing pink of her skirt. The lacy garment sunk into her ass as her voluptuous rump grew out from underneath her panties. The cameraman’s eyes instinctively latched on to the revealing sight, his eyes twitching with unfiltered focus, and her face became as red as the lingerie that covered her from behind. “Well, the executives always said that this was your biggest asset as a reporter,” he mumbled. She huffed at him, her lips puckering as she pouted.
  190.
  191. Dr. Glide watched the incident from afar. His large body was shivering as he beheld the disease’s infectious nature. “This…, this can’t be happening.” His stomach growled. Placing a hand over his midsection, he felt his lungs clamp as panic constricted them. From underneath his fingers, he could already feel it, like something was moving inside of him, as if his stomach had formed a mind of its own and was trying to escape its dark confines. It pushed from under his shirt, the buttons that held his uniform together tightening against the growth. He turned to his team who had just started to board the ambulance, their bodies stiffening as they saw his eyes flaring at them. “Don’t just gawk at me, do something here.” His voice growled as he spat out the orders. A key factor in being intimidating, however, is to do so while not looking like you were due to go into labor at any moment.
  192.
  193. Dr. Glide squinted an eye as he clenched his inflating belly, his heavy breaths radiating from his face like a pissed off bull. His arms fattened, the toned muscles that made up his frame slowly lost their shape as a new layer of flab filled out his shirt sleeves. His pants stretched across his legs, his filling thighs forcing the clothes outward. With a snap his pants button popped. With a gasp, he looked over his new, less flattering shape. The good doctor had always been known for being on the larger side, but thanks to his newest medical discovery, he found he was able to take that claim to new heights.
  194.
  195. As for the remaining populace that stuck around, their bodies weaved back and forth uncertainly as they groaned and clenched their stomachs. Having to describe why they did this would be a silly endeavor. Men and woman, a few children as well. They all fell victim, and thus, they all began to swell. The air rung with the sound of tearing clothes and popping buttons. Their moans elevated the sea of strange noises like waves in a storm, their ghastly wails becoming less and less human. The pill designed to fend off hunger was a catastrophic failure, and in spite of its filling effects, their tummies growled and rumbled with the all too animalistic desire to eat. Their gargantuan frames needed more. Desperate to feed their watering maws, they plucked the organs that coated them and tossed it into their mouths, their cheeks rotating as they swirled the bits of gore along their taste buds. They desperately bent over, slathering their moistened tongue against the blood that stained their clothes. Immediately, they had discovered a new food source, and immediately, they licked their lips as they found out that they all shared a quaint fondness for it.
  196.
  197. Violet clenched her ears against her head. The earth shook beneath her, causing her mind to fill with grotesque images as she imaged all the individuals that had been splattered by her friend growing, and growing, and growing, until their bodies just couldn’t handle any more. The sudden sound of screeching rubber caused her body to jump in on itself with surprise. Violet’s head jolted upward, just in time to witness the news van reeling away into the distance, her baggy eyes squinting as she watched it disappear. Her ears perked as a feint growling sound radiated behind her. The ground shook beneath her, and with a twitch of her nose, she soon realized that each convulsion was timed in unison. Glaring at the concrete rubble, she watched it bounce in time. One two, stomp! One two, stomp! The pebbles shook and cluttered like they were being timed by a metronome.
  198.
  199. Slowly, Violet turned her torso around, leaning up on her arm as she saw what was really happening. Her face went white, and her blood ran cold. With stuttering lips, she tried to scream, but nothing came out besides a pathetic stream of panic filled whimpers. Violet turned herself over on her back, and slowly began to try and crawl away, her purse swinging below her while her shivering limbs proved to be a poor means of escape.
  200.
  201. Shrouding her target with her looming shadow, the news reporter gazed at the petrified rabbit with hungry eyes. The fat on her arms swung about wildly with each step, her grubby fingers pinching the air as she reached out towards her desired meal. What remained of her clothes was nothing but shreds of pink that hung loosely along her body. Her belly hung out in front her, her fat navel swaying as she waddled forward. Two humongous blobs hung from her chest, her swollen nipples swaying freely atop her fatty, exposed breasts. Her flabby thighs concealed what was between her legs, but from behind, her ass jiggled vigorously, no longer contained by the red panties that had exploded off from her.
