She'd nod as she said this.

[22:15] Ichida nods it was good she at least knew the name of the style, but if that was all then this process would be rather long. He'd thinking of a good starting point for her though with his help she shouldn't have much trouble with it.

"The style was created around the art of blinding your opponent in battle and using that split second to strike them down. It's not something easy todo and it also requires enough speed to continuously preform the needed actions for Night Falls, Whisper.

You aren't the fastest person, but well bull up your speed in the process of out training sessions.

Before I go any deeper into my explanation, tell me what a smoke bomb is and what it's used for."

[22:22] Ichida pulls out several smoke bombs, tossing them over towards Rukia hoping she'd catch them. He'd thinking of another good starting point for her though it seems she has done a little research.

"That's very good Rukia. Smoke bombs are used to blind the enemy for a short period of time and in that split second you get to escape.

Keep that same concept and apply it to a battle, using the smoke bombs in battle to blind the enemy though instead of running from them you use that opening to strike them.

It's not easy to drop smoke bombs while focusing on your target which is why we will need to practice this a lot."

Ichida paused for a moment.

[22:25] Rukia would nod intently as Ichida spoke. She'd open up her hand and catch the smoke bombs, looking at them curiously. She'd gotten them to help with escapes... But using them in combat? That was a whole different animal for her.

"Strike instead of run away. Got it~"

She'd put a hand on her chin. She'd rack her head on it. She was never the type to fight sneakily.

"Wait... so do I just throw it on the ground and charge at you?

[22:33] Ichida rest his hand on his chin as he listened to her question, something so basic could be so effective and all one does is drop smoke bombs on the ground.

"If you break it down to a simple form of what Night Fall, Whisper is then yes you are correct. You would indeed toss the smoke bombs at me, but that wouldn't get you far.

Be a Samurai and practicing the art of a Shinobi is more than jsut a simple throw bombs on the ground. Your movements must be true and your strikes must mean everything.

It's simple to evade a smoke bomb being thrown at you, but when you time it right and strike following after then and only then will you understand the art.

If you strike is true, If you movements aren't true then there is no need to learn Night Falls, Whisper.

But..

If you focus your mind and body into learning this when to strike from the shadows and when to wait for the right opening.

Then you are one step closer to being the second user of Night Falls, Whisper."

[22:42] Rukia would place a thoughtful hand on her chin as Ichida spoke. She figured it wouldn't be so simple. The samurai girl would nod as he continued to explain the core of his martial art.

"So it's a matter of practice, timing, and more... I'll keep that in mind Ichida~"

She'd hum slightly as he spoke of striking true. Your strikes must mean everything Those words echo in her head now as he continued on.

"Absolute focus through the mind... And complete control of movement through the body..."

She'd cast her gaze upwards toward Ichida. She'd seem to have a spark of lightning in her eye. This was going to be a long path.

"I look forward to the day you and I can teach it together~"

She'd give a cheeky grin to him. It seems she'scommitted now.

[22:46] Palamades continued watching in silence. Making sure everything was acceptable as she sought it... or he... in this case... Perhaps there was deeper meaning to everything he said... perhaps not... Maybe he wasnt aware of the deeper... 2nd hand idea of things beyond what was on the base... Or maybe he was just sitting there.... Unawares of all going on... Who was to say...?

[22:50] Ichida offered her a smile he could tell she was eager to learn and that was all he wanted to see in a student that wish to study the art of a Shinobi.

"You have the right idea now and from now on when you get into fights I want you to practice using these smoke bombs weather it's training or a sticky situation.

This will help improve your speed as-well as land your strikes better. This simple training will help improve your mind and body as a whole.

He'd draw his blade.

"Let's practice now and I want to see if you have the concept down pact. I will also be using Night Falls, Whisper so you have an idea of what it looks like.

[22:56] Rukia would ready the smoke bombs in her left hand, it was surprisingly unwieldy. Being a swordsman, she wasn't used to having something in her offhand.

She wouldn't be wielding raikiri. The Adjudicator's Guillotine would be in her main hand today. The large nyeshk greatsword a lot heavier now that she only had one arm to use it with.

Rukia would give Ichida a wide smile.

"Got it. I'll try to make using them a habit~"

The samurai girl would assume a battle stance, Hellstorm erupting to improve her speed at least a little bit.

"I'm ready when you are."

[23:05] Ichida would sheath his blade for a moment as his haze hues fell on Rukia, he'd grin a little while bouncing up and down seemingly light on his feet. He'd demonstrate the are of Night Falls, Whisper without fell and as expect it seems to complete is purpose.

"That's the little trick I've manage to come up with during my time here. What others know as Night Falls, Whisper, it's a rather useful skill when you have it down pact.

Like I explained before when your movements are true you'll be able to blind and strike when you feel there is an opening."

[23:14] As the training session begins, rukia would find herself struggling really hard. She'd drop a few of her smoke bombs by accident as she went to attack Ichida.

"E-eh!~?"

She'd juggle them with her one hand before being hit with a cloud of smoke, effectively blinding her vision. She'd wave her sword blindly before even noticing that Ichida was far and away from her range.

"This time for sure!"

The girl would throw down her own smoke bombs before charging in, Unfortunately to little effect. She'd start coughing as she was blinded by her own equipment! She'd end up taking hits from ichida now. How in the world was he able to move around like that!?

"h-how did..."

She'd charge up, teleporting herself away from the smoke with a lightning. It was definitely a losing battle as she struggled to find her own footwork.

Ultimately, as the round came to a close, Rukia would find herself faceplanting on the dojo floor, all of her smokebombs scattered in a pile around her. She'd pull herself up.

[23:31] Rukia would take a deep breath before casting her auburn hues upon Ichida. She was completely out of her element here... She had to adapt quickly if she wanted to learn.

She'd recount what she saw in the previous round. Ichida's light steps... The way he moved around the shadows in an almost perfect synchronization. Charging him without a plan was suicidal at best.

Mind and body... I can't move like he does... So I have to settle with my mind for now...

As the battle resumes, Instead charging in like before, she'd throw the smokebomb not at Ichida, but in front of herself! Effectively blocking his view of her. She'd dash backwards, holding her hand out and Blasting at him with streaks of lightning.

"If I can't charge you then I'll use the smokebombs to keep my distance!!"

She'd maintain this, it wasn't perfect. She was still struggling to use her smokebombs and sword in tandem. Only using them whenever she saw fit to block his view and shoot more lightning at him. She would come out victorious, but it was obvious she needed to work a lot more on it.

"h-how was that?"

[23:35] Ichida would pick himself up from the ground slowly giving the girl a few claps as she manage to best him in the spar. He'd prepare himself for the final round of course he'd praise her for using the information given in a way that gits here.

"I forgot to mention that you won't be able to do it like me, but as long as it's similar then that's all that matters. You quick thinking and how you utilized the smoke bombs gave you the victory."

He'd smile at her.

"Yes, jsut like that you took the time to think and strike thus you're one step closer.

I'm proud of you."

She'd ready herself once again for the final round

[23:48] Ichida would take a deep breath he nearly lose this little spar they had which means Rukia was improving slowly, but surely and with all the training conducted he could feel himself created a deeper connection with his own flames during the process.

His body grew warm almost as if it was bursting the tamed flames he is seeking for. He'd look up at her offering a warm smile, he'd make his way towards her and offer a hand to help her up.

"This training has helped you and me both achieve something greater. We're both getting stronger and I'm really proud of you and everything you manage to learn today.

I say we call it a day and allow the information to process for the night. We'll pick back up on it tomorrow or any other time your free and with that our training it over."

He'd whisper something to the girl.