  202.
  203. With watering lips, she licked her teeth. Her wild eyes said it all, not an ounce of humanity remained in her subconscious. Her mind had gone blank, fueled only by instinct and personal gain. Violet could hear the lost girls stomach rumbling from within, prompting her own arms to strain as she picked up the pace, her heart thumping within her stinging chest.
  204.
  205. From the corner of her eyes, Violet was able to see the crowd of people that remained. They had all transformed, an army of naked behemoths, waddling about their separate ways. None of them seemed to have noticed her or the reporter. The sounds of her stomping mingled with the rest of the crowd’s, and thus their heads continued to stare along blankly as they went about whatever direction they just so happened to be facing. Violet clenched her lips, her cheeks puffing as she attempted to keep her grunts and gasps concealed.
  206.
  207. They were slow and clumsy, but their large numbers and even larger frames gave them a presence none the less, and even with their awkward, almost comical waddles, their sheer size alone enabled them to cover a formidable distance with every step. Violet felt her body leap off the ground with every stomp of the news reporter, her large foot landing some odd meters away from Violet’s scrambling legs. “Oh shit, oh fuck, oh shit,” was the extent of what her racing mind was able to conjure at the moment.
  208.
  209. Each step of the beast seemed to near her closer. Centimeter by centimeter, she gradually caught up to Violet. Indents were left in the concrete, forming behind her a trail of gargantuan footprints. Her fat wobbled as she reared her leg up. With a scowl, she slammed her foot into the ground, shooting up a cloud of dirt and rubble, topped off with an ear splitting crash. Violet’s hands had become a dark mix of red and black. She couldn’t go on like this, not if her intent was to survive.
  210.
  211. Finally, Violet stopped herself completely. She laid herself flat, her chest heaving as she leaned her head up to watch the monster. The beast’s grotesque face curled into a smile. With watering lips, she took one last step, her frame jiggling as she placed her foot half a meter away from Violet, who had curled her legs up in order to give herself that much more distance. Looking through her squinted eyes at the beast, Violet again relaxed her body along the ground as she saw that she had space to spare.
  212.
  213. The monster reared its leg up, growling as it looked down over her. With a grunt she brought her leg forward. Violet’s body tensed and immediately she began to roll herself to the side. With a crunch, the concrete split under the monster’s foot. Dirt and debris shot up. With a toothy grin she glared through the cloud, scrunching her toes as she was sure she felt some bone scraping against them. The cloud cleared, and seeing nothing but ruined asphalt, the monsters looked over to the side. Violet stood herself up. Back up on her feet, she began to sprint away.
  214.
  215. The monster roared into the sky, her fists clenching. Huffing violently, she gave chase, her endless display of fat rocking in every direction as she waddled along as quickly as she could. Violet turned her head briefly over her shoulder, curious to see the monster suddenly give chase like this. (Why didn’t it exert herself like this before?) she couldn’t help but wonder. The monster’s face reddened, pools of sweat dripping from her body. Violet’s eyes grew wide when she saw the looming frames of the other beasts. Some looked up at the commotion, but somberly continued on their way, unable to justify the chase. (“Ah…, guess it would make sense not to make a scene when so much competition lingered by.)
  216.
  217. With a gasp Violet tripped over, the result of her divided attention not focusing in front of her. Her hands scrapped along the concrete as she caught herself, leaving behind a trail of blood along the otherwise black asphalt. The sound of clanking tin caught her ears, and she looked down at the bag that she had dragged along beside her. The earsplitting roars of the beast caused her attention to once again shoot back upwards, her eyes locking onto the nearing menace. Violet grunted as she pushed up on her knee. Standing herself up, she looked dead on at the careening creature.
  218.
  219. Violet’s arms tensed and her face scrunched. With a growl she dug into the dirtied bag, pulling out the small tin of soda that Gwen had tried to sneak. Clenching tightly onto the canister, she promptly lobbed the tin through the air, watching as it smacked itself against the beast’s skull, a meager attempt at swaying her attacker. With one last stomp the reporter stopped her pursuit. The can rolled off her face and down her body. Her fat arms jiggled as she brought them up, catching the can between her sausage shaped fingers. Licking her lips, she brought it up to her face, and with bared teeth, she bit into the container. Fizz shot up all over her muzzle, soaking her head with the sticky and surgery beverage. The can dropped to the ground, and the beast was left licking her lips, grunting with pleasure.
  220.
  221. Violet tilted her head, but was quickly jolted back into place as more earth shaking stomps echoed nearby. “Shit, who knows how many of these things there are now.” Sensing that they were getting closer, she turned her heels and made a break for it, only to slam herself against a sudden wall of fat. Her body bounced off of the jiggling juggernaut, forcing herself backwards before tripping over her legs as she fell onto the concrete behind her with a hard thud. Looking down at the wincing rabbit with sharpened teeth, what was once Dr. Glide reared his clawed hands up as he reached out towards her.
  222.
  223. “Shit,” Violet mumbled. Not wanting to catch herself in the same predicament as before, she quickly turned herself around, stumbling as she forced herself back up onto her legs. She swerved back and forth as she tried to find her footing, but one stomp from Dr. Glide was all it took to send her falling forward once again, the shockwave sent out from his giant frame forcing her down as if she was bowled over by a giant wave in the ocean.
  224.
  225. Violet’s face landed on the concrete, her cheek turning red as it scrapped along the ground. Rubbing her bloodied brow, she groaned to herself. Looking up, Violet gasped when saw the news reporter. The beast clenched her huge stomach between her fingers, her face red and sweaty as she let out a deep moan. Her stomach churned and groaned, making it apparent that it did not agree with the carbonation that had been slurped down into it.
  226.
  227. Strewn along the ground, Violet could feel the earth rumbling slightly as the monster’s tummy growled unhappily. The beast’s cheeks puffed, and an enormous belch shot through her lips. Holding back her stomach, what was already a huge blob began to swell out even further. Violet stood herself up, her body tensing at what she saw. Even Dr. Glide had stopped himself momentarily to observe the strange happening before them. “Curious,” Violet thought. “Looks like they’re not as brain dead as I had thought.”
  228.
  229. The news reporter groaned a deep woeful grunt, her fat arms wobbling as she tried to hold back her expanding gut. From behind her, her pompous rump also began to swell, the two cheeks inflating like parade balloons. Her flabby body began to tighten, her once soft and plush frame now turning taught as it filled from within.
  230.
  231. Along her chests, her bosoms rounded, spurts of fizz and foam beginning to dribble from her nipples. The beast’s face puffed, her cheeks turning into two circles beside her muzzle. Her grunts and roars became wet “mmphs,” as a stream of spray began to flow through her lips.
  232.
  233. Violet bit her lip as she began to slowly scoot herself away from the scene. With Dr. Glide now occupied, such a perfect opportunity couldn’t be wasted, but from observation alone, any sound she made to earn back his attention would immediately throw this golden chance through the window.
  234.
  235. The news reporter’s arms became like tubes, spreading out as they filled with fizz and were thus forced upwards. Her legs split apart, pried away from each other thanks to the same substance that coursed through the rest of her body. Her vagina became visible, it too dribbling with the carbonated life saver, the blots of liquid dripping to the ground with tiny splats.
  236.
  237. Violet’s heart thumped between her ribs, a cold sweat breaking out along her brow. Her legs tensed as she moved as quickly as she could, but her fear of discovery hindered her mobility, and her ears twitched at the prospect of not being able to get away before things got messy.
  238.
  239. The beast’s head became engulfed, her body rising up from below it, swallowing her neck and pushing against her cheeks. Her clenched hands became imbedded into her arms, while her crotch began to grow downward, forcing itself below her legs before finally touching the ground. A pool of soda had leaked all around her, soaking the nearby concrete as it bubbled and fizzed along the ground. Her body had gradually begun to round, her skin wobbling as the inner substance sloshed around from inside. Wet gurgles and groans shook through the air, sending shivers down Violet’s spine as she slowly tried to race away.
  240.
  241. Dr. Glide had watched the whole ordeal in silence, his fat chest slowly rising and sinking calmly as he observed with an obtuse sense of interest. With serious eyes he gazed at her growing body, licking his lips as he did so. Holding his stomach, he felt it rumble within him, jealous that it wasn’t able to feel as full as she was. With a deep laugh he slowly began to waddle towards her.
  242.
  243. Violet briefly looked back over her shoulder, her heart sinking as she saw what little ground she had covered. Steering her eyes over to Dr. Glide, she felt her spirits perk as she witnessed him waddling over to the news reporter. With a sigh she picked her pace up some, although she dared not bust out into a full sprint just yet.
  244.
  245. Dr. Glide reached towards her with outstretched arms. Placing his hand under her leaking chest, he soaked his palm into the sweet drink that flowed along her distended stomach. Bringing his hand up to his face, he lathered his tongue around the sticky fur that coated his palms. Like a bear to a honey tree, he constantly switched arms, reeling them back and forth as he brought an endless supply to his gaping mouth.
  246.
  247. The news reporter was now a nearly complete ball, her skin having being filled to the absolute brim with soda. Her fat hands clenched along her body, her arms having completely sunken into her expanding girth. Her feet hung pathetically beneath her, two useless appendages that poked from her body like gophers from their hole. Her crotch pushed up against the ground, completing her circular look as it supported her teetering body. Her fat face loomed over from above her body, her sad eyes looking down as the good doctor poked into her body with his greedy hands. Hanging from her chest were two blobs, her breasts having completely transformed into a pair of water balloons that were suspended from the rest of her.
  248.
  249. Violet took another brief glance behind her. Dr. Glide who had been completely subdued, a smile running across his fat face as he slurped himself silly from the poor girl. With a light laugh, Violet pushed a foot from the ground. Inhaling a huge swig of air, she clenched her fists as she prepared to make a break for it.
  250.
  251. With one last slurp along his hands, Dr. Glide looked over as he saw that her body had run dry on account his greedy drinking. His lips smacked against each other, and he growled to himself. Reaching out, he clenched his hands onto her, his clawed fingers sinking deep within her straining flesh. With a throb of his arms, he pushed himself into her, grunting as he hoped for another stream to be forced out. With a feint gasp, he got much more than that, however.
  252.
  253. The crashing sound of rushing soda shot through Violet’s mind like a gunshot, her body contorting tightly to a stop. Blots of foam slathered the back of her head before a sudden rush of liquid caught her from behind and sent her careening forward. Her body rolled violently within the racing substance, her knees and arms scrapping along the concrete before she finally turned over into a stop. With her fingers gripping onto the ground, she raised her body up and above the wave, her ears flying back as she surfaced like a mermaid. Her stomach inclined as she coughed. Her eyes were tightly strewn shut while her throat heaved. Dripping from her soaked fur, feint plops dropped into the makeshift lake, tapping her ears like a finger on a glass bowel. Wiping her wet face with her wet arm, Violet wearily stood herself up onto staggering feet, the pads of her shoes squishing audibly as they pressed against the wet concrete. With a gentle hand held to her mouth, she flung her head left and right, a heavy shiver coursing through her body in its natural attempt at drying itself. The taste of root beer fizzled on her tongue.
  254.
  255. Squinting through the burning soda, Violet slowly turned herself around. Nothing was left of the news reporter. An amorphous black blob jiggled in the distance, and through her splitting head she was still able to recognize Dr. Glide, or at least, what remained of him. He waved his fat arms in the air, while drops of soda splashed where he desperately kicked his legs. Streams of drink dribbled down his mushy, fat face, while his gaping mouth gasped for air where his heavy body weighed on his lungs. With a hand to her chest, Violet hiccupped. Wiping her own mouth against the soggy hairs on her arm, she felt her body go limp on itself. “Damn…,” was all her head could muster.
  256.
  257. Violet could already feel it; a light brewing sensation had already begun to take shape in her gut. Clenching against her naval, pushing into her stomach managed to force out a heavy belch from her mouth. Through the nauseous gas, the taste of soda and sickness flowed against her taste buds. “Oh no...,” her stomach rumbled in agreement.
  258.
  259. Where Dr. Glide kicked and clawed like an upturned turtle, a deep bubbling began to resonate. What was already a bulbous body began to expand and push outwards, his stretched skin creaking in compliance. Violet watched the occurrence with somber eyes. Feeling her own stomach beginning to distend from under her hands, it was like watching her fate unravel before herself in a mirror. She sighed to herself, streams of tears beginning to mold in her eyes.
  260.
  261. Like rising dough, Dr. Glide swelled. Lying flat on his back, all the buildup went straight to his stomach, which rumbled and shook as it rose up. The once good doctor clenched at himself, growling as his claws sunk deep into his skin. His pecs rounded, his nipples becoming perky from the force underneath. His thighs widened, his cock puffing up between them, spurts of fizz dribbling from the head. His limbs fattened even further, and his fingers and toes turned into puffy dents along his hands and feet respectively. His shadow grew taller under him, reaching up further and further as his frame bulged toward the sky.
  262.
  263. Violet felt it begin promptly within her midsection. Bubbles and liquid sloshed in her stomach, causing her to belch once more. Rubbing her plush tummy, the feeling was the equivalent to downing a complete liter of soda in one gulp. A lump pushed from under her shirt. If one were to film the ordeal, it would be like watching a developing pregnant belly on fast forward. “Oohhh…,” she moaned faintly. A light green came about her cheeks, and her face squirmed as her mind reeled over what was happening. From under her chest her heart raced as panic set in. But nothing could be done, and Violet knew it. Clenching her swelling belly, Violet whimpered, wishing in her head that it would all just be done with.
  264.
  265. Dr. Glide’s cheeks swelled along his face, a brown foamy liquid leaking from his muzzle. His deep growls become muffled, turning into wet comical gurgles inside his throat. His arms and legs tensed repeatedly, a vain attempt at raising his limbs which had since become too heavy for him to support as he was. His body was now the consistency of mush. While the news caster had become a complete ball, he looked like a deflated one thanks to his seemingly formless frame. Yet his skin continued to pile in on itself, jiggling and rumbling as it inflated endlessly.
  266.
  267. Violet’s pants strained has she began to swell from below the belt. Her ass cheeks pushed from beneath the seams of her jeans. Her front button split apart, her spilling belly flopping in front of her exposed panties. The sides of her pant legs began to tear, holes forming along the cloth as her thighs swelled. Her bosoms filled out her shirt, pushing it even further away from her body.
  268.
  269. Holding up her heavy arms, Violet winced as she held them along her rapidly growing body. With her teeth grit, she closed her eyes, her nose twitching as she tried to escape into her mind and away from the impending end.
  270.
  271. Dr. Glide was the size of a small building. His hands and feet were shrouded by his globs of fat. His face was unrecognizable, his cheeks and chin covering it like a flesh mask. His cock rested idly between his shapeless legs, the only thing to have retained a recognizable shape. His innards bubbled and gurgled, while his skin creaked and stretched. Tiny rises formed along where his chest was, filled by what miniscule amounts of air he was able to fit through his nostrils. His entire body wobbled, a low growl emitting from it which shook the ground slightly. Incapable of moving any part of him, it was as if he had reverted from his monstrous state and back to the once, partially, human person he started the day as.

  273. The bits between Violet’s legs tingled. Her face winced as she felt her tightening panties turn soggy and wet against her. Streams of soda trickled down her leg, dripping from the cuffs that surrounded her ankle. She would have reached down and torn her constricting pants off by now if her arms hadn’t become fat cylinder beside her. They forcefully rose up along her, giving her body a star like shape as her legs widened apart thanks to her fattening crotch. Her feet ached as the continues weight mounted endlessly atop them. Her navel led the way, being front in line as her midsection continued to round outward.
  274.
  275. Violet’s ears perked as the seams of her clothes busted audibly. A long daunting string of pops haunted her ear drums, one by one, revealing more and more of her swollen flesh. From below her shirt, two fat nipples poked from beneath the straining material. Her bosoms swelled, just as the rest of her did. Her shirt constricted tightly against her body, reclining ever so slightly into her rounding frame. Still, her navel poked out between the two like the cream filing of an Oreo. With her back beginning to swell out from behind her, as expected, her body had since begun to reach the final steps of its transformation into a sphere.
  276.
  277. Violet whimpered hopelessly. It was the only thing she could do as she didn’t count wiggling her hands and feet as anything. Her arms and legs sunk into her body, just as the new reporters did. Her ballooning body teetered against her crotch, rocking aimlessly as the flush of liquid pushed her along every direction as it filled her. The more casual clothing option she had picked out for the day had proven to be more resilient to her rapid change, as opposed to the news castors more “professional” attire. Her loose shirt pulled tightly along her body, but had otherwise managed to cling on in spite of some tears in the fabric. Her pants had become completely undone, but regardless, were still able to cover her crotch and ass. With its button having since flown off some time ago, her striped panties had now become visible for the world to see. Still, it was much more graceful way to go as opposed to the reporter whose final moments had been spent naked and deprived completely of any humanity.
  278.
  279. Violet’s head rested against her body. From below her neck, her skin had swelled up, engulfing it as well as shrouding her entire bottom jaw. Her sad eyes loomed over what she had become, her cheeks turning green as her rocking body swirled the liquids inside her, causing a feint queasiness to from within her gut. With her neck trapped, her vision was primarily set to only what was in front of her. Still, her peripherals were able to pick up the enormous black blob that was Dr. Glide.
  280.
  281. Dr. Glide wasn’t remotely recognizable. Where his head began and tail ended was anyone’s guess. His limbs, feet, hands, face, and even his cock, had become hidden away within his bulging flesh. The only thing that was certain about him, was that he hadn’t stopped growing, not even for a second. His creaking skin resonated for miles, creating a low, eerie emission that could only be compared to a ghost’s hollow moans. Streams of soda shot from his body, jumping forth like jets of water from a fountain. It was apparent he was near his limit, and as Violet felt the tightening clutch of her own inward pressure, she felt her heart ache ever so slightly as she finally felt like they had something to connect over. Clenching her fists, she closed her eyes. Unsure as to who was doomed to go first, she was finally able to let her mind go. Images of Gwen flashed within her subconscious; it was the only thing she was able to focus on.
  282.
  283. Through her crotch, Violet could feel the ground rumble ever so slightly as Dr. Glide’s frame continued to mumble and groan. She was unable to tell if the creaking sound that hung in her ears were her own, his, or a combination of both. Her nails dug into her palms as her clenched fists tightened. She felt her entire body pulse with every pump of her hear racing heart. With a cold sweat coating her frame, she gritted her teeth as she prepared to face her fate. Violet’s heart skipped a beat. The low lingering rupture was hastily followed up by the all too familiar sound of rushing liquid. Slowly opening one of her eyes, she was only able to catch a brief glimpse of the rushing soda before it swept along her body, causing her in her entirety to topple over backwards. Her body shook violently as the gallons of soda repositioned itself within, the rapid sloshing of her gut along with the surrounding stream flowing through her head as if it was placed under a waterfall. In her mind, she was unable to dictate how long it had been, but over time, the rushing that surrounded her subsided, and the liquid within her calmed to a halt. Opening her eyes, Violet was able to see the empty blue sky against her inflated body. The few clouds that crawled overhead went along as they always did, untouched by the chaos that had broken loose below them.
  284.
  285. All at once, for the first time in hours, Violet had felt her heart return to a state of peace. Although her skin grew against her piercing clothes, and the tightness she felt inside her innards was the equivalent to being toppled by a steam roller, in spite of it all, a tiny, but genuine smile formed against her face. While it was hidden by her encompassing flesh, she could still feel it as strongly as ever. And it filled her with something, something other than soda. Her mind again returned back to Gwen, as she imagined them both as they once were. “To have thought this would be how our story ended.” Tears formed in her eyes, and through her body she began to giggle sweetly. “Oh Gwen…, how happy I am…, to have been with you as long as I was.” While the creaking of her flesh still pierced her ears, her mind was able to focus on what made it happy, and for a brief moment, she was able to forget what it was that had happened to both her and her lover.
  286.
  287. Gwen was the last thing Violet’s mind was able to think of. Within the span of a split second, everything she was able to see, hear, and imagine, vanished. Instantly.
